There are so many books and different sections to look through, I could easily spend hours here browsing. There is something really cool about meandering around and discovering new books through their colorful, interesting covers. Some just call out "read me"... While B&N is nowhere near as cool as The Strand, and never quite as cozy as once was Borders (rest in peace), it certainly is organized well, clean, bright and inviting. There weren't a lot of other customers around when we were there this evening, so it was pretty quiet and relaxed. My husband and I enjoyed strolling the store, checking out the books we randomly came across. We also enjoyed the cafe where we sat and had coffee and split a dessert. It was a nice place to spend a chilly evening after dinner for a bit. We reminisced about how we used to take our daughter to the bookstore all the time when she was small... remember those days? If you need to go to a local bookstore and pick up something to read, you really don't have much choice anymore... so it's good to know Barnes and Nobles is well kept and pleasant.
