My friend is allergic to dairy so I went and tried their cheeses and really enjoyed them. I decided to order them for my friend in Texas to have them shipped but the order was marked as delivered and was not. The next day UPS found the package to drop it off at her house after finding it outside another apartment. On our recent visit to Paso Robles, I had ran into this place on Yelp and was very curious to check this place out. They're located in what seems like a new food hall including a few new other businesses. They're a very small shop, but they are packing with tons of awesome vegan cheese! I ended up taking home four different vegan cheeses to try at home and share with my vegan friends. I was super impressed with how they were able to capture the taste and the consistent of cheese with using only vegan products. We came here on our way to Morro Bay and it was a perfect stop for lunch especially in light of covid. They were able to customize my sandwich with the cheeses, proteins, and greens just how I wanted it - and it turned out simply delicious! I had the Chickpea protein paired with Provolone, Pepper Jack, fresh Cucumbers, and their Aioli, which brought all the flavors together perfectly. Whoa, I found a new favorite in Paso Robles! The Vreamery is located inside the Paso Market Walk Public Market which itself is a fun stop in the area (free wifi, outside seating). They also sell their products at farmers markets and local shops. My sister and I split the Peaceful Piglet panini and absolutely loved it. I got a sampler back of their cashew spreadable varietals and a couple 'by the ounce' cheeses to try out - smoked gouda and truffle brie. I tried the Caprese. It was delicious but I don't know if I would call it "grilled cheese". Now we'll have to go back to try another kind! I typically stay away from anything vegan but decided to try this place. The reason isn't relevant here so most importantly, I'm really glad I gave it a try! The young lady at the counter patiently answered all my questions and I ended up buying the balsamic cashew cream, and a little sampler of smoked gouda, truffle something, and classic blue to take home in a cooler. All were great. The cashew cream is really similar to cream cheese and pretty addictive. I also bought a few DIY kits for a friend. Ordered one ounce of 4 different cheeses (smoked gouda, truffle brie, ash rind brie, and paprika bleu) and the sourdough crackers. Smoked Gouda was bomb, truffle brie was smooth and truffly, ash rind brie tasted just like dairy brie , and the paprika bleu was nice though rather salty. The sourdough crackers, which apparently are made in someone's "home kitchen" were like tumeric Cheese Itz and DELICIOUS. Staff were also very friendly. We will be back for more sampling! read more

This spot is amazing! Great vegan cheese and meat selection, and incredible sandwiches and pasta salads for lunch. They have GF bread available too (on most days) -- though one time I was driving from SF to LA and planned my route to stop at The Vreamery on the way (adds some hours to the drive, but worth it for this stop), and they were unexpectedly out of GF bread that day so I couldn't get my sandwich which was very disappointing. At least I was still able to pick up my favorite vegan truffle Brie & GF bacon. I also appreciated that they used GF pasta for the pasta salads, and had a GF baked good I could buy as well. This place is a little slice of heaven and just what Paso needs. The owner Jennifer is a sweet soul who is so invested in what she creates which shows in all of her wonderful cheeses and sandwiches! She offered me a wide variety of delicious samples that even as a vegan, changed the way I viewed vegan cheese! I walked away with purchasing the following in which I do highly recommended: Beer cheddar, black garlic white truffle, smoked gouda and classic brie! It was tough to only walk away with those! All of the cheeses are so packed full of rich flavor that even the non vegan people cannot tell a difference.. which is perfect for our little one country town! What really puts the icing on the cake is that they offer crackers, olives, prepackaged cheese/olive and nut mixes which are so convenient! I spent a short weekend in Paso and ended up coming here both days! Paso isn't the most vegan friendly, so I was thrilled this location of The Vreamery recently opened! On my first visit, the associate recommended The Thankful Turkey. The bread was so fresh and chewy and the cheddar was sharp, flavorful, and was impressively melted! That night I was still regretting not getting the graze box that I came back the next day for lunch. I got the black garlic truffle cheese (the absolute best!!!!), beer cheddar, and the smoked Gouda (wonderful flavor, but had a gelatinous texture for me). I was a little disappointed to see that my box didn't come with the vegan salami like the menu reads, so I'm not sure if it was forgotten or if doesn't come with the small box? Nonetheless, the graze box is absolutely perfect to take to go while bouncing around wineries for the day. Support your small vegan businesses! read more

We visited the Vreamery and met Jennifer and team hustling to serve holiday travelers and tourists as they plan for their upcoming move. We shared a crispy special of the day melty filled with artichokes mushrooms and peas and a creamy cheese blend featuring smoked gouda on the outdoor patio and selected some Smoked Gouda, Rosemary Olive, Truffle Brie, and Paprika Bleu for the most gorgeous and creatively curated cheesebox for a winery picnic later in the day.
