Horribly overpriced. The same 15 papers were sent from a different UPS store for $6.00 When I used this Sugarland location I was charged $30

I have an Amazon package to return and I was suggested by Amazon to return the package at this store. The box was open and they wouldn't accept it. I asked if they can please tape it, they wanted to charge me two dollars for a strip of tape. I went to the UPS store in Missouri city down the street and they gladly assisted me with taping at no extra charge. Mr. Patel Wouldn't even allow me to tape it he insisted that he would do so himself great attitude great service. I would recommend anyone to go to the ups store down the street rather than this one. read more

I generally don't use UPS store more often but I had to use to return my item. They refused to accept my package because it was not correct envelope. I have been using same envelope in past for same service and drop off to the Dropbox. Never had any issue. I went to other store and they accepted without question so I won't go to this store for my life. Stay away from this store. read more

I called this morning about how to return to sender a package I received. A nice woman said there would be no record to just return it and they'd just put it on the truck. When I got there a young kid said I had to buy a sticker and they don't tell you that on the phone as to get you there and laughed about it. I asked if he thought that was funny because I didn't. This loud old Indian man told me to leave. He picked up the phone and threatened to call the police when I asked for his name. I wasn't threatening or doing anything illegal. I won't be back there and that's not good customer service. I just wanted to mail a couple things and return a package like I was told could be done. Good help must be hard to find. Just called the UPS in Missouri City And was told the same thing about returning it and they also said they'd send it without me having to buy a sticker. I'll be going there in the future. Teach your cocky kids the business and keep your rude hot head away from people. The cops would appreciate that too. read more

I often come to this location for my Amazon return drop off's. They're very fast and efficient. But the time I was most impressed by their customer service is when I pulled up with a large box in the back of my suv. As soon as I backed up and opened the trunk, a lady named Kayamli (I think that's her name) came out and asked if I needed a dolly. I didn't need one but had my 9 month old daughter in the car. She told me just to wait with my baby in the car and she brought the box inside, created a receipt and brought it back out to me. Thank you so much. Rude, disrespectful manager! I was hesitate to come here after so many UPS failures in this area, but I needed the service unfortunately. I am from Austin and I've used UPS services for dozens of times. Never, ever had I met rude and stingy UPS owners. Over there, they care about their customers. Here, they care about how much they can earn and lose. All about money with these people. Smh. I told the manager, UPS usually does it for us (taping). I didn't say always, because I wanted let him have a chance. Don't get me wrong, I said it in a nice way. He then said "well don't ever say that again, we are not anything worse than austin." I've used this UPS Store since I moved out to the area a few years ago. Everytime I've gone in they've been very nice and helpful. Opening the door if they see my hands are full. Helping me with shipping stuff when I don't know what I'm doing lol. And the staff has always been all smiles. read more

I tried to drop off a kind of heavy Amazon return, which is in its original package, but I forgot to tape up the top of the box, and they offered to tape the box for just $3.99!! I will not go back. So grateful there is another UPS not too far away. read more

Where is the negative stars?!?! They do not even deserve a one star!!! This place has Horrible customer service. As soon as I walked in, I was made to feel presence was a bother. Giving them the benefit of of the doubt( we all have bad days) I stopped by again only to not be acknowledge and when acknowledged it was with the same bad attitude and instead of can I help you it was a "yes." DO NOT GO HERE! I mailed a package overseas for the first time. I used DHL because that's what they recommended. I mailed some jewelry and said that it was fake b/c I didn't want to say it was real. Why tempt someone to steal it? BUT, my package was stolen anyway and I think it was stolen from this store. It never made it out of Houston. DHL looked and looked for it but it was never found. I filed a claim but DHL said that the UPS store had to file the claim. So, I left message after message for Hussaini Kayamali, the UPS store owner. He finally calls back and is so rude and abrupt. He wouldn't listen. He didn't even know that HE was supposed to file the claim through DHL. I tried to talk to him but he kept talking over me and raising his voice. So, I raised my voice and then he hangs up on me. He is rude and obviously doesn't know how to treat customers. Especially customers who have suffered a loss through his store. I am already upset about the loss of my package. And, now I am upset about how I was treated. I don't know if DHL will have any recourse for me but this UPS store is useless. I wish I had read some of these reviews before going to this store. Would have avoided it. read more

the operator of this ups store was very rude to a customer in my presence. when he was not able to get an answer on his fax machine he tells the customer its a waste of his time to keep trying. the female customer was insulted and informed him that she had a prior experience with him for not wanting to give her a receipt for proof of her transaction. she notified him she would not be returning to this ups store. neither will my business be spending any more money at this nasty attitude of a so called business owner serving the public. read more

Great service. I didn't experience a rude manager at all. He was extremely helpful and saw I had a small child with me so he let me leave my package until I could get my label stuff sorted out with Dyson. He allowed me to just email or call him with further instructions. read more

