I have been coming to this UPS location for years and years to drop off packages for UPS for the post office for Amazon and all of a sudden today they told me they were going to charge me a dollar to drop off a USPS package when all they have to do is take it from me put it in a bin and then let the post office come pick it up but they want to charge a dollar, no thank you. This is my go to ups store! I absolutely hate the one off the 281. This location has way better customer service and definitely way faster than any other location I've been to. My only complaint is there's hardly parking it's always so packed in this shopping center but still even that is not a big issue. read more

I came to the UPS Store to ship a suit for a friend. This was my first time bringing an item that I didn't already have packaged. Overall I would say it was a great experience. Although the woman working the counter didn't seem extremely enthusiastic, she got the job done quickly and efficiently. Given that we were shipping the item all the way to the Northeast, the price of $35 shipping to arrive in just 5 days seemed very reasonable. The price of packing the item was $10 on top of that. We did seem to arrive at the perfect time as we had no wait. However, when we were leaving there was a rather long line forming. So, I'd say make sure to plan accordingly for the random bursts of people that arrive. read more

This store opens at 9am on Saturdays- manned by one lone young girl. She was trying her hardest to help with the job I came in for but the line was to the door and she was frazzled. She said the other employee was late -when she called the late employee- the employee was "stopping for a drink"- busy employee asked for a Red Bull. Several customers walked out in frustration. This place has always been a "go to"- however they need to find employees with a good work ethic or have the owner open the shop. Paid $95 to have medication shipped overnight to Calgary. Not a difficult task, for anyone remotely competent. Unfortunately the regular person didn't help my wife, and required paperwork was not completed and the shipment was held in customs. Sadly this is par for the course in San Antonio. If someone is handing international shipments he/she needs to understand the requirements. read more
