Everything in the store was so nice, unique and tasteful. The owner however was brash and a little rude. When we were asking questions about products in the store she seemed really annoyed that we were bothering her and gave a vibe that she just wanted us to leave. Was kind of a bummer because we were prepared to drop a bunch of money on easter gifts for family. We still bought a few small things. We are clean cut adults and I think we're pretty nice humans in general so maybe we caught her on an off day. We both walked out and kind of were like, that was weird. Lovely little shop where you can find some unique gifts for others. I found myself a little cast iron teapot that was 50% and still $20. I bought it anyways because I liked how it looked and it is now sitting on my dresser in my room as a decoration. I am sure it may be used practically as well however it is pretty small and I have yet to try it. They also have a variety of air plants that I have bought in the past. This little shop is very unassuming from the looks of it. I was drawn in by the hanging hand dipped candles. Then brought in deeper by the amazing apothecary smells of the fresh essential oils and bath products they make in house. I was skeptical cause well... most shops in cute beach towns are over priced. But I was pleasantly surprised to find great value and great products in this shop. I purchased a dry brush, a large body balm (because it was a airy glossy dream for my dry legs), two pairs hand dipped candles in this beautiful brown and a bar of their signature soap because the sales girl recommended it as shampoo. My autistic son came in after seeing bags displayed outside that he wanted. We found a plethora of options in the back. He carries army men with him wherever he goes and we have hundreds of men and different sets at home. He needed so much time to decide on a bag since he was going through his mental catalogue of which set could fit in which pocket. Two people behind the register treated us with such kindness and patience the entire time. Despite being busy they even took some bags down to show him strap functions and the pockets they had. The bags were only $20 and despite it not being a large sale they saw the importance in his eyes and really helped him. It felt nice not to be rushed or given dirty looks which is something we're very used to. We've been to this store many times and always enjoy the soaps, kitchenware, and speciality products inside. Walked in here last night to buy some items for ourselves and some gifts. They have fantastic stuff. However, about 3 minutes after we walked in they lost their electricity. So instead of helping us decide on what we wanted, let us buy them. They decided we should leave because they are closing. What happened to the way people use to buy things???? With CASH!!!! Or the not so old fashioned way of not contacting the credit card company immediately??? And getting an imprint of the card?? This service or lack of it was not appreciated. That was a sale lost!! Awesome little shop! Walked in here one afternoon while taking a day trip to Greenport and was so enamored with all the lovely products they had to offer! Shells, signs, plants, pictures, oh my! Most of the items are handcrafted and completely unique. The shop is quaint and does not have the pretentious feel that many shops in the area give off. The tasteful variety of home accessories are to die for! We picked up a couple hanging glass pods with airplants inside for our windows! The gentleman behind the counter was very friendly and even offered up suggestions for where we could eat lunch. Total gem, will definitely be back for more decorating! read more