Oh my God! I could not agree any more to the last review out here. I had the similar experience this morning when I was there with my wife. UPS did not show up for a picking up 10x7 rug, so we decided to drop the rug at the nearest UPS store over this weekend. I and my wife went into this store as said we don't have a return label and asked him if he can print one for us. He, I am sure is the store manager, was not offering any options and downright rude asking us to come back with a return label. As my wife was on call with the UPS customer service to see if they can help with, this person insists me to pick up the rug and wait outside!!! I have asked him to at least wait until my wife gets off the call with UPS customer service but he continues to insist to take the rug out!! As my wife was on the call with UPS customer service, she asked him if he can print a label through an email. His response was "3.99 dollars to print a label". He could have said yes I can but it will cost you $3.99.... The UPS customer service has sent a bar-code in an email he could scan and we were finally out of the store. The thing that surprised me first he could not think of any options which would help us in finishing the transaction. But that was not it. He was insisting me to wait outside and was not patient enough to at least wait until my wife gets off the phone call with UPS customer service. I was the only customer in the store and it was not like he had to attend to any customer. He was rude the entire time we were there in the store. I shipped a couple pack of masks i purchased for a doctor friend who is in dire need, shipped them theough this store to MD yesterday for $11 for ground shipping. They needed more, so when I went back to ship another package for the same size, same weight to the same address. The owner was there and he wanted 20 bucks for the shipping, when i questioned his price and showed him the receipt from his store from yesterday, he told me not to raise my voice because this is not China. What a racist and price gouging in this climate. Shameful!!! They will never get my business again. read more

Both employees at this store addressed me by name after just two visits, and they are always helpful.

They are as good as it can get! The manager and associate helped me ship 24 boxes! They are both friendly and went ABOVE AND BEYOND HELPING ME! The 10 boxes I had left to ship were so heavy, that they offered to pick me and the boxes up FOR FREE! They were so professional and helpful! I had packing tape, but they packed it up to close it for me. Now, it's not typical for me to mail 24 boxes, but they made the process so easy and helpful. I labeled each box "box 1, box 2, box 3...etc." and for each shipment, the tracking slips were highlighted and stapled together. They also happened to have a few free boxes that were better than the ones I brought in, and they did not charge me. As a discerning reviewer, I do not give 5-stars often, yet they really deserve it! If I lived locally, I would use them all the time! read more

I went to go drop-off a prepaid package and the associate (man) was so RUDE!! I had wanted to purchase of tape to reinforce the box and he said he would do it for me. However, when I asked him to tape it in front of me, he said No! that we would do it in the back room later. I told him that the package was important to me and if he could tape it while I was there. He began lecturing me and told me next time I should be prepared. I reminded him that I originally wanted to purchase tape and he refused. I had a terrible feeling and DID NOT TRUST THAT MY PACKAGE WOULD BE SENT! I ended up leaving with my package. When I got to another UPS location, I told them what had happen and they were appalled! They said they always secure the packages in front of the customer, it was custom. Do not go to this location, something shady is definitely going on. read more

Terrible experience. I can't say who stole it but I lost $1000+ tablets at this UPS store. We dropped a box of tablets for UPS 2nd Day at this location. Two weeks later my customer still hadn't received it. Tracking info said the box was torn open and it was empty. And the box was thrown away! And of course, UPS won't pay me back because the box didn't meet their shipping standard since it was torn open! And I couldn't argue because the box was disposed of by the store which was the most important evidence. I will never use this store. I'm sure the owner would respond to this review with excuses as he has done for all other negative reviews. But no thanks! I don't accept it. read more

I will not be using this store any longer. I wish I had read the reviews before I did use them. I have used them in the past and they are great if you have ONLY one package and require NO EXTRA from them and just drop a package. HOWEVER, if you drop off more than one package, make sure that you receive a DIFFERENT tracking number for each package. I had two separate packages with pre-paid labels going back to Amazon and they used the SAME tracking for both packages. When I called to try to explain this to them and to see how I would get the refund from Amazon for the second package since they refund you when they see the package has been sent; the owner/manager of the store was very rude (would NOT LISTEN and threatens to hang up if you are trying to explain the problem) and basically said that the problem was mine and that I needed to call Amazon and tell them of MY mistake. To quote him: "this is your mistake" even though I explained I do not ship pacakges every day as they do. So much for the customer always being right!?!?!?So, I am telling you, as I told him, I will no longer use this facility for any of my shipping needs. Be warned! read more

It took this place THREE entire days to give my package to the person who comes and picks up the packages. HOW?! Now I understand why this location has such horrible reviews. I came in and dropped off a package that was already ready to be shipped, label included, and I'm so glad I asked for a receipt with the tracking info because now I see that they just handed it out 3 days later! I signed up on Yelp just to leave this review but I am looking forward to leaving future yelp reviews since I reference it so often. I am new to Sugar Land and have used this UPS store location several times for shipments and printing (200+ pages!). Today I signed up for a UPS mailbox since it seems impossible to receive any of my Amazon packages at my new First Colony address by all major delivery handlers including USPS. I have always found the manager and the employees to be friendly and extremely helpful. I am going to recommend this store to my new neighbors. read more
