I met a friend for coffee here recently. I ordered the vanilla bourbon latte on ice. I had read good reviews about it so I wanted to try it. It was bland,, didn't really have any outstanding flavor. It tasted watered down from the ice and the oat milk. I couldn't taste the coffee or the flavorings. Underwhelmed overall. The ambience was nice though, I would come here and maybe order something different next time?
I came here after a recommendation for my physical therapist. She was ranting and raving about it and tells all of her coworkers and patience to go, so I had to try it. She recommended the pistachio latte and although it's not something I normally get I decided to try it since she said it's actually really good. I'm not a sweet type of girly so I always ask for half sweet, which was good. I think the sweetness level was fantastic. I think it could've needed a little bit more pistachio cause it wasn't as prominent, but I can kind of appreciate it. Overall, the latte was delicious. I wanna come back and try the raspberry cause I feel like that's more my speed and I just think the quality of the coffee is good so I have high hopes. Inside, it's honestly kind of fair inside, but that kind of adds to the aesthetic. Saw a lot of people working on their laptops and a lot of medical people coming in and out so definitely a hotspot. I will be back and I will be sure to follow up with that review.
Aware Coffee is in a shopping center to the left immediately before the entrance to the gated Painted Desert community. Private parking lot. I noticed a steady flow of customers during the time I was there. They offer a limited menu of savory foods such as avocado toast, sandwiches, and burritos. A nice selection of pastries is also offered. I was informed that the baked goods are sourced from Purple Potato Bakery. They use 'Southern Weather' brand coffee, and they sell bags of beans as well. Never heard of this brand before. It was good. There's no baby changing table station or purse hook in the restroom. I ordered the Breakfast Burrito and an iced Americano breve. The exterior of the burrito looked very good. I didn't care for the interior visual and mouth feel of the burrito (grainy looking but not dry), but the flavor was good. It's not very obvious, but I happened to notice that the espresso machine has dark transparent side panels, which is interesting as it allows a view of some of the inner mechanics. Nearby patio offers extra seating options. Very good customer service. It was a very good experience overall.
Based off of 3 visits, this spot is just okay. The location is nice and spacious but busy all hours of the day. Lots of communal tables, perfect for group studies. The coffee is overpriced and not delicious, but it does the job when you're in the area and in a pinch.

I've been on a matcha kick lately and got Berry matcha. Nice matcha flavor with tons of berry syrup at the bottom. We also got yuzu lychee and had a choice of black, green or hibiscus tea base. We got the hibiscus. Had a fragrant herbal fresh citrusy flavor. Aware has 2 other locations. It's the same owner as Purple potato bakery and that's where all the yummy pastries came from. We didn't purchase any but next time we will try the bakery itself.
Came here after the gym on Friday April 17th, 2026 around 8:30am I came at the perfect time because as I was waiting for my food and drink the line was to the door, I was greeted and ordered a large iced berry matcha with oat milk and a chicken salad sandwich, I wish there more breakfast items they had a breakfast burrito that sounded good but I don't eat pork or dairy. The staff was friendly and the service was fast, I like the inside it was simple with long large tables for those that wanted to work or study, I will be back again the matcha was absolutely amazing!
Nice cafe with a variety to choose from for food, drinks and sweets. Good service albeit slow, probably due to the volume of orders coming in. The black sugar creme latte was yummy. Bummer that there was no more boba when we were there around 3:30 pm on a weekday. The lemon meringue donut was fantastic. It was a cronut with all the delicious layers and a good balance of filling. The avocado toast and turkey sandwich were both straightforward and good. I've had better honey lavender latte elsewhere but still interested in trying other drinks here in the future.

Vietnamese coffee was strong and creamy. Friend had the mint coffee and it was very minty and delicious with almond milk.
First timer at AWARE, when you first walk in it's pleasant and they have a variety of drinks and food. I opted for the bourbon vanilla coffee with the house avo toast. Both were OK. Maybe I'll try a seasonal drink if I ever decide to visit again.

