I was expecting a parcel from Dublin, Ireland, and the sender had selected UPS to deliver. 1. First Notice arrived on January 07 stating that they were preparing the package for customs review. 2. Wednesday January 08 I received a notice stating that Delivery was scheduled for Thursday January 09 between 10:45 - 2:45. When I checked I was informed that delivery would be at "end of day". Does that mean 5 pm or 7 pm or...? 3. On Friday Jan 10 at 09:28 I was notified that Delivery has been rescheduled to Monday 13, 10:45 - 2:45 4. A second notice on January 10 indicated that the package had cleared customs and was on its way for Monday 13 delivery. 5. Monday jan. 13 I received a notice at midday notifying me that the Delivery has been rescheduled for January 14, 10:45 - 2:45. 6. Parcel arrived on January 14. UPS played fast and loose with my time, since I had to remain at home awaiting the delivery. Moreover, if I wanted to change the delivery date I WOULD HAVE TO PAY! AND THIS, EVEN THOUGH THEY HAD CHANGED THE DAY OF DELIVERY. UPS has conveniently [for themselves] shifted everything to AI so there is no one we can talk with. They just lock you in their schedule and change it without any concern to your time. My letter to the CEO of UPS Carol Tome did not get a response. If there are others out there who have also suffered the same indignity, perhaps it's time we did something. We could start by writing to the politicians and the media. I believe that airlines now have to indemnify passengers fot flights delayed beyond a certain time and can be fined by the appropriate board. Why should something similar not apply to courier Services? I certainly intend to forward my complaint! read more

The worst! I went there to print something! So he told me black white is $x and colour is $x, which is totally fair price. I only need to print like 3pages. When I asked how much, he said "I'll give you the receipt" And he asked me how I would pay, I said "visa" He basically grabbed the card from my hand and tapped it without me looking at how much he charged me!!! Wtf?!? Then I realized there was a charge called " computer rental $2.5 I asked him what's that, he pretended he didn't hear me and left to the back. I asked twice and he never answered! I'll be upfront and say I didn't actually visit the store, but I did call to ask them to forward a package to California from a company that shipped only domestically within Canada. I have recently started using UPS (actually suppliers in the US send items via UPS). UPS has yet to deliver the items when they said they would even though I switched to picking up at a UPS store instead of home delivery to avoid problems. I went to the Yaletown UPS shortly after 3:00pm to find the store closed. Purchasing products from US suppliers and having them shipped via UPS is shockingly expensive, and the service sucks. read more

This is a ZERO-Star experience. Don't go to this store. The worst UPS Store. 1) Kept asking me for a delivery slip when it wasn't even a thing for UPS reroute-by-phone. 2) Kept saying my package wasn't there despite she clearly saw my package was delivered to her store on HER computer. 3) Kept saying her log book didn't track the arrival of my package. Okay so maybe her store also f'ed up logging shipments, which is bad. 4) My package was right behind. She barely looked. And because the label was covered by one piece of paper, she couldn't bother. I had to ask her to check the package again. You see, even if I have a delivery slip, she won't find my package. 5) Said my name wasn't a match to my ID but also said my name on the package's shipping label was covered. Well, if it's covered, how could she say it wasn't a match? In addition, she answered a call during my conversation with her. (Rude.) She took down credit card number, expiry month and year, the security code on the back of the MasterCard on a piece of paper in the counter (clearly assessable from both sides of the counter) and echoed back all info loudly back to th caller. Everyone at the store (another woman and I) could hear every single number. We had a parcel shipped from Montreal on Sept 8th and were told to expect delivery by end of day today. Now our tracking tells us the package is held for pickup....we did not request this....tried calling UPS for answers on 3 different occasions this afternoon. Could not get anyone in Canada nor any help to find out what happened to our parcel. We were promised a call back which has not materialized.... My husband and I will no longer use UPS for any deliveries of any kind after the craziness we have been experiencing. I warn all business owners not to use their services either, unless you want to lose customers. What started as a business order for supplies Has become a serious saga of trying to get our packages. The order started its journey Oct 7, 2019. Since then we have been fighting to get the package. We have spoken to "the manager" 3 times now, been promised it will be delivered "today" over 5 times with no delivery. To get this package we have missed work to wait, paid my son to sit upstairs and listen for the door on 3 separate occasions and even had my brother-in-law come up from Wetaskiwin to Edmonton to sit in our house. The staff in this shop are really friendly and honest. I haven't used their mailbox services, but I've gone there to use their office services such as photocopiers and fax. I accidentally left my passport in the photocopier, and they had it waiting for me when I ran back in. I was so relieved! But the prices on those services are really high. Faxing costs an arm and a leg, there's an initial charge, a dollar per page plus long distance fees! I would recommend seeking out another shop or borrowing the office fax/copier! But if you need to send something or get a P.O. Box, they're nice people so it would make for a happy mail stop. read more

Really awful service from the man at the counter. So rude and not at all helpful. Walked away in the middle of a discussion to go attend someone behind me. Refused to listen to my questions and basically just barked whatever he had to say at me. I'm almost sure he has my package, but refused to help me in anyway. I left because I felt so angry and did not want to become that angry shouty person in a store. If he is the only employee I'm not sure what to do to get my package. I'm surprised to see so many negative reviews about this store. I go there quit often and usually deal With the older guy and sometimes his wife and son. He's always seemed quit friendly and helpful to me and I find his son and wife quit pleasant to deal with as well. I've had photo copies done, I've shipped parcels etc and never had any bad experiences and I've used them 20-30 times. It seems to me like a small ma and pa business and with English being their second language I'd cut them some slack. I've always had quick service and never any issues. read more

Would give 0 stars if I could. Don, the co-owner, is the rudest person I've ever met. I went to his store today to pick up a package - I shop online a lot and ALL my UPS packages end up here (unfortunately) - and without even looking, he tells me it's not there. I asked him to check again and I explained how EVERY UPS package I've ever had to pick up ends up here. He immediately got bristly and went into the next room to 'look'. He was 'looking' for less than 5 seconds then essentially kicked me out of the store because I didn't have the yellow slip with the tracking number. I left, and then came back with the tracking number from the UPS website pulled up on my phone and asked that he track the package because I found the tracking number. He pretty much refused and told me to just call UPS and to leave his store. I finally managed to convince him to look it up amidst him scowling at me and telling me what a bad customer I am...for asking to track a package. Yeah. UPS head office should close this location down because it's giving the company a bad name. read more

Neglected to write a review about my experience here this spring. Having had similar issues at a nearby UPS Store, am now posting to make sure others know what to expect: The older man working at the store was very, very rude. He shouted at me when I inquired about a fee he wanted to charge me for picking up the package (UPS Canada redirected the package here at my request but never told me about any fee). The words 'please' and 'thank you' never crossed his lips. They charge a fee to pay by plastic. Avoid unless you want a Seinfeld-style shipping experience. read more

This company was recommended by Maynards for shipping art. They went twice to pick up my purchase ( I gave them the wrong time the first time) and then brought it to their store to ship. I changed my mind about shipping it and they could not have been more kind, understanding or helpful. They insisted on wrapping the piece, offered to take it to my car and then refused payment even though they could have easily charged my for MY MISTAKE. Old fashioned family run business. Lots of friendly smiles from father and son while mom means business and likes to get the job done and done well.Would highly recommend them for shipping. read more
