We hired Jeremy for a board dinner for our company. I organized the event so I worked with Jeremy on the menu, scheduling and price. Unfortunately, I wasn't in attendance but the following day these are the words I heard, "amazing food", "such a treat", "wonderful food", and "best duck confit I've ever had!" For Christmas we gave our adult kids a dining experience that included assisting a gourmet chef in the preparation of dinner and then enjoying the fruits of the labor. We had not met Jeremy before but reviews read convinced us that he could do what we were looking for. And that he did! He suggested we work with appetizers to provide variety and also give each of us a hand in the making. So we had a lot of work stations in motion and Jeremy coordinated all and still focused on his specialty for the evening, lamb chops. All in all, the food was great and Jeremy was easy and fun to work with. And while we were finishing our meal, he was in the kitchen cleaning up....totally unexpected. Hired Jeremy for a private anniversary dinner at our house...found his contact information on yelp, sent him a message, and got a reply within 10 minutes. We traded a few emails back and forth, hopped on a 5 minute phone call to finalize the menu, and that was that. He came over about 1.5 hours early to prep the dinner, which included 6 amazing courses. By the end of dinner, we were both stuffed. Our menu included tuna tartare, tomato bisque soup with grilled cheese croutons, jumbo prawns with risotto, lamb chops, and homemade cheesecake. He's also very reasonably priced. We just got back from a weekend getaway where we celebrated my mother in law's 70th birthday. The whole weekend was a surprise and we scheduled Jeremy to make a special dinner for her birthday night. It was THE MOST INCREDIBLE experience we have ever had. Jeremy was COVID- conscious and extremely organized. He was easy to communicate details with and always responsive. We hosted a holiday party for my wife's small business company, with about 20 people, and hired Jeremy to come to our house and provide the meal. Jeremy was a total pro -- came to our house about an hour before guests arrived armed with bags of groceries, and by the time the first guests arrived, there was a beautiful tray of cut vegetables with fresh hummus, and trays of crostini with tomato jam and seared steak. The tomato jam was especially amazing. We chose to have dinner served family style, with sliced pork chops with a mediterranean tapenade over a bed of creamed potatoes, and an incredible salad of sauteed broccoli and asparagus, olives, artichoke hearts, ricotta cheese, and arugula, which was artfully arranged on a large platter for a beautiful presentation. We asked Jeremy to accommodate a vegan guest while also providing a vegetarian option for others, so he prepared another large tray of roasted cauliflower over an eggplant puree, and plated a salad without the ricotta cheese for our vegan guest. Even though we were only planning on a handful of people opting for the vegetarian option, Jeremy cooked enough so that there was plenty for all of the guests to have some of both the meat and the cauliflower, since both tasted delicious. Dessert was chocolate cake with a molten center, freshly whipped cream, and a salted caramel sauce drizzled over the top. Simple, but amazing. Everyone commented on how delicious everything was, and you could tell with everyone cleaning their plate. It was fun to watch Jeremy and his assistant efficiently prepare a meal for a crowd, and then quietly clean up in the background while guests enjoyed themselves without having to worry about doing dishes. If I was going to nitpick, the only thing I would have wanted different is the steak on the crostini to have been sliced a little thinner and smaller to make it easier to eat, but the flavor was delicious, and we went through a couple of trays of them, so everyone enjoyed them. We wouldn't hesitate to hire Jeremy again -- probably next year's holiday party! read more
