I had a very frustrating experience with customer service. When I initially approached the front desk, I asked the representative whether I needed to purchase tape for my return. My question was not answered, and I was left without clear guidance. After completing my first return, I had tape ready to purchase for the next item. At that point, the representative informed me that I would be charged for tape. I explained that I had already asked about this earlier and had not received a response, but my concern was dismissed, and he continued with the charge without acknowledgment. The lack of communication and disregard for my initial question made the interaction feel dismissive and unprofessional. I've had my box here for several years and the staff are always great, friendly and fast.

I dropped off two (2) returns - packages - on the evening of Monday, November 11th. One made it to its destination and I received a full refund and exchange by 11/19, and the other is showing as never tendered. I called the store and spoke to Bryn, who stated she was the manager on duty and that they: 1) will not check the store as they "have no packages lying around," and 2) have no video surveillance inside or outside the store. I was in the store earlier in the day about this issue and they had several packages behind the counter on the floor, so they 100% have packages lying around. I am now stuck in a nightmare right before Thanksgiving of endless calls and emails trying to recover this package, because of either the carelessness (did not scan package) of this store, or the outright fraud (did not tender package) of its employees. Of course this is a high value package. Unless you can afford to lose packages in transit, skip this store. There are other area stores that are helpful, kind, and honest. read more

Run away from UPS and in particular this store. Nothing but problems with no answers. Tried using their website. Just wanted to pick up at the store vice delivery(Additional $7.99 charge to pick it up???). Brain surgery would be easier. Tried online for 25 mins--it rejected everything. Called asked for a callback (the only thing that worked). Cust sv rep lied to me about the delivery time. In the store, the female I talked to (can't fix stupid) told me I'd be notified when this item arrived at this store. I asked, text? Email? She said tracking #??? You mean I have to go online and look? She said,"yes." I said that's notification to me. She gave me a look...so I left. I then got home and called the 1-800 number to talk to a supervisor. I shipped a hydroflask via ground residential my family left behind while visiting, and after taking a look at the receipt, I found that I was charged for a box big enough to fit about 6 bottles. Do the owners tell their employees to up charge on boxes? This store in general is expensive even just for packing. $10 for packing! Will not be visiting again. At another store, this would have cost about $30-$40. Total came out to just over $50 pre-tax. There is not a chance these people will earn my business again. read more

I have several UPS stores near me but this is my go to. I use this store a lot and the staff are always so nice and friendly and no matter how busy they are, they make a point to acknowledge every customer and let you know they will be with you as fast as they can. The staff at the 1604 Costco and Bulverde toad locations are always rude but these folks are so nice and so helpful. They take my USPS and UPS packages and everything arrives where it need to be on time. Great UPS store ! read more

I use this UPS store several times a month all year round. Even when there's a long line, the employees work quickly and are accurate. When there's a long line, they recognize that you are waiting and say something nice. I've had to use the copy machine several times and each time one of the staff have personally helped me get started to make sure I was on the right track. They always explain charges first, whether I'm shipping or using the copy machine. There was a situation where an item I had sent to College Station was seemingly not delivered to the correct apartment, the UPS store manager reached out me so I could file a claim, end of story was that it was delivered to the front desk of the apartment building where someone had signed for it and the next day gave it to the person I had sent it to. It took a couple of days to sort out but in the end all was well. During those couple of days, I was really disappointed and even angry but the store manager was kind and understanding and, as I said, in the end all was well. I've never had a rude or unprofessional experience with this UPS store, can't think of one negative thing to say. read more

I've gone to this store many times to return Amazon packages. I usually purchase supplies or greeting cards, too. I have always received prompt service with a smile from everyone. Usually they are very happy when I go there. I cannot speak to the busy times since just like at a post office, i don't like lines & I purposefully go when they are less busy. read more

Went to store to return package young man said the box would need sealed cost 2$. For perhaps 6-8 inches of tape so bought packing tape for 4$. Stupid and greedy they have a space with pens and such felt like should have left the tape there too. read more

I I've been to this place ever since I moved here 8 years ago. They are extremely expensive and no one is friendly. No one is ever friendly. So I do not write this post after one bad experience. It is after many instances like this that finally made me write a review. I walk into mail a package in a small cardboard box I brought in. I asked the associate for a marker he says no a pen will be fine I say I need a marker please he says no a pen will be fine. Oooooook so I'm not allowed to use their marker. Next the lady manager comes over and says I cannot ship in the box I have because of writing on it. I said put a sticker or mark it out with a black marker. I visit UPS store frequently for my business. On a continual basis, this location is significantly less friendly, efficient, and competent than the location at Stone Oak and Hardy Oak. Save yourself some time and drive a few extra miles to the Stone Oak store. read more

The owner of this location does not believe in wearing a mask, although his employees were masked. When confronted with the fact that he was not keeping others safe, he did not seem to comprehend the fact that NOT wearing a mask endangers other people. He thought that 1) since it was 95 degrees outside, that he didn't need to wear a mask inside and 2) if he were 6 ft away from me ( again inside, with me wearing a mask and him mask less) that this was safe. He was cheerful, but clueless. Will not be back Dear sir, Instead of apologizing, please apprise yourself of OSHA and CDC guidelines. You have a responsibility to keep your employees safe. In an indoor work environment (and a small one at that) the distancing only works if EVERYONE wears a mask. You put your employees and to some degree the public at risk by refusing to wear a mask. If one of your employees gets sick they could sue you for failing to provide a safe work environment. I know you are a franchise owner...does UPS know how you are running their franchise? Educate yourself and protect others by wearing a mask at work. Do whatever you like on your own time. read more

