They are sort of my local back office here in Rehoboth. Of course there is shipping but also printing, copying, notary, even passport photos. Great hours and usually not busy but of course there are those times that will be. Glad to have them around. Update, no passport photos even though their specific location says they do. read more

Twice outbound packages have been lost from this location. The last time it was finger pointing back and forth between UPS and USPS. Store would not own their mistake and would not provide a refund. Use ANY location than this one. The front desk did offer for me to dig through a mountain of packages and boxes to find mine that was dropped off a week prior. Stay away from this mess! read more

This UPS store has ridiculously inconvenient hours. They close at 2PM on the Saturday before Christmas and they are closed altogether on Sundays. I guess if you're not retired and have to work a normal 9 to 5 job Monday through Friday, then this UPS store simply doesn't want your business. Fortunately we have other shipping companies available that actually appreciate their customers. You'd be wise to use one of those instead. read more

UPS is the worst home Depot scheduled to pick up with UPS they showed up this morning refused to take it we spent an hour on the phone with home Depot he transferred me back to UPS and they said they would either I had to pay for a pickup or take this hundred pound recliner to a drop off spot I'm 70 years old that ain't happening so I had to call home Depot back again they set me up with another carrier instead of UPS thank God so that's where we're at UPS is ridiculous read more

This is the WORSE UPS store on earth. Be prepared for HORRIBLE customer-no service, especially from Jeff, one of the managers. The only reason he gets away with his lack of customer service and his doing you a favor attitude, is because, as he stated today, he's in real good with the family that owns the place. The store is always messy, they misplace mail and act like it's OK for them to do so...Jeff had the nerve to tell me today, if something is in for you and I don't see it, you'll have to come back tomorrow because I don't have time to look for it, I'm the only one here. Dude, that sounds like a staffing issue...you customer shouldn't be inconvenienced for that. Be prepared for a loooonng wait and crappy service when you come here. Period. read more

Absolutely terrible business. Paid for insurance, damaged in delivery, store wouldn't honor insurance we paid for. Employees were dishonest and avoided communication. Only after filing a corporate complaint did they blame UPS corporate. This place is a scam. read more

The USPS has been a total disaster for several months now. Jay has helped me on three different occasions and saved my life !! Recently Jan 4th I mailed a CLAIM form to the USPS that was supposed to go to St. Louis. So almost a month later it has gone from Rehoboth, De., to Miami, to Taipei , Taiwan to Jakarta, Indonesia , and finally incredibly to St. Louis. So during this time I decided to mail this same form (a copy) again this time UPS . Jay helped me immeasurably , finding a physical address and would you believe it only took TWO days to get there. He is very knowledgeable on things and will go out of his way if he is not sure to find out. Also they don't come any nicer !!! Thank you Jay!!! read more

I needed to come to DE to set up a business address. I made an appointment for 11am on Saturday. I arrived about an hour early and Jay was nothing but helpful to get me set up. I've worked in many places and this guy Jay is a pro!! Upon arrival, albeit an hour early, he knew about the appointment and was able to swiftly get me the paperwork I needed. Upon my arrival and knowing that my transaction takes a little more effort than a typical UPS store transaction, Jay was still able to assist not one, not two, but THREE guests at the same time. All of which looked to be satisfied given the situation. Jay was super helpful, very knowledgeable and patient and cool headed. I'm so happy I drove 3.5 hours from Richmond, VA to THIS SPECIFIC UPS store to get my business mailing address set up. Glorious work team! read more

I suppose the UPS stores offer some sense of convenience for printing, packaging etc. However I went in there to mail a package about 14 pounds to Oregon. After weighing it I stated ups ground would be fine. So the lady stated it would be 93.00 dollars!!!!?? I said that seemed a bit high, so I said let me think about that and left. Well I decided to take it to UPS depot in Harrington as I was heading back that way anyway. Same package this time was only 53.00!! Now I understand that the UPS store is a Franchise and they have to make money, but that was quite a difference. I provided my own packaging, so there was not cost needed there. Its unfortunate as I do like to support small business but that kind of price difference for the same thing was to much. read more

Way to go UPS. Will NEVER use them again EVER. After trying to send a "32 inch" TV to my daughter (in the original manufactures box mind you) with protection (extra packaging styrofoam FROM THIER STORE) our package gets lost, then when recieved it is cracked. When a claim is started, no one shows up 2x's to inspect, my daughter finally takes it back to a local access point (that she originally had to receive it from after waiting 2 different days and taking off work and it NVR showing up for delivery to begin with...anyhow(to see if inspection can be done after finally recieving it CRACKED) and it gets lost. Find out it was sent back to sender (me) and then is "lost", so I start a lost claim and it magically appears. So then I start a damage claim (because i paid extra for the insurance) and it is denied 2x's. IT WAS A 2 YEAR OLD TV. Lesson learned BEWARE OF SENDING ANYTHING WITH UPS, THEY DO NOT HONOR THEIR CLAIM SYSTEM. I called over 25 x's in the last 3 months to get this resolved through the main company and NOTHING..**crickets** Manager at Rehoboth Store, Jay, was pleasant, sympathetic but really was not too much help as he has to follow company policy which I get. I will keep pursuing this, but just beware that even if you pay EXTRA for Ins. THEY DO NOT ALWAYS COVER THEIR DAMAGES. read more

I'm only writing this because of all the bad reviews that I see here. I have used this store many times over the years. At times it's very crowded with a long line so I just come back when it's less crowded. Everything that I have shipped has gotten to its destination when stated or earlier. Some of the staff are just business, which is OK. This is not a social event. Other staff are more engaging and chat a bit, especially when I'm sending out my annual Christmas packages, usually about 25 items, which is a pretty tedious process for both of us. I'm sorry that some people have had bad experiences but I never have. I don't have time to check, but, as with restaurant reviews, sometimes bad reviews are a habit with some people. That being said, I suspect that there are legitimate complaints. When I use UPS in Ft. Lauderdale (I live there half of the year) they are even better than this store with respect to a friendly staff, not that these folks are unfriendly. read more
