She then came to me and asked how she could help me. I told her I need my watch band adjusted so I could wear it. Immediately snotty she said, "WE DON'T DO THAT HERE!" She then sent me down the street to a real personable jeweler with a better attitude. She either didn't know how to adjust watch bands, or she was profiling me thinking I couldn't afford it and I was willing to pay big money for that perfect fit. I will never recommend anyone to go there if they like to be treated like a beggar. Shame on her for profiling and acting like she was better. What makes this even worse is I specifically asked what the return policy was and was told it was 10 days. Their exchange policy is 10 days - they have ZERO return policy. The sales rep lied. Guys - if you are buying an engagement ring, you better be damned sure she is going to say yes.