If you get the Mocha, it has a bit of their Bourbon Vanilla sauce in it and is so so good. They also have toasts and donuts as well as some yummy cookies (the red velvet is great !). Nice place for a coffee stop.
My drink was good. Not too sweet as requested . Matcha is perfect not too strong. Great Service and cute vibe. Wish they had the mochi donuts that I saw in other people's reviews. Guess they don't make it anymore.
Really liked Aware Coffee! They have a good selection of pastries, avocado toast, burritos, teas, matcha, and lattes. There were a lot of people working inside when I went, but still a decent amount of seating. I ordered the iced pumpkin spice latte and it was heavenly!! Definitely hit the spot. It's never too early for pumpkin in my opinion Would definitely come back! read more
I tried Aware Coffee and had a pretty different experience compared to the South location. This location is much smaller and doesn't have quite the same trendy, polished atmosphere, but the coffee was still really good. I ordered the Cookie Butter Tiramisu Latte with almond milk, and it was delicious! I really liked the combination of cookie butter and tiramisu flavors. The one area that could use some attention is the bathroom. There were no paper towels, and it didn't look as clean as I would have expected. Overall, I'd recommend if you're coming primarily for the coffee. The atmosphere at this location is more basic and the space is smaller than the south location, but the latte was good enough that I'd come back to try another drink. read more
One of my favorite coffee spots as of late, especially if I am craving a very sweet and creamy coffee! I like to order whatever is on their seasonal special menu. Right now it's a toffee einspanner latte, so good and kind of reminds me of Christmas! Definitely very very sweet though. Would recommend ordering this with an extra shot. Other than seasonal drinks, they also have really good pastries. They had a banana cream pie brioche donut the other day that I got for a friend, who said it was 10/10. read more

I was craving Matcha, and I normally go to another coffee shop, but I near this place, and decide to stop in. Nothing fancy about this place but it's super simple and clean. It seems like a lot of people come here and do their work. Lots of lighting, very open space. I was pleasantly surprised with this delicious Matcha I got from there. I'm pescatarian so this is made with oat or almond milk, and I believe this is strawberry. The End. If you go, enjoy! read more
I got the chicken salad sandwich and a seasonal drink (coquito latte). The sandwich was great- bread toasted well and was a good portion for the price! The latte was alright - it had coconut milk, condensed milk and some other flavors too. The espresso itself was great I think I was just not a huge fan of the flavor combo but would definitely come back to try some other lattes since the coffee itself was great! Big space, lots of outlets, good for studying! It does get busy though. read more
I've been to Aware Coffee Shop a couple of times, but honestly, I was nervous to come back. The last time I ordered a matcha--it was okay, not the best--and after reading some mixed reviews, I wasn't sure about returning. I decided to give it another try today and got the Matcha Berry Latte, and I'm glad I did! It was really good. I spent some time doing my Bible study and homework, and the atmosphere made it easy to focus. The place does get busy pretty fast, but overall, it's such a cute spot with a great vibe. Someone gave me half of their 4-pack of matcha cookies and I fell in love it was soooo good. I had to know where they came from and that's how I discovered Aware. I finally visited here myself. Nice and clean inside, simple, modern and bright. Staff members were helpful and guided me as I had a hard time deciding what to Fe as my drink. I got the iced honey lavender signature latte - I liked the strong, bold coffee flavor but wasn't a fan of the lavender even though I normally like lavender. The matcha cookies were 10/10 of course. I'll still come back to try the tiramisu signature latte next time. read more
I was on the hunt for mochi donuts and found this place. Unfortunately they no longer sell them but have layered donuts and brioche style donuts. Ihe inside is small and cute wit a fee tables and bar. It would be a nice quiet place to study. The service was decent. Started our super friendly and then kind of stopped smiling after the order and didnt say thank you after we paid. We ordered the banana toffee layered donut, which honestly was our favorite. It was light, airy, had a perfect little crunch and was not overally banana flavored. We also got the coffee toffee brioche and Ube cream brioche. Both were light and airy. The coffee toffee one was good but the coffee was kind of overpowering so you really couldn't taste the toffee. The Ube was our second favorite as the Ube center was light ans creamy. They do offer food, coffee, smoothies, and teas but since I was really craving a mochi style donuts we didnt try anytbing else. Would I go back...maybe because the donuts are decent. But I may give it another try to and study but also try some of the food and matcha. I ove avocado toast and I saw someone had ordered it and it looked delicious. read more

