thanks to the IG targeting, i got sucked into the tuesday happy hour specials here! Its truly a mixed review. 1. $5 pizza on happy hour specials are good and a must get. to be honest. its a thin crust bar pie, but seasoned well. its also big for the price. 2. beer selection for $5 on the happy hour were maybe 5 beers that are domestic or lighter imported beer. not a big selection at all, but for $5 i was content. they also have a few wines, which i didnt get, but from what i saw it was whites only. 3. its too hot in here. this is why they lost 2 stars. it was basically unbearable in here. they had 1 AC up in the window in the front, and one standing fan. we were all very sweaty. and to be honest, it was pretty gross. this would make me steer away from coming back again because i was uncomfortable. staff was nice. the decor is dark and nautical, with a splash of JC history throughout. hope they can figure out the AC issue, because id like to come back because it has so much potential.

Nice staff, the happy hour pizza was delicious and the beers were nice too. Nice ambiance and decor as well. The Tuesdays happy hour are truly worth it.

My second time here and a first for my friends We started with the crudo and the whipped ricotta and the carpaccio for me the whipped ricotta was amazing with the date syrup and the olive oil and the carrots gave it a perfect crunch I hope they never change it I had the Lumache omg what can I say but it was simply amazing so delicious my friend had the Mafaldine another amazing dish it had a smoky taste to it that was so yummy and my other friend had the special dish of the day which was the black bass fish she loved it We also tried the tiramisu which was a little dry for my taste but we also tried the Lemon Olive Oil Cake which in my opinion should be called Limoncello Cake because it has a very profound taste of lemon which reminds me of limoncello lol it was super moist and delicious a must try! Definitely will be coming back!

The scallion pancake was a bit small but it was super delicious. The chicken katsu had an interesting tangy flavor and was nice and crispy. Service (4/5): Top notch service with super friendly staff. Really friendly waitress who was helpful and great! Only issue we had was we were asked if we wanted a bread refill for the Whipped Ricotta and we didn't know it's cost $5 which surprised us a bit on the check. Ambiance (5/5): Nice interior ambiance and super well designed restaurant. We walked by many times and got drawn by the beautiful interior which is why we came. Classy and nice vibe.

My prior reviews are under MP. When we first came into the Feathered Fox, the atmosphere appeared to have a much more sexy deeper color vibe, than previous years. Today, Damian was our wonderful server. Here it begins with Cocktails! 18.00 each: - Friend in the Meadow w/ Titos (Birdie glass with feathers). It had a lovely, welcoming and enjoyable sweetness. - Pineapple Grill with Casamigos Meczal. Tasted exactly like a mildly grilled sweet pineapple with suddenly a Kick! Entree Time! I ordered the Wagyu Steak and Scrambled Eggs $38.00. The steak was off the charts delicious. A side of lightly seasoned Foxy Fries accompanied the meal. All the items were prepared and seasoned beautifully. My Bf ordered the French Toast $19.00. It was made out of Chocolate Babka with maple infused syrup. He really enjoyed it. Dessert Finale! We shared a super delicious Lemon Olive Oil Cake $14.00. Toasted Meringue topped the cake. The cake was dense, but still moist and Very Lemony. Highly Recommend!!!! All throughout our meal, someone was coming around filling our water glasses. Definitely recommend The Feathered Fox! A large parking lot is available.

Would rate an overall solid 4.5 but since not available gets a 5 . We can't wait to go back with family/friends or just by ourselves to try the porterhouse next. Got diverted to Jersey City while searching for a restaurant for anniversary date night and ran across the Feathered Fox, and we were blown away. Damian did a great job taking care of us all night , and manager checked-in on our dining experience which was appreciated. Great in house signature cocktail selection. We loved every drink we had. Had the calamari for a starter. Too much breading for our paritcular taste, but can stand alone without the dipping sauce. Overall 7/10. We ordered the Ribeye which was the star of the show 10/10. Perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned, absolutely delicious. We ordered sauces to go with the steak but did not need it at all. Also ordered: * Scallops - Good sized scallops. We would have preferred a better sear, but was still good. Comes on a bed of delicious leeks and spaetzle. * Sides of mushrooms and Brussels sprouts. Desserts were delicious. Ordered the black out cake, scoop of apple cider, and to-go carrot cake.

The drinks were good and the food was absolutely amazing. I had the steak tacos and flautas as appetizer and I would definitely come back I'm doing 4 stars though because our server was very argumentative and made our experience a little uncomfortable. The drinks took a long time to come and he took very long time to come to our table even for entrees and desserts. I first order El jefe and it was alright didn't impress me but it wasn't bad. My problem and disappointment came when I order a coconut Mezcalita with no agave. The first mezcalita was AMAZING. I ordered another one and just asked the server to switch the black salt for tajin. The server took the drink back 3 times and brought the same drink each time. I'm a bartender, the drink was regular tequila and not mezcal. The third time they pour some mezcal on it but did not even shake it. Also I knew it was the same drink because I licked some of the tajin and you can see it was the same cup. What really made me feel offended is the fact that I told him I know my drinks and he had the audacity to tell me "after too many drinks you won't differentiate the taste" now this was really offensive because I am a bartender and this was only my 3rd drink. I ended up asking a manager and he solved the problem. Other than this experience I would definitely return. I recommend coming I think is worth it and the food was absolutely amazing. El queso fundido was great , the regular guac lacked flavor but it was good and the tortillas felt homemade. Great desserts

Meximodo major positives: ambiance, lighting, decor, and vibes…read more The service was lacking BUT I did go on Cinco de Mayo so I'm NOT going to harp on them too much for it. It's a busy day. Though we had long waits, everyone was still kind and helpful. Food wise, Meximodo is truthfully mid. I ordered the enchiladas and the red sauce that came with it was uninspiring. The tacos were better. The pricing at Meximodo is wild for the flavors and portions you get. Yeah the taco board looks a lot, but that's 9 tacos and a side of your choice for $59. You come to Meximodo for a fun pre-game before a night out with your friends or for a first date.
