Five star experience relative to the options in immediate area…read more We made a wedding at the nearby Old Westbury Hebrew Congregation and found Viana on Amex Platinum's website. Hotel suite on PH level had a jacuzzi, terrace, living room space, and bedroom with extremely soft linens. Cost was $350 a night which is what we'd pay for an ordinary room nearby. Easy parking, great coffee, very friendly staff and when we needed to extend checkout a few hours the cost was shockingly low, they were very accommodating. Didn't try room service but no problems ordering Uber Eats to the hotel. They also have an option of placing chocolate covered strawberries, rose petals and champagne in the room for $75. Regardless of occasion, choice this option! Primo will definitely stay here again if life brings us back to the neighborhood.

The room is great for us changing for a 9 o'clock show we have 18 miles away. Most likely we won't be sleeping here tonight we will be on the highway after the show. This is a clean hotel and we use it often when we frequent this area it's a good place to check into when in this area and very clean and comfortable. Good quality hotel and they have a restaurant downstairs with a small menu. The Quality of this hotel is well worth the money.

The review is for a day visit. We booked a Tuesday house tour. It lasted for an hour and 15 minutes. The tour guide showed us the special rooms of the house. I loved the gesture of showing us the Castle's most favorite hotel room ... the bridal suite. The view from this room is magnificent. We do our own tour of the garden after lunch. We took our time exploring and enjoyed taking photos. We had a reservation after the tour at its restaurant. The management gave us a10% discount for taking the tour. I made a separate review for its restaurant. The inside of the mansion is meticulously decorated classy. I am impressed how they maintained the house especially their hotel rooms. I can't imagine how magnificent weddings celebrations are being held here. This place is a good venue choice... the huge dining hall and its beautiful ballroom stand out. It is a recommended place to be.

One of the things about it past the fact that it dwarfs Downton Abbey (for this who don't know that is the name of an estate) and is literally like stepping back in time into absolute Sumptuousness and luxury was this feeling of safety we felt. I did not expect it- I read that it is haunted and being that it is COLOSSAL in size, I expected to feel uneasy or creeped out a bit. I did not however; In fact I felt oddly welcomed. We stayed in the dead of winter on a weekday off season when no events or even many people stayed. I can say that I am pretty sure we were completely alone in the wing we were in and not once did I feel nervous or vulnerable. I read that Otto Kahn the original owner who built it, was scared of fire. The entire place was built to be fireproof with stone and concrete. I loved that and it made me even more comfortable. The place feels magic and protective! Such a rarity. You can feel the love put into this place. The halls that lead to the room in this wing were ...unusual. Weird murals of the sound of music. I get it. It was whimsey at the time it was done in I think maybe the 1980s. no big deal. Spotlessly clean and well lit. Was a little shining-esq...you know...the overlook. Still had zero chills or jeebies. The room we stayed in was basic- must have been redone in the late 80s or maybe early 90s. It was a bit dated with a lot of beige and travertine tiles, yellow gold fixtures etc. (Next time I will spring for a room that fits the rest of this place for the full experience) Nevertheless It was well enough to have served its purpose but I will say this; IT WAS IMMACULATE. Sterile. I am not sure how it could be this outdated but also be as fresh and polished as the day it was done. It smelled fresh and shined and was very well appointed right down to luxurious white Terry robes. The rugs were clean and fresh. The giant heavy gaudy sleigh bed was decked with luxe creamy sheets and was so comfortable. I am a design snob, I choose place based on this factor; Between the downstairs Lavishness, and the clean and details in the room- I was more than satisfied. We meandered around from humongous ball room to room. woodwork and stone and antiquities ....views... I feel like we didn't even cover a fraction and we were blown away. I am posting some pictures. If I am being honest, I felt like royalty staying here for a simple staycation for the night. I could go one and on. we plan to come back and stay in the Gatsby or carnegie suite in the spring. I feel like the price is reasonable here for a basic room comparable to most hotels that far outdoes any silly Hilton or Hampton inn. Why would anyone stay anywhere else when this is here? All in all we had a fantastic stay and slept like logs. I wanted to go back as soon as we left- We will be back

My husband and I checked in at 3 AM right after our wedding ended and Marissa at the front desk welcomed us with a warm smile and gave us all the information we needed to get situated. When we got to the room, we were absolutely surprised to see a bottle of champagne along with chocolate covered strawberries and other pastries waiting for us along with a very cute note! There were also rose petals made into a shape of a heart on the bed and towels folded into swans. It was such a nice touch, they really pay attention to detail! The rooms on the club floor are absolutely amazing, we need to come back when its warm enough to enjoy the huge balcony/patio. When you book at the club floor level, you get access to the lounge - we stopped by frequently for desserts, granola bars, snacks, coffee, soda, etc. Everything was *superbly clean*, which is what matters to me the most in any hotel I stay at. I also enjoyed how quiet it was - you don't hear your neighbors, you don't hear loud noises in the hall, it was perfect. The amenities were just what we needed to relax. Room service came very quickly for dinner and the food itself was amazing, the oysters tasted so fresh and presentation of everything was beautiful. The pool was my favorite part of our stay; it was sparkling clean and the perfect temperature for escaping the cold November air. Usually at hotels the indoor pools smell of chlorine which makes my eyes burn, but this pool was not like that at all, my eyes felt perfectly fine and we couldn't even smell any chlorine. My husband had a great workout at the gym, he was very satisfied with the machines and equipment. Location is also a huge plus, plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby, although the food is so good at the hotel I don't think you'll want to go anywhere else. More importantly, the LIRR is right there if you want a deeper excursion into Manhattan. All in all, we would definitely come back here, my husband says he's ready to move in haha

The room was a bit small, but I had everything I needed while working in the area... except a decent place for an afternoon snack/coffee. That would have been one thing I'd change. She didn't realize that my sister and I were not able to stay for 2 nights. She had just lost her husband of 57 years and she was trying to help family get together. She actually wanted to pay for the room when she booked it, but the merchant wouldn't allow it. When my sister and I checked in we were told the reservation was for 2 nights. I explained to them that my aunt, who was trying to be helpful, booked the room for us and that we would only be able to stay for one night. The people at the front desk said they couldn't do anything about it because we were outside the cancellation period. I guess that was true because my aunt booked last minute for a funeral. The people at the front dest assured me that I would receive a call from the manager to address this. Never happened. Now one might think that the appropriate response would be we're are very sorry for your loss and we understand how this happened. If you did you would be absolutely wrong. I did dispute the charge for the second day with my credit card company because I never heard from the establishment, but through months of back and forth these people still refused to budge. I would like to thank this establishment and the Hilton Corporation for making a difficult time for my family just that much worse.
