I've been here, including dragging Gayle once in the early AM. This is also where our family gathered with a local pastor to plan the memorial service for our Mother. For a community gathering place like Bud's, the food is almost an afterthought, although I've always appreciated a good breakfast. And if you look closely against the North outside wall, you'll see my growing up nickname scratched in. That's where paperboys (like me at the time) waited within a now gone covered stairway for Mike Reynold's Thunderbird to appear and issue copies of the Des Moines Register for delivery.
