I recently visited The Vineyard at Hershey for an evening of live music and wine, and it turned into one of those relaxed summer nights you wish could last a little longer. A few highlights from our visit: Live music created a fun and lively atmosphere throughout the evening. Guests are welcome to bring their own food, making it easy to put together a picnic-style experience. Plenty of space to sit, relax, and enjoy conversation with friends and family. Ample parking available on-site. Food trucks were available in addition to the winery's offerings. For wine, we tried the Twilight sparkling wine: A semi-sweet sparkling wine with notes of dark cherry, plum, and berries that finishes clean and refreshing. It was excellent and quickly became the highlight of the night. We enjoyed it so much that we ended up purchasing a second bottle to take home. A few things to keep in mind: Parking is on grass, which wasn't an issue during our visit. While there are no stairs to navigate, there are a few gentle hills and inclines leading to the seating areas. Popular events can draw a crowd, so arriving a bit early may help you secure a good spot. What stood out most was the atmosphere. We weren't the only ones taking advantage of the beautiful weather. Groups were gathered around tables enjoying wine, music, food, and conversation, creating a welcoming and festive environment without feeling overcrowded. Overall, The Vineyard at Hershey is a fantastic destination for a relaxing evening. Between the live music, excellent wine, food options, and scenic setting, it's an easy place to spend several enjoyable hours. We'll definitely be returning for another bottle of Twilight and another night under the stars read more

Visited The Vineyard & Brewery for the first time to listen to the Fins Band. The event was inside, which is a large room with multiple tables and the wine bar. The wine we tried was decent and the beer was ok at best. Outside food and snacks were permitted for the show. While it's great they are hosting bands during the winter months, they need to invest in some noise reduction panels above and around the stage area. This enhancement would significantly improve the sound quality of the bands performing and the audience's experience. Two great qualities that we will return for in warmer months are the amazing deck and outside areas. These would be very nice areas to sit, sip, and enjoy music. One important piece of information is that location is about 15+ minutes south of Hershey off of Rt 283. read more

Gave notice we'd be rolling up in a party bus to celebrate a 40th birthday. They were prepared and accommodating! The girls did a wine tasting. They took all of our orders and promptly filled them, explaining the order for each. They had a nice back room we took over and were able to enjoy our time there reminiscing and celebrating with the staff being respectful and not overwhelming us. I am a sweet wine girl but really only enjoyed crimson fox out of the 6 tastings. Chill ambience. Would recommend if you're in the area. The bigger building offers beer, large inside area, and a great porch overlooking the vineyard. On prior visits they have classes and bands on certain days so checkout their calendar to find something that suits you! read more

We figured to stop by to try some wine since we were in the Hershey area for a few days. My husband and I decided to try 6 tastings each. Once the lady behind the counter took our tasting papers, she had us sit in the hot side tasting room where there was another couple with their dog who kept barking. We were not asked if we would be ok sitting in a room with a dog and worker ignored us and paid attention to the couple with the dog. We could not enjoy ourselves and left as soon as we finished our tasting. The dry red wine was awful, tasted water downed. The sweet wine was decent. We had much better tasting sessions at other wineries. read more

Venue is beautiful and the location is right off of route 283. There is a tasting room for the winery but if you want a glass or flight you need to go to the brewery bar next to the building. There is a lot of outdoor seating and great love music. I wasn't impressed with the wine flight's not being able to choose which ones you want on the flight. The bartenders were very young and knew nothing about the wine. Bathroom was disgusting and obviously not cleaned from the night before. No food but you can bring your own which is great! read more

One star because zero stars is not an option. Used to live near there and loved a hard cider they made. Drove close to an hour to get some for the holidaays after first checking their web site to be sure they still made it. Get there and learn they have not bottled it for about 5 years and it is only available in draft. They did offer crowlers, but we are almost two weeks out from Christmas and crowlers should not be kept that long. So it was a long drive for nothing, which could have been avoided if they had updated their web site in the five years they stopped bottling it. PS -- the name is BS, this is not in Hershey, it's 6 miles away in another township and closer to Middletown than Hershey, though the "Hershey" tag sounds more upscale read more

I work for a competing winery and was extremely disappointed with the way we were treated when visiting this winery. The two women working were unfriendly and acted like they were put out to have to wait on us, and they were not busy. A little bit of customer service goes a long way. We will not return. read more

