The room was beautifully set up when we arrived. The tables, chairs, linens, and tabletop decorations were all arranged perfectly and looked fantastic. Erin, the Events Manager, was wonderful to work with throughout the planning process and was also present on the day of the event, making sure everything ran smoothly. Renting a private event space on a Friday night is never inexpensive, but we found the Viana to be very reasonably priced, especially for 2026. We hosted over 60 guests along with our DJ, Joe from On Fire DJs, and the room felt like the perfect size. There was plenty of space for dining and socializing, while still keeping a great party atmosphere. The dance floor was packed all night with high school graduates having an amazing time. The staff was incredibly accommodating and allowed us to load and unload our balloons, signs, and decorations through the back entrance, which made setup and cleanup so much easier. The food deserves special recognition. Everything tasted fresh and made-to-order rather than prepared hours in advance. The appetizers were hot, crispy, and delicious. The chicken was incredibly juicy and tender. Throughout both the cocktail hour and dinner buffet, guests kept going back for seconds and even thirds. Nearly every plate was cleaned. The dessert selection was equally impressive, with a variety of cakes, pastries, coffee, and tea that gave everyone plenty of options to finish the evening on a high note. Our family and guests had an incredible experience, and we would absolutely recommend the Viana Hotel for any special event. Had the breakfast as a gold member we were comped, and it was made to order with a hot breakfast. I guess my only complaint was they don't post the menu for breakfast or dinner if they posted the menus we may have stayed for dinner disappointing Hilton could've even given us to us at check-in. Check in was at 3 but as we had all gotten emails to check in early and couldn't, we went downstairs to check in. We understood that our room would not be ready until 3 but just wanted to pre check in as I've done MANY times before at other hotels. When we went down to the front desk to request this, the young woman working the desk was EXTREMELY rude WITH an attitude telling us that we aren't able to check in because they didn't have rooms yet. I explained that we dont need a room yet but that we got emails to check in early and it didn't work for us and we weren't going to be back until 1am. She responded again rudely telling us we can't check in with an annoyed facial expression. On top of that, we had mini gift bags that all the guests were to receive when they got to the hotel as the hotel had room blocks for the wedding. They were given to the front desk with the request to put them in the rooms for those there for the wedding. We were told this was no problem, as guests were arriving they had the bags behind the desk and started handing out multiples to each person even though the instructions were one per room and to be in the rooms. One of the guests went up to the front desk explaining to the women that they were supposed to be in the rooms already and one per room (again as we were told they can do this earlier in the day). She rudely, with an attitude, told her that "they don't do that" and they'll hand them out when guests are checking in "if they remember". Overall, the main issue was the lack of professionalism from the front desk women who were extremely nasty and miserable.

We didn't realize until after we parked that you cannot access the hotel from the garage so we walked down the hill to the front. Not a big deal but unexpected. I had an omelette with added andouille sausage which had a little kick. The food was good, we had a nice corner table so it was intimate. The restaurant is spacious. Nice spot for brunch and a walk through town after.
