Went for some late night eats when visiting the area. Food was decent, although not great; however, service was friendly. Menus were available online, so we viewed on our phones. I had the Californian Burger with fried chicken, which sounded amazing - so I was disappointed that although it was well-cooked, it was under-seasoned. I ordered a side of fries but got a poutine instead. I would've sent it back but with Covid, I didn't bother. I should've, because although it was ok, I didn't think it was worth the extra money I was charged, especially since I couldn't finish it. My fault for not speaking up about it when it landed on the table. I would definitely go back if I ever find myself in the neighborhood again. Popped in radomly after a work function. I must say Yelp was pretty accurate. Food and service was solid. The decor was nothing extraordinary, but everything was clean and decorated nicely for Halloween. The service was awesome. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu. I ordered the Cajun wings and upgraded to a Cobb salad for my side. I didn't want the blue cheese crumbles and she said she could substitute goat cheese instead. I felt that was great value offering me something to replace it with. My wings were juicy, seasoned perfectly, and the quality of the meat was excellent. My salad was very small, even for a side salad. I think it was 4 dollars to upgrade to that salad, it could have been twice as big. Overall I enjoyed my meal and felt the value equalled the bill. This was a great surprise for a group of city boys in a small town. The restaurant is very clean and modern. The hours are great too. The servers were all very nice and helpful. Their menu had a burger for everyone. For me it was the porky, which had pulled pork on it. Everything tasted great, the fries were amazing. I wish there was more! My friend had the kenzi burger. Which has a soft fried egg on it. They do stick a tooth pick through the burger and when you remove it the yolks starts leaking out so be ready! My brother had the side Cobb salad with their wings on the side and everything looked great. The wings had a dry rub seasoning and crispy crunchy skin with juicy meat inside. This past few years I've experienced a spate of not-great burgers, so my friend had gave me a really hard sell on this place. First of all, the burgers are made to order and are ground up steak. Second, the BURGERS ARE MADE TO ORDER AND ARE GROUND UP STEAK. My big beef (heh) with burgers is that they are usually crappy meat, premade in some factory somewhere and frozen. My friend recommended just getting a plain burger, but I got one with the potato bun, deep fried onions and some kind of sauce. It was very good, but I should have taken his advice. I'm one for sparsely dressed burgers. I had the house salad, a serviceable mixed greens in vinaigrette and the Hubster had fries, which were skinny and quite good. The atmosphere is comfy and friendly. The service was a bit slow on the day I was there, which I am told is unusual for the place. I'll definitely visit again next time I'm in town and craving some beef. read more

We stopped here for dinner before a show at the casino on a Saturday night. It was busy, but we were seated right away and our server was very quick to bring our drinks. We got the pretzel bites to start - the grainy mustard and beer cheese dips were delish! You build your burger by selecting the toppings from a pre-selection of combinations, next choose your bun, the type of meat and the side. My husband ordered the California Burger - avocado, bacon and chipotle mayo with the sweet potato fries. I ordered the Picnic Burger - Brie, Carmelized Onions and Sliced Pears with Garlic Parm fries. We were both very pleased with our choices. The sweet potato fries were the best I've ever had!! The beef in the burgers was fresh and good quality. We ordered chicken fingers and fries for the kids. Great food! Decent beer and wine list, but could have a little bit more options. Very clean. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. I enjoy seeing how the staff converse with each other, because you can genuinely see how they enjoy their jobs and help each other out. Love going here to meet up with friends. Live music on weekends is great! Only thing I would suggest is to not have it so loud. It's a bar, not a club. I want to be able to enjoy the ambiance and still be able to converse with my friends. We REALLY love this place. Whenever friends come to town we bring them here. The customizations and atmosphere are great! The staff can seem disinterested at times, but most of them are very engaging and fun. It's likely due to the fact they are so busy. They make really good recommendations if you are not familiar with the food. I've had to send food back once due to a hair and they were really quick with getting a replacement meal and did provide great customer service. Some of the best customer service I have ever had, a bit high prices, food quality mostly pretty good. Typically I'd subtract stars for things that weren't ideal for me, however in this case, I'm giving this venue 5 stars due to some of the best customer service I've ever had. The server was constantly polite, smiling, up-beat, and making sure that our drinks were topped up. On my way out, one of the male servers (or bus boys?) turned around in front of me cutting me off, and he never ever realized that I was there was he walked across to the other side of the venue. The female server behind us who saw the situation however apologized on his behalf, which I found to be quite thoughtful of her. I had a mushroom poutine, which wasn't mixed properly, so the bacon that it came with ended up being at the bottom. Aside from that, I found it to be quite tasty and cooked to perfection. The price of the meal was a bit high, however I tipped an even higher percentage than usual due to the excellent customer service :-) All-in-all, while I might not go to this venue regularly due to their higher prices, I'd definitely return there for the excellent customer service. read more

I don't know whether the chef is just much better here than at their Barrie location or perhaps they've made steps to improve the food overall, but this was definitely a much better experience than the times I tried the burgers at the Barrie location. Our server warned us that they cook the burgers to 165 (or 160) so they'll be slightly pink in the middle. I expressed my enthusiasm for a pink middle. But unfortunately she was just a pink middle tease. My burger had no hint of a pink middle. Three out of four of my burger companions had no pink middle, one had a pink middle. I swear, I was sorely tempted to wrestle that pink-middled burger out of her hands, but I fought that devil on my shoulder and won. Despite the lack of the promised pink middle, this burger was very enjoyable. Not dense, not overly packed like the Barrie burgers that I tried. Good beefy flavour; no weird seasonings. I tried the PB&J burger and my only complaint (aside from the absence of pink) would be that there was too much J and not enough PB. I would next time forgo the jelly so I can better taste the peanut butter if I ever come back here. The sweet potato fries here were also really good. After the disappointing lines waiting for tables at every restaurant at CasinoRama after the Tracy Morgan show I'm very happy we decided to head into town to check this place out. Good ambiance, live music, staff is friendly enough and the burgers are off the hook. The Prime is delicious as were most of the sides and appies we got with them.
