Quality of the food has gone down. Worst tasting bland burgers in Innisfil. The bus tasted so bad that I couldn't even eat them

I've been here a few times with the kiddos and once for myself. The soft serve ice cream is a magical touch. The fries are good, I found the burgers to be dry and over seasoned. A touch of salt and pepper are really all you need and the beef does the rest. Good customer service, I was really expecting a burger that had something special to it, unfortunately it wasn't what I had hoped. The only real seating was outside and fortunately I visited in the spring and summer, you are taking your meals to the table yourself. Came here over the summer with family. Great vibes! The funnel cakes are GREAT! Each retail for about $7-9 and come with Kawartha's ice cream & fruit topping. Tried both the strawberry and blueberry and both were so good. We also got the fresh cut fries, which were very crispy Great if your in the area for a vacation and biking along the area. We stopped by with our bikes and had a bite too! Loved coming here and will be coming back during our next cottage trip. read more

I got the veggie burger and it was the tastiest, juiciest veggie burger I've had to date, ever! The order arrived in time, hot and with all the toppings and condiments promised on the menu and the pic. Good portion size. The price is perfect. Long lineups, uninterested teenagers behind the cash registers, an even longer wait for the food and then possibly the worst food I've been served in at least ten years. The burger was cold, the size of an orange slice, burnt and tasted awful. Not sure it was even beef. Innisfil's Johnny Burger, a quant, little, Tiny Diner, and I mean tiny, my wife actually had to leave, because she felt claustrophobic, mind you my wife is a bit of a drama queen. Cleanliness of this establishment is adequate, which is to be expected from a diner like this, it's part of the charm of the place. Customer service was fantastic, they were polite and friendly, I had my 6 year old nephew with me, and she was very sweet with him. Now the moment of truth, the food, Fries; were amazing, crunchy on the outside, hot and fluffy on the inside, and lightly salted, they were perfect, the burger on the other hand, one word comes to mind, Generic, if you were expecting life changing, taste bud raving taste, you'll be sadly disappointed. Don't get to turned off, it's still a good burger, just nothing special. There is one thing I do have a huge grievance with, the caramelized onions, they cut them in large square pieces, not thin elongated slices, it throws the taste, way off, and makes them kind of rubbery. Inconsistent is definitely the word here and it's bad more than its good. The steak sandwich among the worst I've tried to eat. After spending some time at the Innisfil Beach Park, we thought we'd have our late lunch at a local restaurant, so we decided to try this joint. What a big mistake! When I placed the order, for a burger, crispy chicken sandwich and onion Rings, I was told 15 minutes wait time. We got our food after over 30 minutes of wait and the burger was cold and dry with no mayo, no lettuce (I did ask for lettuce). Same with chicken sandwich - no mayo, no lettuce. Johnny Burger makes one of the best burgers around. The 1/2 pound Johnny Burger (their specialty) is honestly up there in taste and quality as some of the best burger places in Toronto. When you bite into the burger, you can actually see the spices in the meat, and every burger is homemade. I wouldn't bother with the 1/4 pound burger. It is a frozen and run-of-the-mill patty, and the 1/2 pound shrinks enough that even if you aren't the hungriest, you should be able to finish. I have also tried the chicken souvlaki and it is a good alternate if you are not in the burger mood. The fries are always great, and I believe the oil it is cooked in is trans-fat free, which makes me feel better about devouring the entire meal in about 5 minutes. Everytime I leave this place I'm always satisfied, they cook everything right infront of you! The Johnny burger is the most famous there it's so juicy and you can tell its homemade.
