The woman with spikes in her mouth put a Nuggets 260 dollar jersey in a package and taped it without the required paperwork. She proceeded to not tare the paper packet and get a new one. She believe it or not used an exacto knife to slice the tight bag open. I expressed concern because this was extremely expensive and any cut on the jersey would nulify my return. She assured me insurance I paid for would cover any damages to this jersey. Of course I am nervous. She seemed oblivious to care. I am concerned the insurance won't cover any damage. Also, the staff looks disinterested in attending to the long line behind me. It seems in my opinion they all feel entitled to provide the barest of customer service necessary to do the job THEY were hired to do. I am sure I am not the first to complain about the staff there. TY for the reply from MGMT. I would not have even complained if I was not almost 80 years old and the box was heavy. I've been going to the storein Westminster for years with my Amazon returns and never had one problem. I bring my Amazon packages in and every time I've returned the item in its original box. Sometimes that's all it comes in. When I've rewrapped them myself I've had to remove the UPS code and any codes that are on the box that it came in. Today at around 11:30 I took a box in that I didn't wrap but it was the same box it came in. I misread the return instructions so that is my error because it said customer will re-wrap. My complaint is the young man was very unhelpful he was very rude and kept saying I had to go and get the large white envelope that the cooler came in. That plastic covering was destroyed not only that I would have had to remove all the labels and UPS codes and stamps. I had the original box that it came in it was in good condition and I had folded the top. He told me he was unable to help me unless I have the original packaging which is contradictory to everything I've ever done there. Not only that he could have very easily offered me two pieces of tape and I could have taped the top he also did not tell me that I could go down to whole foods and they would take it no questions asked no box no label. I've had the most disappointing experience from start to finish. I needed a document federally apostilled, a process which takes upwards of 5 weeks. I trusted UPS to help me manage this so I knew when I could expect the document to be delivered to the government, and when it would be returned. The timing of this was imperative. When I went to the store, there were already a slew of issues. The first person helping me didn't have a clue what I needed or how to help me (they were probably new, probably not trained, not their fault). They had a single person in the store who really knew what they were doing and they were the only notary to boot. Every issue we could have run into we did - apparently the "system" was having issues printing the return label. After 30 minutes of back and forth, printing and reprinting we finally had something we could send off. The document made it to the government, five weeks later they approved and sent it back. Only... in the fray of everything going on, my apartment number was left off the return address envelope. So to ensure I got the package, I requested it be dropped off at an access point, paid an additional $6 to make sure I got this document. It was supposed to arrive Monday 5/11. Nothing. Tuesday 5/12 nothing. When I called UPS they just kept telling me to wait. Wednesday, nothing. Now it is completely lost in the ether. Every time I call either corporate OR the store directly they just keep telling me there's nothing they can do for me. I requested an investigation which I was told by corporate could only be done by the store. When I went to the store to ask for help, I was told only the manager could help me, but they would be in at 2. I expressed the severity of the issue and needing to be notified when they started the investigation. 2:00, 3:00, 4:00 nothing. So I call - "oh we got busy, but we did start the investigation". I asked, can I have the number so I can track this with UPS corporate. Store tells me - "oh, we don't have that number yet, but we'll send it to you." I requested that it be sent the same day, again, due to the importance of it. 5:00, 6:00 nothing. So I call "oh ma'am I don't have that number". So when they told me I would get it, and get it same day, they lied. And then I'm told by the store, they have "no control as to whether corporate actually does the investigation or not". Zero accountability, zero assistance across the board. read more

Shipped out a package here Monday and paid for a box to box my package. The girl helping refused to box it in front of me and just said "I'll take care of it". She DID NOT DO IT. The package I repeatedly emphasized needed to go out that day, did not go out until the next day. She knew how important it was and simply did not do it. Do not trust this UPS to get you packages shipped on time even when you pay for overnight. I will go out of my way never to return here. Completely untrustworthy. read more

Came in with some returns and my return label on my phone. Younger girls (2) working there immediately said I needed to go print it myself and lazily pushed me out the building with 0 help. Long story short I've returned things before and im not stupid..... So walked right back in the store not 5 mins later fully knowing they can print my label and guess what?!!!! A younger guy immediately pointed at the printers name and the link to connect to it! "Sound of printer making a label" These two lady's have been there awhile as I've seen them previous to this so I know that they knew they could print the label. They either because im a man decided to make it harder for me Or just plain are lazy. I'd prob just say both! As long as you don't get the younger girls you'll be in business. I've worked with just about everyone else that works here and they always take care of me politely and quickly. read more

