I was referred first to the kiosk to process my Amazon return because the registers were occupied. I chose to wait bc my item was bulky. The store is pretty busy, small and parking in Westfield can be a bit of a hassle but I'd return if I'm in town. The man who helped me was fine. Got the job done. read more

On March 4, 2026, at approx 9am, I arrived at the store to complete merchandise returns. According to the store's posted operating hours, the location opens at 8:00 AM. However, when I arrived, the store was closed. Another patron and I waited outside until 9:17 AM when an employee--whom I believe may be the manager and possibly the only employee regularly working at this location--arrived and opened the store. This was not an isolated incident. On numerous occasions in the past, the store has either opened late or temporarily closed during posted business hours while the employee left the premises to run personal errands. There have also been instances where I was asked to wait outside because the employee was leaving the store to obtain breakfast, during which time the store was closed to customers. When the employee arrived on March 4, I calmly expressed my frustration regarding the repeated delays and closures during the posted hours of operation. At the time, I had my two-year-old child with me. Rather than addressing the concern professionally, the employee became visibly upset and defensive and began verbally confronting me about why she was late. The employee then chose to serve the other waiting customer while refusing service to me. She subsequently locked me out of the store and waited for police to arrive. I contacted the police myself, and when they arrived they informed me that businesses may legally refuse service. However, the circumstances strongly suggest that this refusal was based on a personal grievance rather than any legitimate business or safety concern. As a result of this situation, I was forced to drive approximately three miles to another UPS Store location in order to complete my returns. While there, I was told that several residents from my neighborhood frequently travel to that location because they prefer not to deal with the employee at the Plainfield store or because the store is often closed with a sign stating that the employee will return shortly. read more

This UPS Store is a bit tough to find at first. It's across the street from the side of the local post office. If you find it once you'll find it again without a problem, and there is a pretty good sized UPS Store sign on the shop. The store is a pretty small one, but well kept and features PO Boxes and other services. I was there to return an Amazon package so the transaction was quick. The person behind the counter seemed a bit distracted the entire time, but to be fair there was a UPS truck outside being loaded up. I think if it had been calmer he may have been friendlier and/or more attentive. Once you find it, this is a good branch to go to. It's out of the way and will likely not be super overcrowded at any point. read more

So disappointed in the service I received here. Came in with a large box shipping across the country. The man working told me he would give me an estimate first since it would be expensive. He measured and gave me a estimate a lot more than I expected. I asked about the price for a smaller box and he measured and said it would be about a $30 - $40 savings. After thinking about it for a bit, (he could clearly see I was not excited about the price) instead of leaving and reboxing, I just said go ahead. As he was running my card, the other man working says, "why didn't you cut the box down for her." The man who was helping me shot him a look and gave a motion for him to be quiet. I was shocked and said, "well that isn't nice. I didn't realize you could do that for me." The two men then start arguing because the man helping me got extremely frazzled and was barking at him for saying something out loud. He was saying thing like, "why don't you come over here and cut her box down." It was very uncomfortable and the man helping me started yelling and slamming my receipt saying he didn't even know how to do a return. Being that I was shipping off my deceased mother's clothing to have a memory blanket made and I was feeling emotional - I simply said - it's too late now, just give me the receipt. I didn't want to get upset or have any more of a scene. I never write these reviews but couldn't stop thinking about this the rest of the night. What a jerk. read more

The guys who work and run this store are probably some of the rudest, unfriendly and most unprofessional people I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with.  My business ships a lot of packages and one would think they would welcome the business, well apparently not these people.  My partner dropped off a bunch of packages as we normally do on a daily basis, but this time they made it clear by their rude, condescending and flippant attitude that they would rather not have our business.  Lucky for us there is another store not to far in Kenilworth so we will go there now.  But it really amazes me people don't understand the simple truth that kindness is free and it goes a long way! read more

Ok its a UPS Store. But its as good as it gets. I called first to find the hours and they were extremely friendly on the phone. I arrived right before closing. They were still very helpful, patient and friendly. This is the only UPS Store with USAA check deposit services in the area. read more

Inept staff and highly abrasive. On more then one occasion I brought to the owners attention that the place smelled of pot. The girl literally walked in from outside after finishing her business and stunk to the high heavens. She still works there despite this and I have taken my business elsewhere. Hate to not support a local business, but it seems the owner wants to hire cheap help which is a poor representation of his business. Go to Cranford, no issue with parking and the staff is much more professional. read more

Excellent all around service from the Owner down to ALL the employees. They are very professional and courteous from the moment you walk in the door! I recently had a number of things to be notarized and witnessed for a home sale which was time sensitive. Once I walked in and explained myself I was immediately put at ease and the documents were expertly and efficiently witnessed and notarized. Needless to say I was super pleased and immediately determined that others must become aware of this awesome service. This IS the place to go for all your shopping and business needs. I went in for notary public. The young woman working did not stop what she was doing and just told me that he wasn't there. I asked if there were specific hours that he worked and she said "I am on vacation next week, so I don't know. You will need to call." There was ONE other customer that was doing her own thing. Just RUDE. I get this is New Jersey, but work on your customer service. read more

Every time I walk into this store I am greeted promptly with a "Hello" and "How can I help you?" This occurs every time and all of the customer facing personnel are eager to help. I am usually just dropping off a package but I have had to purchase shipping supplies or have shipping rates calculated and the service is always excellent. Do NOT use for International Shipping. If I could rate 'ZERO stars' i would. 2 weeks ago I paid $77 to ship a small gift to the UK for my daughters 16th. I asked if there were any additional taxes, customs duties or brokerage fees I needed to pay, or additional paperwork and was told no. So the attempted delivery wanted to charge an additional $53.38 for 'customs duty and brokerage fees'. Googling will show that this is a long-standing complaint against UPS practices when it comes to international shipping, where they act as their own broker to charge the additional admin fees of processing the customs duties and taxes in country rather than point of shipping. Franchise should know how to ship internationally and have the requisite customs paperwork and process what would be lower charges at the point of shipping. Never will I use UPS in Westfield again, USPS only form now on. so that is a lifetime loss of business. Just bad, bad bad..... read more
