Very excellent, friendly and informative customer service. This was the busiest UPS store I've ever…read morebeen in and the two gentlemen who were servicing it were amazing. I had just finished processing my return when a senior citizen customer behind me had asked for assistance in carrying in her packages, if she pulled her car up front. The customer was pleasant and had already processed her returns at the self-checkout kiosk, and just asked for a little assistance. Instead of offering to help the senior citizen carry in her packages, the cashier told her that "they had a dolly" and told her to "use that." I was honestly taken aback. The customer was very clearly a senior citizen, and though she was walking unassisted, it was very clear that she lacked the physical ability. I was in a rush to get to my next appointment, but ended up helping the customer carry in her return packages. While we were walking to her car, she informed me that she had never had this issue before at any other UPS locations (so it clearly wasn't a "company policy" issue.") If the able bodied/young cashier would've taken 2 seconds out of her time (it wasn't even busy,) she would've seen that the packages weren't unusually large nor heavy, but just an issue of mobility for the customer. I understand that we are all busy and stressed and customer facing jobs can be really stressful, but the complete lack of awareness for this senior citizen asking for assistance was really disappointing.

I chose this printer based on a referral from someone who has been in the paper industry for over…read moretwo decades, so I came in with a level of trust and confidence in the recommendation. Unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing. I initially visited the shop in person to look at paper samples. It took a little while before anyone acknowledged that I was there and came over to assist me, although the gentleman who eventually helped me was very nice. The issues began with the estimate and subsequent invoice. The original estimate listed two different paper types without clearly indicating the final total. When I received the new invoice, I noticed that I appeared to be charged for two types of paper rather than just the one I had selected. I reached out for clarification because the pricing also differed from what I had been told in person. During my visit, I had understood that choosing the thinner paper would make the order less expensive. I was subsequently told that the paper I selected was actually more expensive. My concern was never about the small dollar amount difference. I was simply trying to understand the discrepancy between the information I received in person and what was reflected in the estimate and invoice. I also had to follow up to obtain the payment link after being told I would receive an invoice and payment instructions. What disappointed me most was the response I received: "We actually gave you a good price." Rather than acknowledging the conflicting information or apologizing, the comment came across as defensive and dismissive. Even if the business believed I was complaining about the price, that would not justify responding to a customer that way. Asking for clarification about an unclear invoice and inconsistent pricing information is a reasonable thing for a customer to do. After I explained my concerns, the business acknowledged that I was correct, apologized for the confusion, and offered to honor the original price on the paper I had selected. I appreciate that they ultimately made that offer, but it does not erase the experience that led to it. Ultimately, this was not about the cost of printing. It was about clear communication, accountability, and how a business treats its customers when a reasonable question is raised. Given the referral through which I found this business, I expected a more professional and customer-focused experience.
