There was a special delivery project I needed to help out with at work. We needed a company that was willing to think and work outside of the box (pardon the pun). Despite approaching several companies, these guys were the only one of two companies to respond. They gave me a rough idea of pricing. I found this to be helpful as we didn't quite have our addresses ready yet. When it was time to ship, everything went as planned and they delivered the gifts as requested, in a very timely fashion. When there was one hiccup and it was thought that a gift had been missed or not received, they were able to quickly get us the singing information (despite it being the Friday afternoon before Christmas). If you saw someone hauling a giant monitor downtown in an open box the other day, that was me and…read moremy coworkers. We received a faulty monitor from Amazon and needed to return it. The return shipping label that we printed out was for Purolator. There are Purolator drop boxes downtown but from pics on Google Maps there was no way they were going to fit a monitor inside of them. That left us wondering where else we could drop off a Purolator package. Some sources say that you can drop it off at a Canada Post but with such a large/expensive item, we didn't want to chance it getting rejected. Enter PenguinPickUp! They advertise themselves a pick up location for online deliveries primarily but you can also drop off packages here as well. They accept packages for FedEx, Purolator, Canpar, Canada Post, DHL, and UPS. The full spectrum! Our box was open when we got there so we asked if they had tape available for us. They did and it was free of charge to use. The gentleman actually helped us tape up the package so it was secure. They have some light packing supplies available like protected mailer envelopes. Otherwise there's not much else in the store. It was a quick and easy process to complete.
