The staff was super accommodating. They are clear on the wait times. They make every effort to seat customers in every nook and cranny space of this specific location. We were given a bar top seat that squeezed about 6 people in a line. Food arrived quickly. Since I am the only fish lover in our family, I indulged in the famous fish and chips. I opted for the cod even though haddock was the fish of the day. It was super crunchy and light. I inhaled the whole fish. I'm not a fan of "chips" aka fat fries here. Hubby ordered lots of side dishes: the sourdough bread, thin chippies and more "chips". He also enjoyed the prawns. All delicious. Try to make a reservation or go when it's not prime meal times. It was yummy. I think the piece of fish was about the size of my forearm and there was about a pound of fries--err--chips along with it. Moreover, it has disturbed me greatly to see that many places that offer "chips" are selling french fries. Like what we have in America. These are NOT chips. This place not only does chips right, requiring at least an inch in diameter and almost have to get that much in sickness, made from entire potatoes, these are real. They also make your fish fresh to order and give you a lot of it. Basically, my entire trip to the UK has been salvaged. Thanks, Rose's!
