My wife and I had dinner at The Waterfront this evening with our daughter and her family. We arrived around 4:30 PM basically because my wife and I are old farts and like to eat early. The meal began with appetizers, the spinach artichoke dip and the corn bread brûlée, both of which were excellent. Before the appetizers came out our waiter took our entree orders. My wife, who is a light eater, ordered the baked cheese shrimp scampi as her entree. I don't frequently go to a restaurant which has osso buco as an offering, so I jumped on that. The osso buco is $42 dollars and I was surprised to learn that it doesn't include a side salad or soup, especially when there are other entrees for $28 which do include those choices. My son in law ordered the peach chicken and requested his side be the bang bang Brussels sprouts. He was told at 4:50 PM there weren't enough Brussels sprouts left for him to have some. Given the time of day, this was surprising. Even if maybe they were popular at lunch, this was poor planning on the chef's part. When we dine out, which is often, we expect to be able to finish our appetizers before the main dishes show up, but that didn't happen at The Waterfront. I won't speak for my daughter's family, but I will comment on my wife's and my meals. The baked cheese shrimp scampi had way too much cheese. Now those are words I thought I would never speak, but in this case it applies. The shrimp were on the smaller size, I guess that's why they call them shrimp, and the cheese was overload. As I might have given you the impression above, I love osso buco and was sitting there salivating at the thought of enjoying some. The osso buco I was served was disappointing. Portions of it fell off the bone and other portions didn't. The taste was good, but when you're expecting meat to essentially melt in your mouth, and parts of it were chewy and dry, it certainly doesn't meet expectations. Then, while we were still eating, and I had food remaining on my plate that I intended to finish eating, here comes the waiter to close the check out. What's with that? Over all, The Waterfront is not a restaurant we would choose to revisit. read more

We ate here on 9/29/25. We were staying on property so it was very handy. We asked to be seated outside overlooking the water. There were gnats and a very cute kitten named Garette. Neither was very obtrusive. Our waiter was Benjamin. He was so kind and congenial. Even friendly. Our order was relatively simple...onion rings and a chopped sirloin dinner. Benjamin was so good about the timing of our app, salad and entree. He checked with us often enough to be helpful but not a nag. The onion rings were very good with a relatively light coating. I had read that the wedge salad was delicious, and those reviewers were right! The chopped sirloin was fantastic and huge (16 oz.). It was probably done a little past medium, but it was still very flavorful. The mashed potatoes were amazing! Skin on, creamy and delicious. We were so glad we shared the app and the entree so we could get a piece of the lemon berry cake to eat back in our room! The tartness of the lemon with the sweetness of the strawberry sauce was the perfect way to cap off the evening! We were very happy with our experience. This is our second time visiting, each time it's been superb! Good service, seated right away! If you can and it's not raining grab a table to get a view of the lake. The food was good, we shared 3 flatbreads as a family of 4 and it was more than enough, we also shared the onion ring appetizer. The bang bang Brussels sprouts is actually buffalo sauce. The mushroom ravioli was expensive for only getting three raviolis and not the greatest taste. Their 14 oz margarita flights were only 10-12 ounces. The jambalaya crepe was crap. It looked so good very disappointing. The prime rib was AMAZING, the lobster it was the lobster mac & cheese was more like Alfredo but also fire. Honestly the best part was the side salad. This has always been our favorite place for dinner and I live giving it high reviews but. .... We went there for dinner a few months ago and my chicken Alfredo was so salty I could hardly eat it, hindsight with the prices that they are I should of sent it back but I don't like doing that. Food is great and all the servers and hosts are amazing, the only problem I had is one server in particular. Will never seems like he's in a good mood, a terrible one in fact. He seems like he doesn't want to be there. we could hear him yelling at the cooks and other servers in the kitchen from our table on the deck. He gets so close the the girls too. Like, face to face close. They look so uncomfortable and it makes me uncomfortable too. We come to Bracco and Water Front often, and we always enjoy ourselves, but he just makes us so uncomfortable when he's our server. The last time my family and I were at Bracco, Will was our server. It was just us and 3 other tables at the time. We sat there for 20 minutes for him to come to our table. While he was taking our order my wife asked if we could all have waters, and Will just rolled his eyes and walked away. Our experience with any other server is amazin, every single time. We ended up at the Waterfront after Bracco's told us there was an extended wait. Mistake. We should've waited for Bracco's. We were told upon arrival that the Waterfront was short staffed. We understand this is an issue across the service industry, and we did wait a great deal of time for our food to come. Granted, we had a very large table. But we couldn't even get our waters refilled. The waitress was sweet and nice with every encounter with us. She got our dressings, sauces and extras we asked for once our food finally came. The two star review is because the food was not at all what you'd expect from this nice of a place, and for the insane price you're paying for it. The caesar salad was more than sad, it was downright disappointing. The portion of the entire salad was the same size as a $5 side salad. The chicken was $8 extra and didn't even come on the salad. The chicken alfredo pasta bake had zero flavor. The broccoli wasn't cooked and the dish was barely hot. Pizza was lackluster. Spinach dip and onion rings were good. Overall, just a disappointing experience. We will not be returning here or recommending it to people. read more

In Boji for the weekend to see some summer theatre. Met friends here for an early lunch. The food was ALL delicious, we think it's some of the best food in this area. Great menu selections. Not pictured but also good: chicken salad sandwich, tomato-basil soup and burger. Everyone loved their choices. View was amazing and the covered patio is breezy and just a lovely spot. I would have a 5 stars rating if our second experience was the same as the first. First was just 3 of us and it was amazing, food was amazing, service was amazing, and over all great food. The next night we went we were seated out side and the flies were AWFUL. They were all over the table, silverware, glasses, and us. We finally asked to have the fans on and that helped until the food came. Our orders were a little messed up but we were a party of 7, so that's a little understandable. For pizzas we got the Beach Bum (our favorite), The Godfather (similar to margherita style) and the pepperoni. We got two smalls and a large, all look like flatbreads when they come out but definitely order accordingly if you are hungry. Between 3 adults and a toddler we ate the three pizzas but were full.