Was very disappointed with this place, we called ahead because we are from out of town and asked if they had food and they noted there would be a food truck. No food truck on a Friday night. Also they failed to mention they have a cover which is crazy as I have been to breweries in Ohio, North Carolina , California and have never paid a cover. They also turned my aunt who is in her 60s away because she didn't have her ID. The views are cool but the highway is so close you can hear the traffic. Also they didn't have any non alcoholic options. I will say the band was really good!! read more

Attended a comedy show on 4/25/26. The vineyard's entertainment whispered "Fuck you. You're a piece of shit." into my friends ear after he failed to be funny and she was more entertaining than he was. Granted she was a little inebriated but she was just enjoying herself. Unbelievably unprofessional. Of course we left and won't be back. Spent good money only to be insulted by the subpar entertainment. read more

Not very friendly service. Wine was so so. Came to a stand up comedy show and it was beyond awful. Major waste of time and money.

We will not be coming back. Me and my wife decided to come to The Vineyard At Hershey because we love going to new wineries. Upon walking in at 3pm it was dark and seemed closed. I asked the employee, who was very unwelcoming, if they were open because when we walked in she looked as if I wasn't supposed to be in the establishment. This was weird but we still tried to patronize the business. The employee was extremely unhelpful so we gave up and left. I wasn't sure if it was racism or she just hated her job. read more

Would have loved to enjoy a good wine experience here but after walking inside the tasting room and enduring an unwelcoming invitation by an older looking woman, my family and I decided to leave. There's also a doggy daycare across from the tasting room, which to me gives the sense of unsanitary but had customer service superseded what we experienced, I would have still been willing to patronize this place. Not sure if the lady was just having a bad day or if it was the color of my skin but it was an easy option for me to not stick around somewhere I clearly was not wanted. read more

Well... Found out about this place on Groupon. It's a vineyard and brewery in one. My boyfriend and I purchased the beer tasting for two. As per the Groupon you had to make a reservation. We made one. When we arrived they stated they didn't have any reservations for beer. We showed them our reservation confirmation print out. They still stated that it says "wine or beer" and that our reservation wasn't correct. However page 2 of the reservation clearly stated beer. The girl brought us to the beer patio. We were given our flight, but no parings as we were supposed to get. We are also supposed to get a tour of the brewery, meet the brewmaster and get a souvenir pint glass. The only thing we got that we were entitled to was the beer. Beers were just okay. Nothing taste wise jumped out at us. We sipped our beers, on the "beer patio." There was some live music to enjoy. Eh. Wouldn't come back here. read more

We went for the adult Easter Egg hunt and I wont lie I was a little disappointed. We arrived late as we accidently went to the wrong place but the place we went too had a better hunt set up, can't wait to check theirs out next year. Once we did arrive we were pushed to the next tour which was no problem but was told we'd have to wait on the welcome drink so were kind of just sitting around until someone was ready. I opted to have mine after the hunt so i wouldnt have to rush or carry my glass around. Then once the hunt started we were told a limit of eggs to collect which was find and led me to believe it was more than just candy. It was not, i got candy and a random wine cork. I then broke down my basket and matched the eggs back for them and headed to the barn for live music and more drinks. I did enjoy that the ticket came with a bottle of wine but i basically just bought a bottle of wine for the ticket price. In the future im excited to check out some of the other egg hunts that include fun things in the eggs like discounts, drinks and actual adult things. the welcome drink was fine but we chose to head to a nearby winery for continued drinking. read more

Came for a sushi making class it was terrific the classes were taught by Retro Sushi 717 686 5692... Though I am not a drinker there were people that had samples of wine that looked really good. I had did some research on this place before stopping. I was excited because I read about how the owners came up with an idea out with each other and boom they have a winery and then a brewery. Maybe not enough research. It was our first stop in the area for the day. We stopped and noticed two areas. We went towards the one that said restrooms. It also said brewery. We went inside to use the facilities. We came out and seen a guy behind the bar, he wasn't present when we arrived. We asked if we can sample wine or beer. He said lists are out there. Well FIRST of all this guy was grumpy, not happy we were asking for anything and he was having trouble opening a bottle and used the word "Jesus Christ" out loud. I asked a question about the winery and his answer was, "I don't know", asked another and he said don't know, ask the front. We get our wines and tried them. They were good. You could of did beer. Nice layout, large layout. However it wasn't a pleasant experience. I was hoping for much better service. We left and went to the first building hoping to get a better greeting and service and have a drink. She was nicer but said they only did tastings and bottle sales. If we wanted a drink to go to the bottom. We left without purchasing anything. They lost sales from us because of the interaction. Act like you want to be there and work. Turned me off, I been to a lot of wineries and that may have been close to the rudest. It's safe to say that I will not be returning and it's sad because it's a large facility. read more

