I'm extremely disappointed with how this UPS Store handled an international shipment and how the situation was managed by the store manager. I called ahead to confirm my package could be shipped to Mexico. I then went into the store where an associate packed the box and itemized all contents (toys, clothing, gifts). I paid in cash and was never advised of any prohibited items. The package was returned due to containing shoes -- something I was never informed of prior to shipping. I attempted several times to contact the store manager and received no return calls. Another associate later helped me, instructed me to remove the shoes, and re-ship the package. I complied. The package was returned again with no clear explanation. At that point, I requested a refund because the service was never successfully completed. The manager was rude, dismissive, refused to escalate the issue to the owner, and hung up on me. This store packed the shipment, approved the contents, and accepted payment, yet failed to properly advise on restrictions and then refused accountability. Very poor customer service and management. read more

I will never use UPS to send a package again. My son came home from the Navy to visit for Christmas and had a pair of glasses made. He had to return to his base in NY before they arrived so I shipped them. Long story short, LOST!!!! Tracking says they didn't get far and were lost in San Bernardino! And because I didn't buy any extra insurance he/we are out $250. It already cost $20 for the slowest shipping. Never again. read more

Had custom prints done for my daughter's birthday. Paid the expedited fee to have them same day. Picked them up when they were ready and they were not done according to instruction (black and white) like they were suppose to be. Therefore, took The colored ones and said I would get black and white tomorrow because we were headed out of town for the birthday party. I just asked they reimburse me for the expedited. The manger Caesar Told me, "the black And whites were ready now and since they were ready in the same day, there is no reimbursement". But I needed them for the party and I Am out of town and unable to get them now, I had already been there today. Terrible customer service. Never going back. Do not go here! They won't let you ship via the cheapest option, because it does not cover their overhead cost. They won't let you ship via the 4 day option. They will only let you do the 2 day option. They say they have to make up the money due to overhead costs. I wonder why they have to and not other franchises have to. If you want to get ripped off, come here. *Follow up - I get you may have "overhead," but my question is why this store does not offer 4 day shipping when the Redlands store offers it and has to deal with overhead costs too. Really irritating to have to do their job for them. Went in with a few Amazon returns which are so fast for them to do and they made me use the kiosk and do it myself. I understand they have the kiosks now for when it's busy but I was the only customer in the store, there were three employees there doing nothing, I had my husband and impatient toddler in the car waiting for me and they still made me do it myself which took forever. It's just so stupid that you guys are literally getting paid to do this yet I have to do it myself....???? read more

Between Danielle the Assit mgr, Lisa the store mgr, and Adriana the area mgr, ALL refuse to be accountable for a lost package as a result of Danielle's rudeness of being TOO BUSY to help a customer at time of package drop off that ended up never being scanned into the system and is gone forever. If I could give zero stars I would. DO NOT NOTARIZE your documents here(Yucaipa)! Unless you want to pay twice again for THEIR mistake. I sent a notarized document with Alexandra H. she forgot to attach the new document the state of California requires now for notarized documents to be accepted. This messed up my entire process for a housing contract I had because they were missing the required document to let it pass! My notarized document got rejected and now I had to rush to fix it because of their mistake(on a week timeline). Yet they charged me again to send it even though it was their mistake. Very disappointed they caused me this issue. Took them 21 days for the document to be received and then it was rejected because of them. Please use other UPS stores to save yourself from this headache. Now I have to see if the new documents will make it in time for my contract. read more

Normally when I go in, everyone is nice and helpful however tonight I stopped by for a return and one of the girls working the register was very rude. I was waiting in line and she rudely told me to use the self check out. I prefer not to since a package was lost and never returned to sender after turning it in to the self check out/ kiosk. She said some other things that were rude and not necessary, seemed like maybe she was having a bad day but I doubt it because every time I run into her there she's not the friendliest. One star for her unnecessary behavior and comments out of nowhere but 5 stars for everyone else who I normally get professionalism and kindness from. Do better lady. read more

I have only been to this store twice, because the one closer to me closed. During BOTH of my experiences, I found the clerks to be rude. Usually I don't give comments for rudeness, but on BOTH experiences from TWO different clerks?? No thank you. If it wasn't the closest store, I'd never go again. This last time, they treated me like an idiot because when using their self-serve machine, I didn't know if I should leave on the old mailing label or not since it might show through the clear plastic under the new one. She was SO RUDE when I asked her about it. Those women need lessons in manners. This is my second negative experience at this location. I'm a grandmother of 9, and my young grandchildren have exponentially better manners than these employees. I don't even like going into this store anymore. read more

Jen and Ally were really helpful in determining how much it would cost to shred 8 boxes, provided me the discount per box despite it being a bit more complicated of a transaction and made the process super simple. Went in to check on a Amazon return girl at the counter had an attitude and didn't want to look up the receipt wouldn't even take the receipt and look at it. The other employee behind the counter that heard the interaction got up from what she was doing and at least provided me a 800 number to call if I continued to have issues. She measured the items I am shipping to family members to get the right size box, then padding so they are protected, then we discussed shipping methods and discussed delivery, she took the time to understand how fragile these items are and are not. After having an awful experience at the ups store in Beaumont(not seeing me at a scheduled appointment). I drove to this location and was greeted with friendly faces. My wife wanted to shred some important documents and was told they could shred in front of her. Perfect! However once she paid she was told they would be added to the shredding pile that would be collected at some point. The 'shred right away' service was confirmed by 2 members of staff then a 3rd member of staff said it wouldn't be done right away in front of her. I understand mistakes can be made but by 2 workers? It was delivered there and was told by Amazon that it was and went down there to pick it up. JD said it wasn't there and we are not a retail store. I'm told by Amazon to just wait. Getting there: This UPS is located right off Yucaipa Blvd, in the same parking lot as the Stater Bros. There's plenty of parking, but I usually park on the side because there is less traffic that comes in and out that way. Experience: I use this UPS for all my Amazon returns. They are fast, easy, and friendly. I am always in and out. There was a line one time, but that was because there was only one staff member working. You do not need a box to return your items as long as you have the Amazon code they scan it, ask if you want a receipt, and you're on your way. I would highly recommend. I haven't used any of their services for shipping yet, but if I come in need I will be coming to this location. read more

I use this store all the time. The staff has always been courteous and friendly. However, today's experience was totally the opposite. I was just there 3 days ago and the young lady found my account with no problem. I went in today, and the girl could not find my account. We tried a different phone number and she found it. Then she told me that the person I was sending it to was not in my account. I have sent at least 25 things to that address. So I tell her the address, she then asks for the zip code and I tell her I'm not sure of it. She reads off about 6 different zip codes expecting me to pick one. So she picks one and the computer corrects it. The girl's name was Brittany. Like I said, I'm in the store all the time and all the other employees are helpful and nice. However, this young lady needs some customer service training as she made me feel like I was stupid and bothering her. Now I assume all the other addresses that were stored in my account are gone. read more
