I visited this morning and ordered a hot chocolate, but the cashier told me that hot chocolate is…read moreonly for kids and I was a little confused by this policy, since hot chocolate is a drink that many adults enjoy as well. Could someone please explain the reason behind this rule? I'm not trying to complain. I would just like to understand the policy better. Thank you. (Croissant Smoked Salmon Sandwich was good.)

I really could rant and rave about this place. It was the first restaurant I've visited that wasn't…read moreon the LV strip and my goodness, what a relief that was (I don't like the crowdedness, or the prices on the strip -- I generally try to avoid it if I can). I came here for brunch on a weekday and it was PACKED, but the line moves pretty fast and the servers do too! The prices aren't bad either, I ended up ordering a croffle with ube cream, the shakshuka, and a bellini. I was very hungry that morning but GOSH I was full by the end -- even the shakshuka alone (which comes with four good sized pieces of bread) had me very full, and the croffle just that much more so (totally worth it though - the bananas on top with chocolate and the ube cream was just *chefs kiss*). I spent like $35 in total which I really think isn't bad at all for a full brunch experience in a sit down place. The decor is also very floral and summery and cute. Plenty of parking in the shopping center lot outside too but be mindful of not parking in one of the pick up only spots (15 min or less). The bathrooms were also immaculate. Overall whenever I'm in Vegas again for work stuff or something I will absolutely seek this place out again -- it was one of the best budget brunches that I've had. Big fan!

I had just gone on a hike in North Las Vegas on the last day before the temps got into the 90s…read more It's the cool place where the fossils are. I finished my hike and searched for my snacks and guess what? I forgot to pack them!! I was hungry and in need of a bit of caffeine. There isn't really much on that side of town, but google pointed me in the direction of The Haven Bakehouse. Wow! Such a beautiful, cool, modern, spacious shop! The barista there was so friendly. I guess they are known for their cookies, but at that moment, I really needed protein with a bit of caffeine. I ordered a breakfast type sandwich that had turkey bacon, some banana bread and a matcha latte that was just magnificent. I didn't have time to eat there as I wanted to beat traffic, but I would highly recommend it. My sandwich was good and satisfying and the banana bread was a wonderful consistency and not too sweet, just how I wanted it. I definitely need to stop by for their reputed cookies!

Amazing service!!! Delicious baked goods, peaceful and comforting ambiance…read more I have been wanting to check this bake house out for a while but I always choose the days they are closed so always check their hours of operation before you decide to go. The staff were friendly and kind. The cookies were good however pretty hefty on the sweet side. My husband is diabetic so he had to limit his intake on these cookies. He loves chocolate chip but had to go with the less sweet cookie, the chewy oatmeal (which I thought was perfect!) I am not a cookie lover but my favorite one was the peanut butter and chocolate one because the salt from the peanut butter offsets the sweetness of the cookie. But my favorite item was definitely the banana bread, it was perfect!! I will definitely go back for that and perhaps a latte. If you have a sweet tooth, this place will definitely hit the spot. I would recommend trying this place out. It would be a good place for meeting a friend for coffee or even studying. Check it out for yourself and tell me your thoughts.