Zero stars - false advertising. We booked the VIP experience which included cheese and chocolate pairing . Instead our tour was sales pitch to rent out their space. The information told to us was incorrect on wine making along with showing us their mouse poop infested plastic "barrels". Our tour guide made horrible jokes and was sarcastic who made many sex jokes such as "spitters are quitter". They told us thief gross filmed pond was a wedding space and do not have their own vines and import their juice. Lastly, the cheese and chocolate pairing consisted of a horrid dry flight that was 1 oz , if that. And 2 pieces of cheeses and the "chocolate" was trail mix. Do not recommend to anyone. read more

It was worth the drive and visit! This was my first time doing a tour and wine tasting in PA and I can't wait to go back. I came across the Vineyard at Hershey via Groupon and got an amazing deal for two. Our tour guide knew her stuff and she made me enjoy a little history behind the wine mastery. It was super dope to learn how the wine lovers do it in PA. I a really appreciate how they make wine with love and care. 10/10 on authenticity! The tour included wine tasting and pairing and both were fun. I'm both a dry and sweet wine drinker so I was a little disappointed the tour didn't allow us to try both. However, after the tour is over you are more than welcome to sample their other list of wine and enjoy 10% off your purchase. If you decide to visit make sure you get the crimson fox and their table wines, it was super tasty. Thanks for the warm welcome PA, I'll be back soon! read more

We took the VIP wine tour this weekend. Tour guide Megan was wonderful & very knowledgeable about both the wine and beer making process. We had the option of either a dry or sweet flight at the end, and even got to taste peanut butter cider and chocolate wine. There were food pairings to go with it, and she had a heavy hand so well worth the price of the tour. They also offer wine slushees and beer which several people from our group enjoyed after the tour when we ventured to their outdoor patio with live music. Beautiful view, nice staff, and excellent wine makes a very fun day trip and would definitely recommend! read more

The location was easy to find due to the signs off the highway and at each turn. We parked near the barn. River house in Middletown was serving food tonight- delish. We forgot to register when we walked in cause we were starving. Went back and registered $5.00 each. If you drink alcoholic you have to register. Band playing was fantastic! Wine is sold by glass and bottle. Barmaid used a small hand held wine cork... someone get her a nice electric open. You are a winery. She had such difficulty with opening the wine I felt so bad for her. She excused herself and got someone to open it. She was a sweetheart. Many choices for Beer. Pineapple IPA was good. 2 fire pits going and $5.00 for S'Mores. Beautiful night. read more

This review isn't even worthy of a star. Our large group had todays wine and cheesecake pairing planned for some time. Some of our group was even from out of state. Sadly due to lack of customer service by Lynn, who's the owner of this facility. Once our group arrived we got an immediate ill feeling, and our time there didn't get better. For the amount of money our group spent on the wine and cheesecake pairing, we'd expect to our time there to have been a better outcome. Lynn needs to get some serious training on proper customer service, especially owning and operating a facility like that. Never again will we ever consider going to the vineyard or recommend the facility to anyone. read more

Some decent to good choices here when it comes to white wine - I recommend the Chardonnay offerings. The ambiance is lively and upbeat, with regular live music and plenty of food trucks. There are also some solid choices for brewing and tasting events. Convenient and approachable. Also had a good time when bringing friends here. Staff is friendly and helpful and the shop offers tastings they can accommodate moderately sized groups. read more

Beer is nothing exceptional. Not bad. Not great. Maybe the wine is better. The setting is pretty fantastic. So, go for the scenery and the social. Better beer is available elsewhere. I have to think this place added beer to just expand its customer base. The set-up is a bit hard to grasp the first time there in terms of what is where. read more

