Despite it being December 23, the store employee was kind and helpful over the phone and asked specific questions about how he could be most helpful. He offered to print a job for me even though the store was closing in two hours if I could email it to him. Once I arrived, Jazz (store manager) was so courteous and welcoming. He did not make me feel bad that the store was closing soon, but rather took the time to make sure my print job was done correctly and apologized for the brief wait. Jazz was exceedingly polite and called me Madam, which is a lovely change from ma'am and made me feel quite sophisticated in my frazzled pre Christmas state. Worst customer service ever. I was trying to ship two packages with a UPS account and they entered the information and received an error code. they said we can't ship the packages because of the error code. I asked if the associate could have the Manager take a look and he was not helpful at all. James should be ashamed how he treated me. He has zero integrity. He told me I should drive my packages to the east coast where they have corporate store. He should be fired! read more

These guys were great. I needed two docs notarized. They not only did it immediately but they helped me find two witnesses so the document could be completed. Had the WORST experience here! Owner is a total jerk and is condescending! I waited in line for about ten minutes and he acted like I was invisible and asked the guy behind me if he needed help when he got there after me. I told him I had a bunch of Christmas presents to send and he handed me a sheet with a bunch of dimensions for a box like I'm supposed to just know, I went ahead and waited for the other person to help me. He gave me a box that was WAY too big, but at least he was kind to me and tried. I said I needed a smaller box but since I already taped the box the owner said I need to pay for it. I told him it's the box that his employee gave me after measuring everything. After I told him I'm just going to go He said I costed him money because I don't know what I'm doing. Of course I don't, it's not what I do for a living. I've hardly ever shipped anything so I needed some guidance which he was not helpful with at all. He got so angry and started yelling and swearing at me. Then when I started swearing back at him he told me if I swear one more time I have to leave (which I already was) He was so worried about a $20 box little did he know I would've spent HUNDREDS of dollars to ship these presents. I went to USPS after and it was a great experience! If you need to ship anything from washougal do not go here. The owner is a joke and it is despicable the way he runs his store! My wife called me today because she was shipping some stuff to Africa for are som in the military, they had no clue what they were doing. Finally they called her back and told her to come in to fill out the paperwork and then told her it was $800. To shop $80 with of stuff. After checking further, with other options, went to the washable post office and it literally was $64.! Stay away clear of price gouging in crappy customer service. read more

Elijah was very rude and demeaning towards my girlfriend when she and I went to return her Amazon packages. There was a mix up when scanning the labels and there were probably about 10 packages in all that needed to be returned. One of the labels said it had already been scanned and when he asked if we wanted to start over we said yes and he leaned his head back, sighed, and rolled his eyes very disrespectfully. Then he made a very condescending comment afterwards to her. Do better UPS. read more

They do not deliver the service they promise. Earlier in the week while inquiring about shipment times, was told that anything in Washington and Oregon can arrive one day via ground - a 'great benefit of using UPS.' I had a busy days Wednesday and Thursday and thought, 'no problem, I'll wait till Friday morning to mail this package' for Saturday arrival. Arrived at the UPS store today, and they inform me my package will arrive Monday. Certainly not as the employee promised earlier in the week. Evidently, the weekend doesn't 'count'. So, I paid $58.26 to guarantee it'd arrive on Saturday. With my work schedule, I couldn't take to time to go to USPS. Oh, and my 'quick trip' lengthy - due to having to name / list all the contents of an envelope (all under $50 - small birthday gifts - wrapped with a card) AND present my ID (for security reasons). What????? It'll be the last time I go to that store - which is sad because it's convenient. read more