We were traveling, and picked up some things at a local Goodwill to ship home. So, we went to the UPS Store for a pack and ship. Usually we pack our own things for shipping, and we are very experienced with packing and shipping because we run an Etsy shop and ship things all the time. When the clerk was assisting us, we thought a 12" x 12" x 12" box would be perfect for one of the two parcels. A guy who was not assisting us but seemed like he could've been a manager intervened, insisting that 14" x 14" x 14" would be much better. I thought, "Of course it's better for him. It costs more!" It was one of those "let the experts handle it" moments, the kind we all hate, and we probably could've predicted how it would turn out. We purchased insurance, which we don't ordinarily do -- because we were not feeling so confident about how our items would be packed. The 14" x 14" x 14" package arrived damaged, the box partly collapsed with not enough packing material. There was far too much room in the box. The contents shifted around during the journey, and one of the fragile items was damaged on arrival. The second of two packages arrived safely, but was not packed well, with a very expensive vase shifting around inside the package during transit. That package was also too large a box with not enough packing material. Fortunately, we do not have to use this UPS Store again, but we wanted to let everyone know what a poor packing job they did. They overcharged us, sent poorly packed boxes, and there was damage. Big thumbs down! Update: store owner tried to contact me to make things better. Nope, sorry! But here's some free advice. Listen to your customers and things will get better. read more

Wow, this store has gotten a lot of hate!. I've had nothing but good experiences here. I have rented a mailbox here for over a year. I only knock one star off because, as others have mentioned, UPS doesn't automatically renew the mailbox, which is weird. You get emails reminding you that your contract end is coming, and it seems like that would mean it would just roll over on the same card. But you do have to let them know you want to renew. That policy is almost certainly up to UPS corporate so there's not really anything this store can do about it. Maybe tell people when they sign up that they'll have to actively renew each year. Anyway, the service has always been good. Rowan is extremely professional and friendly. Everyone else is pleasant enough. I don't need people to be delighted to see me every time I come in to pick up or return something. I've never found anyone rude. And they are usually *very* quick. This location isn't convenient to my home anymore but I continue to use it because I know it's going to be good. I think that's a pretty high recommendation! read more

I've had a mailbox here for a little over a year now and this review has been long overdue... I visit about 3 times a week to pickup mail, and I've always felt like my time was valued. They're quick, efficient, and easy to work with. You can get in and out in a jiffy. Staff has had some turnover but whom ever is the hiring manager knows who to trust with their store. What a customer service nightmare. I overnighted a $500 dress that was supposed to be delivered on 6/9 via UPS for my engagement photos on 6/13. It did not arrive so we asked (paid) UPS to reroute the delivery to Telluride, where our photos were being taken.. I paid $100 to have it rerouted with a 'guaranteed delivery or your money back' date of 6/11. I received an update that it was delayed and wouldn't be delivered until the evening of 6/14, after we would have returned home. I paid another $100 to reroute it back to Broomfield but this time to the store because we were going to be out of town. I called and said that we would be unable to pick it up until 6/27 but was told that they would be sending it back on 6/22 regardless. On 7/12 , after noticing I hadn't received a refund, I looked and saw that it had been shipped back to this location on 7/7 (I received no notification of this). We moved to Denver and were not close enough to make a quick stop once we realized. My fiancé went by the store today and was told they don't have the package, despite the tracking number stating that it is at this facility and the delivery confirmation document linked with my account stating that it is there and was checked in with an employee on 7/7. After expressing frustration, my fiancé was told that there have been a lot of new hires recently and that it is likely one of them put it in an outgoing pile. I then called to confirm and was connected with James, who was incredibly rude, and proceeded to place the blame on me, noting that from his "understanding the package has been there for some time and they had no choice but to return it." The most baffling part is that no one from UPS can tell me where the package is.. we were provided a number (by this branch) for the commerce city sorting site but to no surprise, that number is out of service. We were then provided a corporate number but can not be connected with an actual human being due to their automated system, despite my persistency. Absolutely trash customer service. If I could give negative stars on both this branch and UPS as a company, I would. If they weren't one of two delivery services, I'd refuse to use UPS entirely. read more

