I attended an event where Fresh & Quick was catering and I must say, I was pretty happy with the service, food, and flavors we received. The catering staff showed up at a timely fashion and set everything up for us just in time for dinner. It was "buffet" style for the most part, except for the worker who was cutting the meat. We were also using real silverware which enhanced the whole feel of this event. They had everything from chicken to beef to mashed potatoes to pasta to assorted vegetables to salad and more! My favorite was the beef with mashed potatoes and gravy along with the assorted vegetables. There was plenty of food for the whole party and we were even able to get seconds! They also provided a cake for us which they cut and served themselves. The cake was pretty light and not dry at all! It was a great way to end the meal. My group was looking around places for catering and this one popped up on our searches. After seeing the menu options and choices (we have a Gluten intolerant person), we contacted Fresh & Quick and we met up in person to go over the menu options. Bill informed us of which options were Gluten Free and we were able to draft a menu for that. Throughout the entire process, Bill and Frank kept me informed on what was going on and were extremely helpful with our budget and our wants. Bill and Frank are very understanding and they will WORK WITH YOU. If your money is a bit tighter, they will come up with creative ideas to appeal to everyone. Our event occurred last night and Frank showed up with his Chef on time and helped setup the entire event. They were very professional and even helped bussed our dishes as we were nearing the end of our dinner. The food was superb and extremely delicious. Everyone commented on how Frank and his crew were absolutely professional and created delicious food. The cake design was so popular, everyone took pictures of it. Fresh and Quick did a party of 60 for us. The whole process was super easy. They even had some gluten free bread for our Ciliac people. All I did was let them in and point to the table. They even set up my themed Food and gluten free labels without my asking. The food had a nice display and the servers Jessica and Shea walk on their toes serving and clearing. When I told them we had a few folks that were coming late they offered to make to go plates for them. We chose prime rib, chicken marsala with garlic mashed potatoes , green salad , and fruit salad. You absolutely get what you pay for. I was planning a wedding reception on a very tight budget and Fresh and Quick met my budget. I was not looking for anything way over-the-top or uber upscale; their food fit the bill and I had a buffet with eight items for about $21 per person including the tax and gratuity. These folks catered our wedding reception at the Old Sugar Mill in Clarksburg. I received a number of quotes from different caterers and each place with the exception of Fresh and Quick catering had surcharge after surcharge after surcharge for the most unbelievable items. One local catering company even had an "administrative charge." Steve called me back promptly after I left messages and everything I asked for was something they were able to work with me on. Alina and the rest of the staff were more than accommodating. We had a wedding that needed to be planned in the matter of 2 1/2 months because that was when my brother n' law received his "leave" from the military. From start to finish Alina kept the lines of communication open and easy. Just like the name it was Very Fresh and super Quick. The food was excellent, and I received plenty of food to feed my guests (and leftovers for myself for a few days!). The person delivering the food arrived about 10 minutes early, which is wonderful! Fresh and Quick - specifically Alina helped us to create the perfect buffet for our wedding on September 28, 2013 within our budget. Fresh and Quick was the only place we found that had a staffed buffet, but whose staff pay was not included in the charge of the catering - they are fabulous! The food was SO good, I know there were a lot of items that were completely GONE at the end of the night. Alina was SO helpful and understanding, even after I made SO many changes at the last minute. She was always available to answer my many questions and to give me feedback and suggestions based on her experience. Steve was also very helpful in the beginning of the process and was always willing to call me back, since we played "phone tag" most of the time. :) Alina was not able to be at my wedding to oversee the catering, but the people she sent were also amazing and so friendly and nice! Just used them for our recent weddings. They were sort of hard to get in contact with and sometimes took a while to get a response back. I'm it was due to it being the start if wedding season. Other than that they are great. We were very pleased with the tasting as well as the taste of food. Had Fresh and Quick catering cater my 60th Birthday party for 100 people. For the amount we paid 1000.00 the food was terrible. Our menu selection was 2 trays of Swedish meatballs, 2 trays of Chicken skewers, 2 Fresh fruit platters, 2 Vegetable trays, 1 tray of meat pinwheels, 1 tray of vegetable pinwheels and 2 pasta salads. Our meat and vegetable pinwheels were filled with an abundance of alfalfa sprouts hardly any meat in the meat pinwheel tray at all. 90% of them got tossed as no one ate them. Two trays of Swedish meatballs were in one half of a chafing dish, the stuffed mushrooms in the other half and were drowned in sauce and tiny mushrooms as well. The chicken skewers had no color where we had to add our own teriyaki sauce to add flavor. We were told we would have an attendant to stay to check on the food. No one stayed at all. Very disappointed for the price we paid. Could of done better purchasing from Costco for the amount of food and price we paid. Totally unsatisfied. Especially after reading other reviews that gave high review ratings. Bad all the way around. read more

They should sample some of the food before serving, potatoes had not been washed before and were not fully cooked, the meats were overcooked. If someone is paying a professional to take on a task so they do not have to worry about that part of a function it should be spot on, your meal should be prepared correctly. read more

I had Fresh and Quick cater my husbands 60th birthday party which had about 125 people in attendance. This is the second time I had used them and Steve as before was wonderful to work with and the cost is so very affordable. I also worked with Carly on the organizing end of things and she was great as well. Alina and Shelby were the two staff people that worked the party. They were so professional and went above and beyond in helping us in cutting and placing the cake out so people could help themselves. (the cake was not provided by them so I really appreciated this) Alina took the lead and was very kind, professional and did everything I asked her to do when I needed assistance with anything. We had the Super Tri Combo which everyone loved. However, this time around the chicken was a tad on the dry side and the ribs could have been a little more tender. When I have ribs at a function like this I like them to be "falling off the bone" tender otherwise they are difficult to eat. The tri-tip was the best of the three for the evening. It was carved at the buffet table which made it especially nice. I would give 5 stars for professionalism, service and affordability but couldn't do the full five stars for the food this time around. read more
