For shipping drop offs, the staff are friendly and helpful. I appreciate their speedy service. I had the need to send a fax recently, and I should have asked the price before sending, so my bad. It turned out they charge $35 to send a fax. Seems excessive, but it absolutely had to go out, so I asked the UPS store to send for me. When the lady said the price, I was a little shocked, and I think they could be more up-front with pricing, perhaps displaying the fax pricing for customers to see. I did get a confirmation page showing it was successfully sent. read more

These people lie to you, telling you you must return Amazon items in a shipping box. I returned a vacuum cleaner for repair in its original box. They would not accept it and made me purchase a box/envelope. UPS delivered it back to me in the original box I tried to ship it in. These people are LIARS! Please avoid this UPS location if possible. The former managers were nice and accommodating. Sadly this new group does damage to the UPS name/brand. read more

Do not go to the store to get copies. Very condescending, unprofessional and a poor job. I brought the package in and I wanted 10 copies of the package. I left it and was going to come back and pick it up. They called and said I had to be standing there while they did the copies so I turned around and went back in and they made copies but they didn't collate so now I have to go back and collate everything into a package when I asked about it, I was told there were too many people in line. Quality of the paper was very poor. And it cost a lot of money. I'll never go back. read more

This UPS store is the worst I have ever experienced. You can not get ahold of anyone to help you and the Indian manager is the worst. She is rude and does not follow through on her tasks. I have been to quite a few UPS Stores over the years, and this location is by far the best run UPS Store I have frequented. There are often three or four people working, so lines are seldom experienced. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and polite. I believe older reviews are from experiences under previous ownership, and I remember those days. However, since it has changed hands--I can't recall exactly when that was--I can only sing this store's praises. Was not happy with the service. The lady at the counter basically got mad because she had to Tape up my box. said she'll do it this time for me when there was a tape gun on the counter right behind her, and I even asked her if she wanted me to do it for her. And I offered to pay for the one piece of tape.. I would've never came to UPS. I usually use FedEx because they don't care if you need to use tape. The UPS Store on Randall Rd in St Charles is the absolute WORST! I have been there twice now and both times they were unhelpful, rude and incompetent! I left yesterday and will never set foot in there again. I'd think twice before giving them any of your business! FedEx Office is one strip mall over and is lovely, as is the UPS Store in N Aurora! I am just so tired of the pervasive problem of being told, as a customer, all the things a business can't or won't do for me and acting like I am inconveniencing them! All I wanted to do was drop off an Amazon return. Easy, right? Nope! The guy "Helping" me walked away to help someone else because it took me 5 seconds to open my phone to get the QR code. When I said "Uh, excuse me..." he just gave me a dirty look! Some one else came over a minute later. I hold up the QR code and she says "That's just a customer pass". HUH? I ask her to please explain what a "Customer pass" is. She cannot. SO I explain that she just needs to scan it and the return information will come up. She does not. BUT she DOES immediately tell me they can't ship it because it is a damaged box (One of the flaps is slightly torn). When she sees the look on my face she then tells me they can't ship it because it's not sealed. I've never had to seal an Amazon box before, anywhere. She points to the wall behind me where they sell shipping supplies. Welcome to my last straw. I say, "So you want me to buy an EIGHT dollar roll of tape and then you'll ship it??!!" No ma'am. No, no! I look around at 4 other employees. "Can anyone else help me?" They all just stare at me! So I say I will leave, go to another place and never, ever set foot in there again! I can even take it to Kohl's and get a 20% off coupon for the store! Now that's smart! The first time we went to that UPS store we needed something notarized and you would think we'd asked her to kill a puppy! Very put out and rude! I just don't get it! read more

Very slow and horrible customer service! The elderly guy (manager) is the worst! His demeanor is absolutely unacceptable! They never greet anyone, the lines are always extremely long! You're much better off going to an unmanned drop box. I came in with a pre-printed label and asked if they had a shipping envelope. They wanted $3.00 for something I got out of the drop box for free! Seriously? I even checked the UPS website to see if I missed something. Nope. There was a check box on the site for them to deliver me a 25-pack of envelopes for free. I'm curious as to how much they would have charged me to print the label! Needless to say, FedEx across the street got the business for that shipment. read more

Last Saturday I went to this UPS store is close to home so I stopped in there. I was really struggling with the document so a young man,Kyle, working there offered to help. I went to multiple places including the libraries, which are all shut down, and fed ex which was unhelpful. I had a time limit to be able to send improtant information to my company. I finally called this location and had a warm welcome and that they were open. I needed to email and print all in the same transaction. They helped me personally and even helped me with advice on my paperwork, which is not in their job description. That was above and beyond service. Tracey had a warming welcome and encouraging words and Kyle helped me look over my paperwork and figure out how to do everything. Meanwhile, 3 customers have already stopped by and couldn't be helped.