I had an issue with UPS delivering my package. I called all morning to get in touch with someone to get me in touch with the driver. Hours later UPS finally called me back and told me I can pick up my package at this location. I arrived, the guy that "assisted" me quickly said my package was not there. I proceeded to tell him UPS said the driver was leaving the package at this location. He replied "only 5 were delivered, not hard to go through them and see that your name is not on them". The driver was still on site so someone else asked him to look for the package and there came out the driver with my package. This guy was not friendly nor helpful. Extremely worst service I have ever experienced, I'm not referring to rude customer service I'm referring to literally hostile service. I arrived Saturday at 9:29 and the doors were still locked because it opens at 9:30am. I take that opportunity to drop off dry cleaning next door and when I head in I'm (1) not greeted but simply approached by this gorilla of a Caucasian man who immediately starts commenting on the condition of my shipping box. First let me give you an example of why I'm about to clarify that he is racist. The box clearly reads zappos.com which if you don't live under a rock know that this is a popular fashionable online store, but when he says your "zapatos" shoe box isn't going to hold. That was a clear jab that I'm Hispanic. I tell him the website instructions to return the shoes specifically state to ship back in same box. He pulls the box to the back counter and essentially says in a threatening and condescending tone "well I can't guarantee it's going to make it" (with a smirk) so I ask to please see the box to take photos as I begin taking photos and ask to tape it closed (because I know I'm shopping a $1,000 pair of shoes) he literally yanks it from my hands he's over 6' and 300 lbs I'm 5'1' at 125 and says it's his now it's been processed. When I comment that I had read the reviews on the store prior to coming he rebuttals that it's people "like you" (points at me) that cause problems! When I inform him that I'm going to file a formal complaint he says he doesn't care he's the owner. Clearly he's disgruntled because it's Saturday and he has to double as a clerk. Been a multi year customer with box here. Everyone is beyond nice and goes out of their way to help everyone.

I have worked for years to find the most efficient way to have mail and packages available to send and receive securely for new small businesses that don't have a storefront. No service is perfect but this is definitely the way to go. Half the cost, they can handle printing materials and sending lots of packets. Standing in line at USPS takes twice as long and costs are also twice as much. I'm glad there are much better choices. read more

We came in to drop off our Equipment from a recent move and my daughter wanted to buy one of the metal paper pads with her 20$. Evidently they frown *literally* at well behaved children in the store. She didn't get one smile or thank your for your purchase. I will not come back to this store. I am really disappointed in the behavior of the staff at this location. I should have taken it as a sign, when we entered and the worker behind the counter said hello from behind a computer screen and did not stand up to let us know where the hello was coming from. I've come here three times in the last 30 days and every time I've experienced fast and friendly customer service. I've dropped off pre-paid/labeled boxes, shipped a box, and shipped a padded mailer, and each time there was no line!!!! Now that I write that, the next time there will probably be a line. If you're considering going to the Encino Park Post Office or going to the UPS store by the Home Depot, choose UPS. Their shipping prices are competitive. This review is for the UPS Store Encino Park Suite 108 Hwy 281. We needed shipping cartons for a group of ladies traveling with golf clubs to Europe. I purchased a carton to test it for size and it was a perfect fit. I did not recommend this store for the group purchase because the price for the box was $5 more than other UPS competitors. It pays to shop around when buying a cardboard box. We went elsewhere to avoid the excessive 30% markup. read more

RUDE!!!!! I had the occasion to return some equipment to AT&T, which utilizes UPS for their shipping returns. In the letter from AT&T, they state that the customer can take a box and the equipment to a UPS shipping facility which will pack, box, label, ship etc etc etc for the customer. When I engaged Sean behind the counter, I jokingly stated that since AT&T gave us the option, we would let the UPS store "pack, box label, ship, etc etc etc" per the instructions. He rudely interrupted me mid-sentence and curtly stated "you can stop reading, I already know what to do". I was absolutely taken aback by his out and out rude attitude. As a family that has much holiday shipping to do, I can assure you I will find another location that doesn't have an attitude problem. read more

WORST LOCATION EVER!! If I could give the store zero stars I would. They are rude, unknowledgeable and absolutely offer no help. I went in to return an Amazon package, which is supposed to be something prepaid/negotiated with UPS, when I went into ship the package back they wanted to charge me for the tape to tape up the box. I thought that was ridiculous so went to another UPS store and they took the return back no questions asked & didn't charge me a thing. This location is cheap and useless. I gave it one more try and went back to send a birthday gift. I started boxing up the gift when the sales associate told me I wasn't using the right packaging and they need to send a certain way. I went along with what he said and he ended up charging me for the package I started using in the first place in addition to the stuff he used to send my package... He also charge me for his time to box up my package. All while I was trying to take care of my infant that was fussy in the store. Awful, just awful. read more
