You know when you come to a store like this, it's gonna be Work…read more There's gonna be a bunch of stuff everywhere and you're gonna have to sort your way through to figure out all the mess. But isn't that the fun part? HomeSense has become the stop we make before going to the movies. It's where my friend and I can catch up while we shop for pointless things that we don't need for our home, but we help each other rationalize it anyway before we have to sit in silence and pay attention. This is what a mom's night out is and we love it. This visit did not disappoint, as my friend picked up outdoor pillows for her house and I got us movie snacks. You could get lost in the store. I almost walked away with a $30 Kate Spade toaster, but knew it probably would've ended in divorce because who has a space for that. Either way I look forward to these trips, not only to catch up with my friend who I don't get to see very often, but I usually find something for a great value here. Don't sleep on the store. You're sure to find some buried treasure.

First of all-- The plaza looks like the year 1992 and I love it. So win for nostalgia sake. This Homegoods was big, clean, organized. Had a really good clearance section. I ended up finding this really great candle that I own several of for 5 dollars- it's an artisan candle so typically on their official website they go for about 30 plus shipping. Got some things for the dog. Overall pretty great Homegoods, I'd check it out again.

They have a lot of cute affordable decor but the furniture itself seems its cousins with IKEA. (Not great quality in case you don't get the reference) I'd come back for decor but nothing else. This is a sister store to TJMax so you'll see some duplicates and be sure to check the tags to see what's made for that store and what's actual overstock from somewhere else.

If you certainly do the heavy lifting and bring the large items home yourself but they also contract out to a third party that you can arrange for pick up and delivery too. This store has beautiful mirrors and wall art too. It's easier to find multiple pieces of things here, unlike homegoods where you'll find only one. So things like matching chairs, wall art, mirrors, lamps that you need multiples of, this is where to go.

It took over ye old Toys R Us location in Carle Place so you know the ceilings are high. For such a big place, the aisles could have been wider, especially considering they opened during the pandemic where we all need s p a c e. However, they have a lot of great things and if the checkout line wasn't long (everyone is so excited about this new place so they were all here), I probably would have chucked a few things in the basket to check out. Granted I just made an expensive laptop purchase so I'm grateful I didn't check out things here to give my wallet a little breather. It's definitely one of the go-to places I will check when needing homewares.
