This is a Historic home built in 1909 with ties to Thomas A Edison and Mark Twain. This is our family's home since 1975 and just went under a complete top to bottom restoration at a cost of over 1/4 of a million dollars. When they came to pick it up two young men moving a part of a sectional damaged everything starting at the doorway all the way to the floor in the hall. They damaged nearly every step knocking chips of wood off the at least 300-400 year old wood. Damaged ornate corner trim. Knocked the drywall off down to the L bead (metal) on the corner at the top of the stairs. Gouged both original handrails that I restored recently restored. As shown in my post. The landing on the stairs has very deep gouges from wall to wall. And then long deep scratches at the bottom of the stairs. The women from their claims department sent me an email saying they were willing to pay only $150.00 to repaint the door and trim. They did $2,800 worth of damage here. Because the movers would only admit to hitting the door and trim. And that I helped them move. The only help I gave these guys was giving them my own tools and making sure they didn't hit our Buffett from London and hitting the newel post light by putting my body in between them. The claims agent said in her email that from my photos there was obvious prior damage. I think I can safely say I have chronicled the restoration of the Hall Home extensively by photos & videos. This house was without damage when we moved back in. So please stay away from this company at all cost. I am not gonna let this stand after everything Dawn Geiger did and the money and work Kim Walker Ontiveros and I did to get where we are. We need to be made whole again. Thanks PPOIII.

So the next day I get an E-Mail from Sears that my mower is ready to pick up. I get off work, borrow a trailer from my brother, air up the tire that leaks, head to Sears and lo and behold, no mower, well they do have one, but it has a dent in the fender and messed up plastic molding. So the warehouse sends me to talk with a manager at the main store. After much typing and complaining about how much she hates online orders, she issues me a refund, asks if I would like to reorder and she can have one here in four more days. I think no, not going thru this again, and pass. Maybe this time I will learn to pass on Sears before I even try to shop there.
