the last 2 times we've been in and ordered takeout (after having drinks at the bar) it has taken an insane amount of time for wings to be made. Just today my husband went for a beer - the bartender took his glass when there was about an inch left and dumped it out. He ordered wings when he first sat down and it still took 35min. to get food to go. when we first moved to Barrie - the Lockeroom was the place to be - the waitstaff & bartenders made an effort to get to know you and service was always great, now just 2 short years later we'll never be back because of how things have changed. I have been back to the lockerroom a few more times since my last note. On my most recent trip I had the caesar salad and the triple double burger with krinkle cut fries. The salad was solid but the burger had a lot of beef and the cheese just melted like butter on the burger and the condiments of mustard, relish and ketchup really accentuated the taste of the burger.but the star of the meal was the krinkle cut fries. They were crunchy on the outside but pillowy soft on the inside. Of course you can not forget the popcorn which is the nicest way to say hello to a customer. Speaking of hello, the lockeroom is a very comfortable place to hang out to watch hockey or football. Every body is kind and has a big heart. The service is always top notch and the staff truly seems to care about its customers. I really like coming here and can't wait for my next trip. read more

A true sports bar ! Nothing like this exists anymore in Toronto. Sloppy Joes on the Lakeshore could be, but the prices are ridiculous and it is not the hub it used to be. The vibe here is so refreshing. People drinking, laughing, conversing with strangers. A true Canadian take on a proper pub in the UK. It was my first visit and I chatted with the patrons seated near me at the bar. And the servers. Citizens in a good mood, what a concept eh ? As a self described chicken wing expert , the wings here are some of the best I have had in years. Flawless and good value. Draft beer was about $2 cheaper a pint than in The Six which is a relief. What's not to like ? The Lockeroom is a large place, so there are seating options depending on what your visit is aimed to be. Lots of big screens to see the game, don't worry. The menu,customers and staff are delightfully hyphen-free. Justin Trudeau would run out of here screaming if he ever ventured in. Not sure what happened here but sadly disappointed. I used to come here all the time and the food was great. Ordered the Saturday night rib special along with some wings. First of all it took an hour to get our food. And after it came out, it was so dry it was barely edible. Of course you've been waiting for an hour and you're starving so you eat it anyway. Regretfully. Even the french fries were dry. How do you even make french fries dry lol. And something very off-putting about the ribs. The sauce could barely cover the not very pleasant very porky flavor. Anyway I complained, and they didn't even have the courtesy to trim the bill a bit. So after bringing friends here, and bragging about how good their food was. It was rather embarrassing and needless to say I won't be back. read more

Came by for a late night snack. Got wings, fried pickles & calamari. Place was a bit dirty, especially the ground. There was popcorn everywhere, looks like it was from the popcorn machine they had there. Overall food was great. Hope they clean up the place a bit or at least maintain it throughout the night. We went on a Tuesday with .69 wings, and .65 shrimp with a purchase of a tall can of beer. Stopped in on a Sunday rainy evening after having passed by the place so many times. My boyfriend and I decided to try out the nachos. They were loaded up! Definitely hit the spot. Our server was great! Helpful and attentive. She apologized since they had run out of guacamole and we had added some to our order. The nachos were excellent without the guc. If you're a beer fan, this would be a spot worth checking out! Overall, great spot to catch whatever sports you're after. It was Sunday, so football took over. I would give ZERO stars if I could. The service here is disgusting. Last Monday upon entering my friend and I held the door for two guests leaving. While doing so the tall old crabby blonde bartender told us to hurry up and gave a dirty look. When we sat at the bar we were asked what we wanted to drink even before we were given a menu or welcomed. Then when we said give us a few minutes we received another dirty look. Not even two minutes later she came back and said what will it be. Super rude. We decided to walk out. I will also add the bar where we sat at always was dirty from last guests and not cleared until after at which time nothing was sprayed at all. This place has gone way down in service. read more

This place is a gem if you are looking for that small sports pub that feels like Cheers. Everyone is so friendly and it's always busy but somehow we never wait for a seat. The food is not only amazing tasting but amazing prices. Best wings ever and just over a $1 each (minimum 8). I have had poutine, nachos, sweet potato fries, burgers and all amazing. Had a fantastic initial experience at this restaurant so I was so disappointed with my second. Our server, Cassandra, was pretty nice to begin with but over time appeared to just want to end her shift. I asked her for a dipping sauce for my wings and she shut me down saying no these wings don't come with that and just took off. That was very off putting for me. She was more concentrated on socializing with the table across from us instead of doing her job. I doubt I'll ever return here again read more

This is the best pub in Barrie hands down! I come here every week after volleyball and they always give us team wings. They also have daily deals for every day of the week which is really nice. It's not too expensive and you get great food and a lot of it! I recommend this place to anyone looking to get drinks or great food. read more

If you want to hang with friends and have beer and wings this is the place to be. Perfect for the guys. Not as good for the family but you can bring them if you want. They have a strict no minors policy after a certain hour on weekends which is always nice. Over 20 beers on draft with a few craft brews in there. They have a huge horseshoe bar that seats about 30 people but if you want a seat for happy hour you better get here early. Burgers are good and the wings are great! Waitresses always attentive, and there's a few that are easy on the eyes. (I'm sure I'll get flack for that!) also they have over 15 flat screen TVs showing whatever game you want, just ask and they will change the channel. I had heard good things about the Lockeroom so since I am relatively new to Barrie I thought I would check it out. I wanted to see the Carolina- San Francisco NFL game . There are two things you will notice about the Lockeroom as you enter, there are a tons of tables and more than enough tv's to satisfy any sports fan. They had all the nfl games on (I had thought they were just a hockey place, I wonder if they run soccer matches and basketball games?). As for the food, I started with the Caesar salad with chicken , which was larger than I had thought. and had a quart of beer. the salad was quite good and didn't have too much dressing on it. For the main ,I had their triple double burger with cheese and wedge fries. you could tell the burger was barbecued and tasted really good fries were solid as well. it was certainly filling. A very cool thing they have is free popcorn (that can be very addictive) you can grab as much as you want . I'm told their steak sandwich with garlic bread is really good too. The service was on point and efficient. The bartender (young lady) was very pleasant , polite and professional I did not feel rushed as you can be with some places. As for the price point, prices are very reasonable and they have a number of specials during the week . This is a sportsbar that compares well with those great places I have experienced in Vancouver and those of you who have read my previous reviews on sports bars know I very picky about that and what constitutes a great sports bar There is no question this is the best sports bar in Barrie. The football game was a blowout but I certainly had a great time at the Lockeroom and can guarantee that I will be back . Thanks for making me comfortable Lockeroom. read more

Amazing breaded chicken wings that won't disappoint you and leave you coming back for more. You will crave these songs for DAYS. 100% worth it.
