Buffalo wrap

The wife and I are up in Jersey seeing the sites and we were told by Hotel staff that Dorrian's was a good place to eat and have a drink so we went walking. It was close to the hotel and in a safe area. The drinks were a good start and the meal was great! The wife had a homemade chicken pot pie which looked huge but turned out very light so she almost finished it. Said it was 5 star! I had a buffalo chicken wrap which was also very good. We were there about 4:30 pm so the place was not crowded at all and Will did an excellent job waiting on us and keeping us happy. The place was pleasantly decorated and probably got busy and hopping later in the evening. If it was down from where we are from we would go there often..

We got to try the food from Dorrian's while attending the comedy show they host. It's huge restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating, a large bar , plenty of space. The menu consists lots of beer, wine, mocktails, cocktails, burgers, pizza and few more variety of items. The menu seemed little pricey to me. I ordered the nachos with beef chili for appetizer. It was such a well made dish. Lots of guacamole, sour cream, jalapeño on top soup delicious beef chili. I got the Rueben for entree that wasn't too impressive to me. The sandwich was pretty dry, no real sauce in it. Pastrami was dry and hard, almost felt like they were crispy bacon strips. I got the virgin margarita that was very sour, the lemon flavor overpowered the whole drink. Probably virgin mojito would have been a better choice. Our servers were wonderful, did a fantastic service, packed our leftovers at the end. Food came out pretty fast. Overall a nice place for a good meal.

This location of Dorrian's Red Hand is a great spot to get bar food. The bar area looked nice and plenty of seating it seemed. I did not sit in the restaurant to enjoy my food. I did take out instead. I got a grilled chicken sandwich with fries. I was pleasantly surprised on how good this sandwhich was. My waitress who took my order was nice. It also looks like this location has comedy shows. There is a private room I saw with posters up of the upcoming shows.

Great spot to find some great American/Irish food! We got a table right when the restaurant opened, but they still let us in anyways! Our server was so kind and accommodating! The interior is well decorated and is very stylish. What I would recommend is the Garlic Parm Wings, The Shepards Pie, and the Fried Calamari (very crispy!!!)

Nice place for drinks after work. Service was decent. No complains, but nothing outstanding. Food & drinks were good. 4 stars because we enjoyed our time here

This place was packed on a Wednesday. It might be because there's a lot of corporate offices in the same building. The vibe is cool. They even have a jukebox here! It's a look title pricey but still a good time!

Great neighborhood bar, that also has comedy shows. Wings were phenomenal and the quesadilla were a perfect size (forgot to take pic).

We were walking to Target and noticed this bar. We sat outside in the summer and it was really nice in the evening. We were quickly seated. Our order was also taken very quickly. Our waiter was very nice and did his job very well. I ordered the pastrami sandwich. It wasn't huge, it was a nice size, like you might make at home. I didn't taste the jalapeño inside. I honestly don't even know if they put any in, but I imagine they go light because of the clientele. So I would feel comfortable recommending this to my friends who avoid spicy food. I wouldn't order this again. The flavor wasn't on par with what is in Manhattan. It was ok though, just not my idea of how good pastrami tastes. My wife ordered Buffalo chicken wrap and she enjoyed it, but she asked for extra bleu cheese. She said it didn't have enough inside. She said she would order it again. The French fries were very basic, in a great way. They were tasty and normal fries. Similar to McDonald's fries, just a different oil taste. I don't think I'd return. The food was good, in a work lunch kind of feel. Not something I'd look forward to for dinner. I don't really drink much anymore, but it seems like this would be a great place for drinks and good food By the way, I saw some Yelpers complain about the service. I had a server named Nicholas and he was awesome. Consider requesting him if you are concerned about service.

Laugh Tour stage

We came on a Saturday night for Laugh Tour which was a lot of fun! Even if the food wasn't great I still would've had a great time but luckily the food was enjoyable. The Big Wave beer was okay, but my mojito was barely drinkable, it was so bitter for some reason? And not sweet enough. We shared a Spinach and artichoke dip - the dip itself was great! The tortilla chips were slightly stale but not a huge deal. I really enjoyed both the Shepherds pie and chicken pot pie. The ultimate comfort foods! The shepherds pie had fluffy potato on top of ground beef, tomato, peas... and the chicken pot pie crust was chefs kiss. The filling had great flavor too.

Service was excellent. Food was delicious. Drinks were good. It seemed pretty slow at the restaurant so ambiance was chill. Looking forward to the comedy show at 9.

Tucked into the Financial District, this spot blends old New York history with some of the best cocktails in the city--and it's easy to see why it's been named "World's Best Bar" more than once. The name itself has a wild backstory, inspired by a notorious 19th-century Irish-American gang from Five Points. It adds a layer of character to the place, but what really keeps people coming back is the atmosphere and the drinks. The space is split into two levels: a two lively, sawdust-floored Taprooms downstairs and a more refined Parlor upstairs if you're in the mood for a quieter, cocktail-focused experience. Drinks are the real highlight here. The Irish Coffee is widely considered one of the best in the world--rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced with whiskey, coffee, and fresh cream. They also get creative with variations like a frozen version and even an Irish Coffee martini. If you want something different, the "Act Naturally" is a standout, mixing Irish whiskey with Guinness and fig in a way that works. Food is just as impressive for a bar. The lobster deviled eggs (topped with caviar) are a must-try, and the menu leans into elevated comfort food. Overall, The Dead Rabbit nails the balance between historic charm and modern cocktail excellence. The D.R. is one of those places that is never boring and consistently delivers.

We had the honor of meeting Paul who shared with us some of the amazing stories that have taken place at O'Hara's and the book of memories is an absolute treasure. The people that have walked in and found refuge during the most difficult of times and then to come back and celebrate the wins of those heroes. Ugh. Speechless. This place embodies what I envisioned as the strength that we witnessed all those years ago. I could go on and on. There are a couple entrances. We didn't realize this until we left. We were at the bar at the upper level and it was a great environment for rooting on your football team. I got the Reuben and it's made with corned beef. Delicious! Before we left we purchased shirts to support the Tunnel to Towers foundation. We didn't know what to expect with all the crazy news about NYC but this bar was full of red blooded Americans. We'll be back.

This makes it a tourist destination but you'll also find locals enjoying a pint and a burger. I've visited twice and both times had the burger salad. It was good. I've definitely had better burgers in NYC but the vibe and service here stands out. It's your typical NYC Irish pub - you'll find a lot of them. But it's anything but typical. First responder badges cover the walls and you can just feel the spirit of downtown NY around you. On a recent visit, I learned the owner has a giant photo album of photos and news clippings from 9-11 recovery efforts and clean up. The people at the table next to me were from Toronto and asked to see it. I glanced over at their table, not realizing at first what it was, and emotions swept over me when I saw the photo of the towers. "Wow," I said softly and then apologized for intruding. They invited me to look on with them but I couldn't ... (I still haven't been to the museum yet, either.) O'Hara's is a must-visit for locals or tourists. It's also a super convenient meeting spot for a quick business lunch, affordable burgers and sandwiches or a happy hour beer after work. I know I'll be back many times.
