This store's customer service is THE BEST! I was setting up a fax machine in my home and I needed to test my fax machine by sending a fax. I called several places that had fax services and I asked if I could send them a test fax to see if my set up was working and none of them would help me out because I wasn't a paying customer, except for this UPS location at Christie and Bloor. Not only were they happy to recieve a test fax they also sent one back WISHING ME A HAPPY THANKSGIVING!! Now I am sure my fax machine is working I dont live in the area but I would go there if I did because they were more than willing to help out a random person who found their number and needed a little help! I am very thankful! read more

The staff in the place well, the problem is their parcel that they could not deliver and find a package, nor drawing them a map of the location, giving them all the references of the streets where they had to deliver the package or contacting the person who would receive the package. This package leaves a lot to be desired, consider other shipping options. It took almost 3 weeks to return my package. I just wasted my time and my money. In addition, they didn't even consider giving me a bonus for their ability to deliver a package read more

Avoid at all cost. Disgusting people run this place. Passport photos got rejected by the Passport Office due to a glare on the photo. They would not retake the photo arguing they have a policy of no children, even though they took original photos of my kids. CHOOSE ANEX PHOTO INSTEAD. Professional and friendly. read more

I went to this UPS location to send a fax. I asked for proof that the fax was received. The lady serving me told me that companies don't give confirmation that faxes go through and insisted that the fax did go through and they received it. She charged me $21 for a 9 page fax. I received an email the following day from the company I was trying to send the fax to and they told me they never got any fax from me. I won't go here again. She refused to give me proof and lied about confirmation. read more

The drivers here are absolutely comical. I'm sitting in my living room waiting for a delivery and I see a package FLYING from the left side of my house to the right side (where the door is). I look outside and the delivery guy is standing halfway up my neighbour's driveway. Delivering it to my door would require walking the length of another house, so he just lobbed it across the property and let it fall on my walkway. I guess he still needs to work on his aim--that way, next time he might just be able to hit the front porch. read more

Thank goodness for this UPS location! My grad school application was due today, which of course means that two days ago I was in quite a state as I tried to find someone who could ship the thing to Alberta. I went to two shipping places (both sort of grungy and staffed by folks who clearly weren't the least bit interested in my desperate quest) and neither could help me. By the time I reached this UPS location I was giving up hope and at my wits end, already envisioning myself going through the whole application process again next year because I waited too long to ship the application. Happily, we won't find out what might have happened if my shipping efforts were once again thwarted, because this UPS location saved me. As soon as I walked in I knew this place was different. It's convenient (steps from Christie station), clean, bright, and organized. The fellow working answered my desperate "please tell me you can get this there by tomorrow" with a reassuringly confident "of course we can" and then proceeded to make that happen while being polite and patient. The cost was less than I'd been quoted by either of the other places I visited. And (the real point, I suppose) the package arrived exactly on schedule, less than 24 hours after I entered the UPS store. UPS FTW! read more

I use this UPS store everyday for my Buttonboy business, we outsource our printing and have had great results! The Printing is very good for the price, you can even pre order 1000 prints at a discount and uses them when needed! totally cool. Perfect for businesses big or small. I only use the best for my customers and this location works for me. I see some complaints in this review page, but like I said for over two years I have gone 5 days out of 7 that's over 500 visits, and I have had few problems. Looks like some people just like to complain:( Call -Dylan James if you need buttons just visit www.buttonboy.net read more

I was on vacation in the neighborhood but had a lot of work to do that required fax, printing, mail, and more. From my intial inquiry, this store showed exceptional customer service from Ahoora and the rest of the staff. My emails were answered promptly and the staff in the store always quickly assisted with all tasks - printing and faxing. What really stands out for me is that one fax had to go out but there was connectivity problem at the other end. Ahoora and staff took over and stayed on task with this one until the fax was received at the other end. I could not have gotten my work done without them. read more

Bad experience - no communication about delivery and things returned to unhelpful location out of town where no-one can access them. They don't claim to be UPS and while dealing with UPS ask you to call UPS in the store. Avoid! read more

Good customer service and done my faxing on time. I went to the shop to fax a document and the lady on the front desk was very helpful.

I just had a terrible experience at the Bloor Street UPS. I have discovered that there is no guarantee of delivery or refund. I payed $48 for a promised service which was not delivered. I sent a letter express, which was supposed to arrive at its location the next morning. It did not arrive. The recipient called UPS and was informed that the package had been misrouted and would get there the next day. Next day delivery was useless as she was leaving that day on a trip and needed the document that morning. I called the UPS store. The person there said that he would look into it and, yes, if it had been UPS', fault I would receive a refund. He got back to me, an hour later saying that it had been delayed in Customs and, for that reason, was not UPS responsibility. I called UPS directly and they said that it seemed the item had been scanned incorrectly, showing a misrouting, but that it was in fact a Customs delay. The UPS store has refused to offer any compensation, because, according to the second story, it was not in UPS' control. Not only does it seem odd that the story was changed, but I was never, at any point, informed that this was a possibility. When I mentioned this, the UPS store clerk said that it happens quite often. I would never have sent the letter express at the cost of $48 had I known that I was only paying for the HOPE that it might arrive there on time. I will never use UPS again. read more

The Toronto Office? Your unpartment? The World Corporate Headquarters? The UPS Store AKA Mail Boxes Etc. is the stunt double of shipping and receiving universe. I have used many of these over the years - far too many. Happy to say this one is among the best. Well managed and staffed with a super convenient location just outside of the Christie TTC station. They lost a star for occasionally being closed during stated opening hours with no advance notice. read more

TRIED TO GOUGE ME TODAY. I entered the premises and everyone was kind. I needed to send something within the city. I asked for an envelope to ship something and I was told there is no insurance on envelopes (not true). He told me that in order to insure the package, it would have to be packed in store (Also not true). I was ultimately quoted $73 before taxes to send a very small item that could easily fit into a common small envelope. I explained that there must be another way, I worked at a Mail Boxes Etc for a number of years and I knew what I wanted done. At which point, some stories changed. I knew he was trying to rip me off, he knew he was trying to rip me off and his employee also knew. I thanked them and left the store. I got what I wanted done at FedEx for LITTERALLY less than 1/3 of what I was quoted. I reported the incident to UPS head office and if I were you, I would head to a different location all together. Should the manager on duty like to reach out, I would gladly love to hear a breakdown of the numbers he provided and explain why the less expensive options weren't even given. Avoid if possible. read more

After having been at another location on king street where my package was supposed to be according to UPS' notice, I was redirected to this location after having called UPS customer service. I was informed this store would close at 6.30, which was enough time for me to get there. Upon arriving there at 6.20, the place was completely closed already, with no notice whatsoever on the door which would explain why the place would have closed earlier... Terrible service from UPS and this store... read more

One of the worst customer service experiences of my life. I went to pick up a package that I had been notified was delivered to this location. The woman working seemed annoyed that I was even in the store. Upon looking for the package for a few minutes claimed that she "couldn't find it" and "would take to long to look" and tried to send me on my way. I insisted that it was there and upon looking further she found it and very rudely completed the transaction. Made for a very uncomfortable and unwelcome experience. Will be using Fedex from now on. read more