I got a Groupon for my husband and I for a VIP brew tour and beer flight. I should have checked the events before scheduling because it was some sort of family fun day and it was crazy packed. When we arrived for the tour they didn't know we were coming and weren't prepared. They were honest and told us this. The tour felt rushed and it was kind of awkward, but the flight and snacks were a lot of fun mixed with the live entertainment and views. Spotted lantern flies are OUT OF CONTROL THERE. There were carcasses all over the concrete; they kept flying on my husband and I, everywhere we looked, spotted lantern flies! Not the vineyard's fault, just pointing out how horribly invasive they are! read more

We came back to the Vineyard at Hershey, but we made this our first stop, rather than trying to do everything else and then arriving later in the afternoon. We might have picked the wrong day to attend... Apparently, it was their sixth year anniversary party. A lot more foot traffic. While inquiring about a cider that they didn't have in stock, we were told about a nice new wine that sort of tastes like a mimosa. We were offered a wine tasting, but there were too many people there. Let's gamble! We'll just buy the bottle and try it out later. At the brewery side, we were helped by a great bartender, unlike our last visit. That one was there too and wasn't the friendliest to other people either... Anyways, our bartender gave us a few samples and then canned us a crowler to go. The process took awhile, because of course my wife orders the worst drink to bottle up. The cherry cider had a lot of foam, so our bartender had to wait for it to settle, so we could get our money's worth. She apologized multiple times, but I kept telling her she didn't have to. While we waited, we helped ourselves to the complimentary popcorn machine. When we did get home, we drank the beer and it was very good. A great flavor. Next time, I'll have to remember to bring a growler with me. Why don't I just keep one in my car at all times? read more

My husband and I stopped here before shopping at the outlets. This was our 2nd time coming here and we were mainly coming back to get the peanut butter cider. We looked in the winery and they didn't have it. We went to the brewery area and they said they didn't have any bottles of it. I would have got some on draft but they didn't have that either. I was disappointed because I thought it was always available but they told me it was seasonal. The bartender was patient and let me sample the strawberry and cherry cider however. It doesn't have the wow factor like the peanut butter cider but it was decent so we got a can and Crowler to take home. Before leaving I wanted to go back to the winery area again and check again in case they had some cider in the back somewhere. They didn't but told me they're making some more and it should be ready in like 6 to 8 weeks. I guess we will be back then to get some. They talked me into getting a orange mimosa type wine which sounded good. We were gonna do a wine tasting but it was too crowded so we just bought the bottle and left. If you are going there to get the peanut butter cider make sure you call or check online to see if they have it first. I wish they had it all the time, but I guess it's hard if it sells fast. read more

This place is a nice venue for a party or an easy day of listening to music. With that being said, this is foremost a vineyard and their wines are poorly bottled. I recently met a number of friends at the vineyard on a busy Saturday. This was my second visit to this establishment, with the first being an Octoberfest celebration a few years ago. On this occasion, there were artists playing live music and a number of people celebrating a 30th birthday. Both the indoor and outdoor sections of this establishment are capable of seating a large number of people, but the bar is of limited size and may often result in a significant line as one waits to order. My wife and I picked a bottle of their Gewurztraminer and selected a table in the far corner to have a decent view of the band. Immediately as I began to pour, I discovered that the bottle of wine was very cloudy. I returned to the bar and informed the bartender that the bottle of wine was not cleared properly and that the wine was cloudy. Yeast dregs are a natural laxative and can contribute poor flavors; they should be avoided at all costs. The bar tender asked a manager if she could exchange out the bottle for another and the manager said: "all of our wines are like that". In the end, I was able to get a bottle of the chardonnay, and in this case the barrel aging seemed to help clear the wine. I was disappointed that both the bartender and the manager had become so accustomed to their wines not being cleared properly, that they tried to pass it off like it was the style the vineyard offers. The process of clearing wine is simple, but it requires time. When yeast is left to decompose in the bottle, it masks and distorts the taste of quality wine. Perhaps I will make a return trip in a few years, but I will not waste my money on a sub-par product in the mean time. The true shame is that the wines would be truly tasty if they were bottled properly with the appropriate amount of clearing and aging. read more

By far one of the BEST vineyard & breweries in the area. My husband & I took our Mom on a Friday night in March to the Decked Out Live Unplugged - The Kings Kickoff.