We were there for notary services, and she wasn't even willing to have a conversation with us about proper documents, and unwilling to help us in any way. This morning I was there well after the opening time of 8 am only to find it closed. Had to drive to another UPS location about 20 minutes away. When trying to run a business these inconveniences add up. I cannot take a chance in the future they will be open and as a result will not patronize this store. They of course will use the excuse that there was snow last night/this morning, but then why would you own a UPS store in Colorado if some snow (not a huge storm) kept you from opening? Go to Phoenix. And why did the other UPS store 20 minutes away open at 8 am....on time? Pathetic reliability. So they are open til 6:30 on weekdays, which is awesome! They also offer free tape, another added bonus. My 2 big issues are: 1. Pricing - I know they are here to make a profit, and they mark up a bit from regular UPS pricing, (my hubby used to work for a UPS Store) but there is no need to almost double the cost of shipping. I was going to mail a book, in a paper envelope, to Vegas, by GROUND. That was going to run me $15. No effin' way am I gonna pay that much! $7-$8, ok, but $15... take a flyin' leap at a rollin' donut, ladies and gents. I'll just stop by USPS tomorrow and ship it media mail for $4. Thanks! 2. Customer Service - There is a seemingly afeminate clerk who always is working, named Michael. Now, I may stereotyping, but. his eyebrows are more manicured than mine, his makeup is flawless, and his vocal inflections have a certain flair for overly pronounced "s" sounds, mixed with california valley girl... this screams "batting for the same team" to me, and being the HUGE HAG that I am and LOVING my gays to effing pieces, I REALLY try to give this guy a new chance everytime I see him and I'm super nice and chatty. He either hates me, or hates the world. He is so rude, tudey, and snarky to me. Super bummer, cuz he gorgeous and I wanna tell him so, but I can't cuz he is always such a jerk! Recently i had to return a very heavy item. The second that I walked into the store I was greated by 2 ppl - which was so nice and welcoming. Nowadays, many customer service ppl often ignore customers, unless the customer directly seeks s/he out first. Lennon went above and beyond to help me. I didn't even realize I had to print a label and he offered assist and walked me through doing it there at the store. In addition, every employee was wearing a mask - which I really appreciated. Nickel and dimed... Came with two returns, labels all printed and ready to do, needed a box for one. They charged me $4 for the box, which is fine, happy to pay that. Then another $3 for peanuts (it was a shoebox and the box was about the same size), and $2 for "packing services". Which involves putting together the box and putting some stuff in it. I had brought tape myself so was happy to just put it together and pay for the box. He didn't seem happy about that suggestion at all, and since he would be handling my package, I decided to just pay it and be done, rather than risk anything happening to it. I have been using this location for shipping services since they opened. Even when they are super busy I have always had great experiences with the service and the staff. Today, Nancy shipped a package for me that the USPS had already tried (and failed) to ship because the recipient is in a brand new building and USPS "couldn't find it". Juan you should have left this review alone. Now I have to call you out. At no time did you say the package would be sent regular mail. Yes, you were the one that helped me at around 11 am on 12/18/17. Not a Friday. Not an afternoon. As far as guaranteeing delivery--- no, the word guarantee was not used, instead the estimated delivery was 12/20/17. It was printed on the receipt too. When I checked the tracking number and was surprised it was sent regular mail, it showed the post office hadn't even received the package until 12/20/17. Again, my packages sent regular mail (by me at the post office) all arrived at their destination in a timely fashion. While I understand the challenges of mailing a package this late I certainly made a mistake trusting your store. I should have gone to the post office. I do not care for your claim that I was told it would be USPS and that I was told there would be no guarantee of delivery. Those statements are complete lies. I did ask if it would arrive before Christmas and you said yes, the estimated delivery would be the 20th, which is what was printed on the receipt. If you had written this falsehood sooner than the 17th of Jan. I would still have had the receipt and would post a photo. Once the package arrived after Christmas I threw it out. You can't keep everything. I won't be using your store again. read more

I have been to this location many many times but this time was treated badly. The guy interrogated me like a criminal regarding the contents of my package, then since I had frozen food in a Styrofoam box (dry ice) he said " OOh! you have to poke holes in it" he proceeded to use a pen to poke holes in it! I had to tell him "Hey! you're going to poke holes in the food!" He didn't care. Then he decided it had to be repacked in a box so he charged me for that too. I have always sent this food like this from this location with no repacking and no trouble from anyone else. He was trying to boost sales I'm sure, he charged me $10.00 over the actual shipping charge. I will never ship from there again. read more

I heard this used to be a sh***y store, but now they have a new management team. The new boss and his staff are extremely friendly and helpful!! I sent 4 international packages with them and the paperwork was tedious... The lady working with me on that was very patient and organized. She recommended several shipping options that were relatively cheaper, but also fast and safe. The packages were safely delivered even before the guaranteed dates! Overall, very pleasant experience with this "new" store! Would recommend them to anybody, especially if you are shipping internationally! read more

My doctors sent me a pre-paid UPS air package to send back my oxygen test in. All I had to do was drop it off at the store. When I enter the lady says that everything is fine and it's pre-paid so I leave. Within 20 minutes I receive a phone call from the UPS store saying they can't send it because I only need ground shipping not air package. So I drive back to the store. They refused to send my package regardless of location because it was in the state, So I had to buy a 5 dollar package slip to put in. And then pay for postage. The staff penny and dimes me every time. The staff here is horrible. I wish I never had to return. read more

I went to this store with 9 envelopes containing the same exact thing. I paid for them to be sent first class mail. They did not mark them in front of me. Within 2 days two were returned to me for insufficient postage. I put stamps on them and moved on. The rest made it to their destination, however some were also marked insufficient postage. I have a feeling the difference in what they charged me and in what they marked them was additional profit for them. I will not be returning. read more

Do not trust Shannon, the manager. She is an outright Liar. Called and asked that my mail be forwarded on the 1st. All was ok'd. Come the 6th, still didn't have my mail. First class usually takes 4-5 days at the most including the weekend. So I called and Shannon swore she sent it the 1st and made up a story about the post office having sorting problems. I checked my credit card for charges and lo and behold new charges on the 6th. Finally received my mail on the 11th, with a receipt dated the 6th.
