Outstanding food and service - just like in all other The Keg locations we've been to. Weekends and…read moreevenings are always busy, but our walk-in wait time wasn't too long (~10 minutes). Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable in all the menu items (glad that she alerted that the pistachio-crusted roasted salmon would come with maple butter, so I could order the dish without it / put it on the side). I love that all menu items are customizable in all The Keg locations (can sub in, take out, or add certain ingredients or add-ons such as vegetables). They always have at least 1 vegetarian main dish on the menu, which tends to change every once in a while. We tried their most recent one, The Harvest Bowl, which consisted of basmati rice, falafels, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, and spiced yogurt. It was alright. They provided the option of choosing how I wanted the roasted salmon to be cooked (e.g. medium, medium well, well done, etc.) - always great to have that choice. The broccoli and mixed vegetables (which I asked as a substitute for the mashed potatoes) were excellent, as always.

But the true pièce de résistance was the steak. It was cooked to my liking (medium) and lovely flavors. The tenderness and quality of the meat were evident in every bite. What impressed me most, however, was the great service. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Overall, our experience at The Keg Steakhouse was truly unforgettable. If you are a steak lover like me, do yourself a favor and book a table ASAP! 3.5 STARS On the…read morelast day of enjoying our family day weekend, everyone decided to go for breakfast at The Weirs. My sister in law was able to make reservations for 11am, and they don't take reservations, but they were kind enough to do that for us (group of 14). At 11am there was already a long line of people waiting, but since we had reservations, we were able to walk ahead to be seated right away. We were greeted by our waiter, and he asked what drinks we would like, once he came back we were ready to order. I got the Ultimate Rama Breakfast and mr. Tran got himself the steak and home fries. Took about 15-20 mins for our orders to all arrive. My plate was big and I wasn't able to finish my pancake and the pea meal bacon (too salty for me). My toddler and I shared everything else. I had a piece of the steak and it was okay, it had a beefy aftertaste that I don't really like, but mr. Tran enjoyed it. Everything was paid for on my mother in laws Rama club points card as she accumulated a lot of points, so breakfast was basically free and we just put in tips for the amazing server.

I had the Californian Burger with fried chicken, which sounded amazing - so I was disappointed that although it was well-cooked, it was under-seasoned. I ordered a side of fries but got a poutine instead. I would've sent it back but with Covid, I didn't bother. I should've, because although it was ok, I didn't think it was worth the extra money I was charged, especially since I couldn't finish it. My fault for not speaking up about it when it landed on the table. I would definitely go back if I ever find myself in the neighborhood again. Covid-19 precautions are in place, with physical distancing between tables and everyone wearing masks when not seated.