My husband and I own a small business and live in Washougal and we really appreciate everyone at this store. We drop in at least three times a week to take care of some business and everyone is helpful, kind, and always willing to find the best option for whatever we are shipping. This is very convenient spot for me to get all my UPS needs handled as well as some printing and binding done. I even got my passport done here. Liz, the store manager is amazing - - calm, cool and professional under pressure (as they can get busy often). Contrary to another reviewer's claim, I observed a number of people dropping off prepaid, prelabeled packages for UPS w/o additional charges. It's not a USPS outlet/store, so if you need something to go through the postal service, just go down the road a mile to the post office, but for UPS shipping, printing, copying and such, I'll come here every time! read more

Love this place for making copies! When I had a business -I came here frequently. I've always been treated professionally. When I need help they're friendly & happy to assist. Love the supplies (paper cutter, staplers clips) that are on the counter for customer use, and nice big counter space so once copies are made you can get to work here if needed. DO NOT USE USPS DROP OFF SERVICES HERE. I left a prepaid USPS package here 2 weeks ago, and there is no record of it. Receipts for USPS packages are not given b/c they are not scanned at the store. I contacted the store, and they said that the Postal Service does not/will not scan packages until they arrive in the Portland mail station. They have since posted a sign that says that the store is not responsible for USPS packages dropped off at the store, but it would have been nice to know, because that package was worth hundreds of dollars. Very disappointed, because it means someone either lost or took the package. I can't speak about the other services here. read more

Liz, the store manager, was incredibly helpful with my problem. I came in to see if they could help convert some labels I was trying to print. Liz went above and beyond to fix the issue, even calling other UPS stores to see if they had the correct computer program to make the conversion. In the end, we were not able to remedy the problem, to not fault of UPS store. Liz provided outstanding customer service, she was kind, friendly and the beyond helpful. If I could give negative stars, this is where they would apply. I was assured my package would arrive over night. It arrived 2 days later. When I called to check on my package the "customer service" worker asked me if I wanted him to close down the store so he could go to the terminal and check on it. This sounds like a lie, but I believe it either! I called the manager on the next day, the day after that, and you get the idea... that was three weeks ago now! No call back. No answer to ANY of my calls. You'd think a reputable business like a UPS Store would promptly refund my money for the inconvenience of the delayed package and you would also think the manager would want to know how her employee (Michael I believe was his name) talks to customers, but we are both wrong. Since, I have been using FedEx and letting everyone know of my experience. I hope this helps someone who plans on "guaranteed overnight arrival." read more

Wow is all I can say. I sent several packages today and because I was there I inquired if they carried stamps (yes) and bought 2 rolls of stamps (200). In no area of the store nor the front desk is there a notice of a "surcharge" tacked onto the face value of stamps NOR was I told this when buying them. As I returned home to scan my receipt I realized I had been charged a whopping SIX dollars PER ROLL ADDITIONAL on top of the current face value of what a toll of regular first class stamps cost for a grand total of $12 and my first indication of surcharges to USPS articles is at the bottom of my RECEIPT. I hadn't noticed before I left, because again I had also shipped several boxes. I called to inquire thinking this must have been an error in the grandiose amount of the surcharge and happened to get the owner, Donna. Read the reviews and you'll see she's mentioned several times. She was immediately incredibly rude to me asking if Safeway posts the price differences between themselves and their competitors for MILK. Well, no of course they don't. Because they price of the milk is right there on the shelf to start with! AND, when I buy stamps at the checkout lane in Safeway, or the like, they don't tell me the price of the stamps because they charge the current first class postage rate and not some inflated price. Donna then became rather defensive stating she's not "some government funded" this or "large corporation" that and that my $12 is a "convenience fee" so I don't have to wait in line at the post office. A simple "I'm very sorry this wasn't clear" or an "I'm so sorry my staff didn't notify you BEFORE your purchase, I'll work on training" would have been a far more reasonable and digestible approach than to become defensive and rude with me telling me "I should have known" about the unmentioned15% fee. In then end it comes down to clarity, transparency and simply behaving in a manner of professionalism when a customer calls with a concern (rather than berating them). All are lacking here and ultimately will keep me from a return trip, even in a pinch. read more