I was in town and decided to check out this coffee spot, especially given its stellar reviews. There's a parking lot out front with plenty of spots. Inside, it's fairly spacious with plenty of seating. I was curious about the berry matcha or their other lattes but the barista said it's very sweet which made me scared to try it and steered me away. I asked about the green eye and if it's good, she said it's matcha with a couple shots of espresso in it. She recommended that one - she wasn't super friendly btw. It sounded unique so I decided to try it. My bf got the mint mojito latte. I should have said something and had them remake my drink - which I admit is totally my fault - but I really didn't love the drink. It wasn't sweet at all and was actually quite bitter. I couldn't finish it. My bf's mint mojito tasted better so I had some of his, but it also wasn't incredible. I wish I ended up just getting the berry matcha or another one of their drinks. Lots of people rave about this place and how good the service is and how great their drinks are, so I think I just came at an off time and ordered the wrong thing. read more

We can't wait to be back! Syrups are made in house. Both drinks were extremely flavorful but not overly sweet. We loved the ube croissant. There were layers and layers of ube. We got there right when they were coming out so still warm. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and efficient. read more
Great coffee shop. I got the vanilla bourbon latte and an ube donut. The latte was sweet but had a dark undertone. The ube donut was good but I wouldn't get it again. It has a dusting of sugar on the outside and cold ube filling on the inside. I'm not a fan of cold pastries. The line inside was long, almost out the door but it went by pretty quickly. read more

Stopped by with my sister , the place itself is beautiful and such a great ambiance. Right across from a community pool and park so great for parents! The barista's were more than helpful and patient with us when ordering, both of us got vanilla Matcha 's with vanilla cold foam . 10/10 recommend read more
We've given Aware a couple shots since we really wanted to like it. Super minimal inside and good amount of seating. Have tried their matcha latte and recently, their ube matcha latte. Consistently, this place has one of the worst matchas we've had. It is gritty, somehow tasteless yet savory. Could not taste a single drop of ube. Have tried their vanilla and cookie butter latte and found them bland and yet couldn't taste the coffee. Tried the banana misu latte this time around and once again, couldn't taste the coffee. The banana misu foam was less of a foam and more of a batter... flavor was pretty banana-y, but couldn't taste the tiramisu at all. read more

I gave Aware Coffee a neutral review before because I thought there was potential, but after my second visit, I left pretty disappointed. I ordered the tiramisu latte again, and somehow it was worse than the first time. The coffee itself is pretty mid, and what really makes the drink is the phenomenal cold foam. Unfortunately, they recently switched their lids, and they're so difficult to drink from that I ended up using a straw. The problem is that using a straw completely bypasses the cold foam, which is the best part of the drink. Instead of getting the coffee and foam together, you're mostly tasting the latte underneath. The shop still has a nice atmosphere, but when the standout feature of a drink is the foam and the lid design prevents you from enjoying it properly, it takes away from the experience. For the price they charge, I'd expect a better overall product and a cup design that actually complements the drink. read more

This place is very chill coffee spot. It had a lot of patrons doing work on computers there. So it seems like a nice tech spot to do work. We ordered a Valencia coffee. Bitter fort taste but my homegirls loved it. She is a coffee fanatic though. And I enjoyed the matcha tiramisu. Very good and also not as sweet as the title suggests so it was very enjoyable. read more

Hi do you have almond milk l, sugar free flavors, and dairy and gluten free choices?
They have almond, oat, and coconut milk options for additional prices ($0.75), the donuts have gluten in them and some of their drinks don't have sugar.
Is there any dessert that is gluten free here? (No wheat, barley, rye or triticale & measures taken to prevent cross contamination.) I have Celiac disease and have to eat gluten free.
Hey Rachel! We have a Banana Flax pastry that is Vegan and Gluten Free. We source it from a local baker who makes them in big batches so there is no cross-contamination with the products we make in-house.

So this is definitely a rebranded/remodeled version of Tea Time Cafe and not a new company coming in? Just curious because their emphasis on organic coffee (and tea) seems so different from TTC's vibe (in a positive way).
