The selection of clothing is varied, mostly with natural fibers, the scarves and jewelry are ethnic and stylish, again with unusual color combinations and light wood for example. The sales are terrific and bring me into the shop, and then I end up purchasing items that are truly lovely on me-- They fit well and are not what you would see in Macy's, where I no longer shop. The shop is comfortably stuffed, and the staff, Carol and Sydney, are truthful and helpful. They want you to be happy with your purchases; they want the items to reflect you. That is their goal. This shop is truly a gem, and not to be missed. Lastly, if I needed a lovely gift for a birthday, for example, this would be my go-to place. Today I bought 7 items, and I can't wait to go back!

Winning!

I wasn't expecting much as I don't usually shop in boutiques but I was pleasantly surprised. I feel like boutiques often have high prices and stupid selection. This store had reasonable prices and several cute things. I ended up getting a cotton dress. They had a sale that day too...it was 10 or 20% off everything! I think I paid $35 max. I would stop in here again while in Greenport.

I'm not fussy, I wear Levi's RL and Izod so I'm not cheap on clothing but this stuff was unimpressive. Maybe I wouldn't be so disappointed if the service was a little better.

So, naturally, when in Greenport, I was basically on an all day high. Walking up and down the main street, there are a few little (and big) vintage and antique shops, but The Times Vintage was by far the coolest. It literally feels like you are stepping back in time a few decades (photos uploaded for proof). There's a section in the back that feels like a movie set from the 50s, except you can touch and shop. Ideal dream store basically. I almost immediately found a bag I loved and I am very rarely as decisive as I was when I proudly declared that I would be getting it. Perfect summer staple that I've been on the hunt for for awhile. I'm so happy I found it second hand! I can finally delete the Banana Republic and Jcrew versions I've had saved. They have everything from records to clothes to houseware, all very well curated and decently priced. Very much worth a visit.
