Terrible customer service!!! My mom stopped by to get a notary for some documents and was denied any help because her English is not 100%. That is called xenophobia and just upfront discrimination. If your first language is not English please do not come to this UPS store. read more

They are supposed to stay open until 5 PM on Saturdays. I made it at 4:35 PM and they wouldn't unlock the doors and said they were closed.

This is the 2nd time I tried this store, I was returning a Amazon Product that did not require a box according to Amazon, this store told me they were not rapping it even though their contract with amazon required them to do so, since they had already given me the receipt that proved I dropped it off, I just left, and filed a complaint with Amazon. read more

As a business owner of 23 years' operating from coast to coast, I expected better customer service then what I experienced today. The young lady with the black trench coat and glasses need "lots" of training in the area of "customer communication-excellence." She was very rude and impatient at the beginning of our dialogue. She talked about prior customers in a negative light whispering to another older employee that I normally see when I come in. I have been coming to this location from when it moved from the Fry's Plaza - across the street to the current location and never had an issue until today. She does not represent UPS in the best light. She lacks professionalism. She was very dismissive and operates having ego out in front. Not a good look for UPS. I stopped by this location on 3/11/2022. I had a young man (white guy early 20s) help me and he was acting suspicious the whole time and was looking in my package to see what was in it. It was a return for an Apple Watch. I purchased a label and he made it too small for the package. Cost over $3.00 for 1 copy. He taped up the package and was very rude. I left and was walking to my car and was concerned he was going to steal it and I wanted proof it was mailed. I walked back into store and asked for my package back and he rudely grabbed it back and stated let me put more tape on it. He taped over the barcode to cover it so it would not scan. I didn't think about it at the time. I drove to the post office and the lady had trouble scanning the code and did not realize it until then. read more

The two senior ladies are EXTREMELY RUDE!! They must not like their job or helping others. You barely ask one question and they start shouting back at you. How are these two still working here? Okay, I left the store LOL because two days earlier we came in 30 minutes before closing to get a document notarized, the older woman Sandy said the Notarizer already left and will be back the next day in the AM. We come in today and now there are two older women one being Sandy and the other woman when she helps us out states "Oh, she does the Notary!" Pointing to Sandy who rejected us two days earlier. Awkward and funny, given at Sandy's age she probably doesn't give a damn about lying if it means she can go home. Man I really do hate customers that come in before closing but this was ridiculous (In a funny way lol). Sandy acted normal as if we didn't just catch her getting caught up LOL. "Sorry the notarer already left", anyway she did a great and quick job--5 minutes max to do everything. I drop off USPS and UPS pre paid packages all the time at the UPS store near my home in Goodyear. Tried here today and the lady refused my usps package, said they don't take them. I said there is a giant sign in the front window that says accepts usps? She said well this one is too big. What? Take your packages elsewhere. read more

