Wow.. major discrimination. I walked in the young man said hello. As I was walking toward him another man just walked in the side door after I was already in the store. The man looked away from me and said to the that man, put your box here, totally ignoring me now. Thankfully a young lady came out from the back and offered to help me. Many other stores. This store typically provides good service, but their attitude and customer service skills need a tune-up. How about a smile or relying less on snotty responses when a customer asks a question or makes a simple request. You know, we're not in the shipping business; you are. We pay you to know more about it than we do. That's absolutely your business model. I highly recommend this UPS store because of their employee, Alfredo. I needed to ship 3 different boxes on three different days in one week. Alfredo greeted me each time I visited the store with a "hello, how can I help you?" and a smile. (The girl working there also greeted customers the same way). On my third day to the store, Alfredo recognized me when I entered the store and even remembered my name. He ensured I had the correct sized box as well as the best cost for the actual box each visit. He was efficient, polite, courteous and his customer service skills were top notch. I have used other UPS stores in the area in the past and feel the Geneva store exemplifies a high level of customer service more so than the other area UPS stores. I have been trying to contact them for the last 2 hours at (63) 262-7447 the number is busy. I returned a phone to verizon through UPS on August 20th. Verizon stated they still have not received the phone I tracked it stated the shipping label was created, UPS never sent in the phone I am getting charged 700 on my bill because of this. I CAN NOT GET A HOLD OF THE STORE SO NOW I HAVE TO GO INTO THE STORE WHICH I DID NOT WANT TO DO. read more

I went in today 6/16/21 to ship a package to Florida. I asked for a Saturday delivery option and was told it would be $68.00 for an 8lb package, and there was no option for a Saturday delivery in that area! ONLY Friday. I said no. I also brought another box in to ship and shipped it but was told I couldn't use the box it was in and I needed to pay another $1.50 to put it in another box. I did ship this box, but took the Florida bound shipment with me. I went elsewhere and I had it shipped UPS for $21.00 with a Saturday delivery! Really? I realize they have to make money, but $47.00 on one package, and lied to me that it couldn't be delivered Saturday. And when I called the store to tell them this, they didn't care. Horrible attitude! I'm so disappointed in this store and am very angry about my experience today. read more

Usually I don't mind shipping UPS, even though they're considerably more expensive than USPS. But being talked to in a condescending manner (that my package wasn't measured properly, that I must not have weighed it at all) doesn't make the extra money spent worthwhile. I'll skip this store in the future, and stick with shipping from either a drop-off point, or the Dekalb store. read more

This store has about the rudest staff I've ever seen. Just because there's a pandemic does not mean people have to be so rude! All customers were practicing social distancing, wearing masks and staying six feet a part. One particularly rude employee was not wearing a mask but yelled at customers to leave the store because he said there were to many people in the store!
