It's interesting because I have always had nothing less than fantastic service every time I have gone here. But yet the reviews say the exact opposite. The fees they charge are egregious and they don't warn you before they do it. I was the victim of identity theft and had to fax my taxes to the IRS. Not living in 1988 I don't have a fax machine. I dropped it off they told me it was going to be about a hour. Didn't mention anything about cost when I came to pick it up they charged me $134. I felt like I was a victim of theft again. Obviously I thought I would never fax anything from them again. This place is.4 miles from my home and I was returning a package with the postage paid so I thought I would go there. They wanted to charge $2.75 to print the label and $4.90 for an envelope with a "chip" I had already packaged it in the box it came in and it was a $12 return. He printed the label and rung up the envelope without telling me this. I walked out and will not return. read more

This store is so much more expensive than other I ups stores. Go elsewhere. And when you tell them you don't need something, they add it on the bill. I am not understanding how that can be! Why is eve saying see a manager: who would know. However I now know I will NOT use this location. I mailed the same thing again at another UPS with in fact two more items and it was $14 ( not $27). And it was going to be $7 more because she wanted to add paper in the box. I refused that. So someone there is making way too much money!!!!DO NOT GO HERE!!! Save yourself some trouble and pick a different UPS store. I send a lot of things via UPS overnight and they tend to be legal-sized documents, so they don't fit in the regular overnight envelopes, but rather the large, medium, or small express boxes. Half the time when I go in the store and ask for an express box, they try to charge me for packing materials or don't know what an express box is. The other half of the time they say they are out or that they only have one left. The employees also seem surprised when customers walk in the store. It's the weirdest thing. read more

This store helped me when I was in a jam, needing office supplies quick. They not only got me what they had, but worked with a nearby store for the rest of what I needed. The store was recently bought by the new owner and he's really trying to turn around the store's reputation, which brought a lot of the bad reviews. It's worth giving the location a second chance, for a new face and great service. read more

I entered the ups store attempting to return an Amazon product. While I was waiting in line I was trying to open my amazon app to show the clerk the return info. I am 60 years old and have hand trimmers making it hard. The clerk seemed upset that It took me a few seconds to get the app and decided to help the next person in line when I presented the information. He then said that the box it was in was not enough and that he couldn't send it like this yet not offering any other options. I asked him if he had a box that I could put it in and he replied that it would be twelve dollars. This seem like a lot of money so declined. As I went to pick up the box he snatched the label off of the box and said you won't be needing this. read more

Do not go to this UPS Store in Winderemere if you are black. They treat your packages like you are mailing contraband. I was sending a box of clothes to my son and they would not tape up the box, instead put the label inside the box and put it opened in the back - I'm sure to go through it. Usually, I sign a paper stating nothing illegal is being sent and they tape the package up in front of me and attach the label. Why my package went opened in the back with label inside is unheard of - how do I know what is being done to this box and items in it?? Worst customer service. When you call no one knows what to do!!!! I left two packages to be returned to Amazon and could not track them. When I called they had me hold on for a good ten minutes, I then spoke to two different people and was told they could not help me??? I asked if they could tell me if the packages had left them and they asked to call me back....never heard from then!!! Sad excuse for a UPS location. They Didn't even explain to me that he will charge me the handling fee and I thought that I was paying just for UPS cost to ship my item.. what a thieve!!!!!Stay away from this place...... Don't rely on this store opening on time. And when they do open late, expect to be yelled at by the employees. It would have been nice to have an apology for them opening late, but instead the employee was rude about it. She unlocked the door and instead of opening it and apologizing for being late, she walked away and with an attitude and yelled "it's open!!". I'm certainly not impressed with the service. read more
