Plus in the Amazon directions it says that the store will provide the return materials. She tried to charge me for a return box or envelope. I rent a UPS Mailbox and was told don't worry about paying for returns in the package - I received it in a package and tried to send it back in the plastic wrap THAT MANY WERE USING INSTEAD but I was not allowed to do that. I had to take a minute to give a shout out to Miah =0) She's a new addition at the store. I came in with what probably seemed like a never ending amount of amazon returns to process. She was so positive and helpful, and never missed a beat. I know doing those returns has to be one of the most tedious and boring parts of her job, but she did it with a smile. I came in with a computer that I need to return completely wrapped secure. All I needed from this door it was for them to just tape the 2 corners because I didn't have any tape at home. Absolutely terrible in their service. A package of mine was sent there and every time I went there stating I need the package they said it was not there over the span of 2 months. The same man kept telling me it's not there without even once going back to check and see. He then sent me somewhere else across town to locate it, which was also not there. On my 3rd visit to this store to demand him physically look back there, he still continued to deny my package was there and that I would have to wait for his manager and only then would he physically look. Thankfully another worker agreed to just take a look, and low and behold it was back there the whole time. Went to get a document notarized at this location found it online and made no mention of needing an appointment. I get there and was the only one in the store and was told they couldn't do it now since I have no appointment so they wanted me to come back in 50 minutes. I asked why I couldn't get it done now since I do not live close to the store. I started to just walk out but circled back to ask for the manager but the employees just kept pointing to the door. Told me that the sign on the door says by appointment only but I told them it's not online and not fair for people to drive this distance to get denied service. They LOST my package worth over 1000 dollars and can't tell me where it went. I have a tracking number that tells me the item is still at the store. An employee played hot potato and passed me off to what I thought was the manager. They didn't have any answers and then they told me that the manager would be in on Monday and then to call back then. Ridiculous. read more

On October 4th, I went to the UPS Store in Sherman just to drop off a shipment. It was packed and labeled correctly, with an account number included. There was a line. OK, I get that. So rather than just being able to ask a quick question for instruction, I waited. When I got to the front, the woman, incredibly rudely, asked if I had weighed the package. I said yes, but she insisted that I bring it up to be weighed. It was not a light shipment, so I asked for a dolly. You would have thought I asked for her first born. With large, audible sighs, first she said, "Most people bring their own." OK, well I didn't. After some eye rolling and more sighing, she produced a cart and shoved it at me. I got the package on the dolly and went back in. Instead of being able to just finish the transaction-that is, just drop the damn thing off, she told me to get back in line. So I did. Got back to the front and she took the package over to the scale. Didn't weigh it, but went back to the counter. Told me some other customers were in line before me, (they were not), and to get back in line. THREE TIMES...she told me that these people or those people were ahead of me. After all of that, she never weighed the package, gave me a receipt with no comment--not thank you, not sorry for the ridiculous wait, no kiss my ass. I stopped in on a Friday to have a package delivered and they replied that it would be there on Tuesday. I called on Monday because there still was no tracking number and they told me because I dropped it off on Friday that there wouldn't be a tracking number until late Monday night and that the package would be delivered by Tuesday. Now I finally have a tracking number and it won't be there until Friday. The attitude of ALL the staff that work there are in desperate need of training. The all act like they hate there job. And, the fax machine has not worked for at least 6 months and yet the staff continue to let people stand there, waiting for a fax to go through. Edit: I decided to try working with someone else rather than just eating my lost money. I called the store and spoke with Veronica and later returned to the store so that she could assist. The issue was resolved in a very friendly and professional manner. If I could give this location zero stars, I would. The employees here are literally the least friendly I think I have ever encountered in customer service. I had multiple returns to make one day because I am pregnant and have to order multiple styles and sizes in maternity clothes since nobody sells maternity in store anymore. I had one item that didn't have the amazon plastic packaging and was told it was fine. Over two weeks later and every item but one I have received the Amazon refund for. So I checked the receipt and recognized one item was not scanned of the eight I brought to the UPS store. I returned to the store to see if maybe the item was in holding because they couldn't identify where it should go. I could understand that. The employee asked me how could they not have scanned the item and I said I wasn't sure but I brought multiple items to the store so it was possible it was missed. The item was an Amazon return and they indicated they have no way of know what was scanned or wasn't and I have to refer to the Amazon tracking number. I can find nowhere on Amazon to dispute the issue either because it just says my return is still pending and will be refunded once the item is received. They didn't even check to see if it was sitting somewhere without a return ticket. This is not the first time I have been to the store and disappointed in the service. Each time I have gone to make a return the staff acts like they are absolutely miserable and makes zero effort to be friendly. I guess I'm stuck just waiting until Amazon cancels my return because the item isn't received and I will be SOL on getting my money back because the item was lost. I go to this location on a regular basis, because Amazon and I have a love hate relationship. At first I was a little nervous returning a package, because I wasn't sure how to do it. I was very happy to know that the transaction would be a breeze, dealing with Frenacee! She is amazing and provides the absolute best customer service! She is always so helpful. I usually just hand her my cell phone and she takes care of everything! Customer service is very important to me. After patiently waiting my turn in line and stepping up to the counter the associate disappeared into the back. The next associate immediately went to the person in line behind me. After a loud sigh and looking upset the associate that passed over me came to help. All I needed was a label printed and sent stuck on the box to ship. It is prepaid UPS shipping label. I offered to email it and was told it would cost me $2.30 to print a label. Are you kidding???? Pay to print the UPS shipping label at the "UPS" store... I think not! Dang sure not $2.30! That is completely ridiculous! I do this with FedEx all the time and guess what, NO FEE. That is the reason I will only deal with UPS on a required basis. Trying to drop off a prepaid ups legal doc package. Associate tried to insist he wanted my name, address, and contact. It's a prepaid label. I drop off prepaid packages every day to numerous stores around the area. Never have I been told they wouldn't take my package without my contact info. My assumption is they want it for marketing purposes. This is a letter envelope, no potential for dangerous materials if that's what your thinking. I won't be returning to this location again. Went in yesterday to get a document notarized about 4 in the afternoon. Was told the notary was gone and would be in the next day, Wednesday from 9 am - 3:00 pm. Went by at 10 am and was told the notary, Christina Rosas, was busy on a conference call. She would be available at in 2 hours. I confirmed that she would be there and I would be back in 2 hours. Called at 12 noon and was told she had left for the day. My experience with this store in the 3 years I have tried to use their services is that they place a very low priority on customer service. I mail a large amount of prepaid boxes and envelopes. Having had a problem where I had missing merchandise I always ask for a receipt. This is the only location I have visited among three or four others I visit that will NOT give me a separate receipt for 2 items going to 2 different addresses. Girl today NASTY! I use this store on a normal basis and have never had a problem. All the staff have been super nice, are quick and helpful. Had to have some documents notorized and faxed so went there. The company I was faxing them to was having a problem with their machine. The lady that helped me was really patient and continued to try until my fax went through. If I could give 0 stars I would. I'm 70, handicapped and saw an undesignated truck in one of the 2 handicapped spots at this store today. The other spot was taken. I took a picture of the license plate of the truck and an employee of the UPS Store came out yelling at me, asking why I was taking a picture of her truck. I asked if she was handicapped and she just kept yelling: that's my spot! that's my spot! as she walked into the store. I sent my packages and went to my car, got in, proceeded to call the Sherman PD, and another employee came out, pounded very HARD on my window with her fist!