I went in for a simple print (30 day permit for my car) Used the computer no more then 4 minutes. Was able to get my print. A guy helped me "heavier set" little unfriendly. If I could give this place a - star review I would. This store has since moved diagonally (northeast corner now) from its original location on 43rd and Bethany. I've always gone into the original location and have my fair share of encounters with the elder women in there especially sandy. You never know what you're going to get with them. One day they're nice the other day they apparently didn't have their morning cigarette because they claw your face out practically when asking for any type of help or for anything that requires more than lifting their finger to press a button on their register. I walked in today to the new location where the original OG's were still present at as well as two other new employees (younger girl and guy). Mr. Ted is the one who assisted me with my two Amazon return orders that I had a QR code for and all he had to do was print the label out and stick it on my packages. When it came to my second package is where my issues began. Ted attempted to tell me it did not need any sort of label on it and it would be sent like that, I asked him a simple question of "how will Amazon know my package was returned if there is nothing to scan on my package". He spoke very calmly but with a very condescending tone and told me "im trying to explain to you so you're not so confused, not all Amazon returns are the same and not all require a label". That still doesn't answer my questions Ted. I want to know what the process of it is then because I don't want to leave the store without knowing my $50+ dress that I'm returning is going to arrive so that I can get my refund. This turned into a back and forth match, and he literally gave me no answers other than that's just how it goes with some packages. Umm okay that doesn't work for me. Secondly he charged me an additional $4 for a box that I was just told by the other old timer was either $2.99 or 3.99. I got my receipt and I was charged $6.99 for the box, I asked him why that was and he said "prices change". I looked at him and said oh, they change within minutes of someone else telling me it was $3-4 less? He then rudely said do you want me to refund you? At this point the new gal who was just the sweetest took over because she saw Ted was only their to fight with customers and was not going to assist with anything other than gaining the new location a new negative star review (what's new). I wish I remembered her name so I can put in a compliment for her. I think it was shana or something along those lines. If you see this, thank you! Ted also then proceeded to ask me if I've ever worked in customer service before to which I answered yes. He then tells me clearly I haven't because that's not how I should be acting. Umm excuse me? You're the employee here Ted! Not me! The customer should always be right but at this location it's not a surprise that that is not the case because miss sandy and the other one are the ones that are setting the tone in the store with crappy customer service. Anywho, the lady who took over helped finish everything up and guess what? Plastered a label with barcode to get scanned on my return that "didn't need a label". My easy trip to the ups store turned into a nightmare all because Ted woke up on the wrong side of the bed. If you need anything with shipping DO NOT GO HERE! You will be left with disappointment, a headache, and bad experience. I'm not sure if the move was for revamp or to try and turn the negativity of previous reviews of the location but from the looks of it as long as those two old women are their this store will continue to get crappy feedback. read more

Typical sit on your butt all day and do nothing service. Had a package to be mailed they didn't accept it said I needed to go the post office even though there is a sign to left of the entrance that clearly states the offer USPS services. Also, I had some boxes of documents that need to be shredded they said they didn't have a shredder, AGAIN, there is a massive sign to the right of the entrance that states they offer shredding services. If there a zero for the star, I rather give it a zero instead of 1 star. This is the worst location for shipping international. I've been using ups for shipping international before at another location and their services is phenomenal. But this place is a disaster if you want to ship international. I was shipping a package to my family in Canada, shipping fees was $39 and it got returned because one of the item was damaged, so it turned out nothing was shipped to Canada and got returned. I've been shipped to ups many times and never have problems of returning. And they blamed on me that I was packed properly that it wasn't their problem. They said I have to pay another $37 shipping fees if I want to ship it out again. This is the first time and will be the last time coming here. Btw, Debbie was the worst customer service ever. My package got delivered to the wrong place and UPS claimed that they would help me with the package. I had to call three times just to get someone to email me back, and then they told me I couldn't file a claim because it wasn't my address on the package. When I clearly ordered it with my package. It's funny how the employees can be this rude, must be privately owned. Came in today to mail a package and purchase some envelopes. Walked in and said Hello to the guy working with no reply. He started scanning my box without any questions or comments. Did not ask if I was there for else if I needed help with anything. So I ended up not purchasing the envelopes. These are people who want your business but hate dealing with customers. No greeting, no pleasantries, very flat service (borderline rude). Been here many many times and, if anything, they're consistent. Dropped off a couple of prepaid UPS packages yesterday. The staff were in the back of the store watching TV. Some kid (rather than the usual old "blond" rude lady) scanned one package, tossed the other one into a bin behind him, handed me a receipt for the scanned package, and returned to the back to watch TV... without uttering a single word to me. If you want any warmth, don't do business here. If you just want to drop stuff off and spend as little time here as is possible, then they will get the meager job done without expressing any human civilities and bogging you down with kindness. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. Our mother passed and we had to get documents notarized for the funeral home. My sister has never gotten an ID because our mom wasn't able to take her before. We didn't realize what all needed to be done and the ladies here were so rude! Not pleasant at all. We obviously aren't familiar with a lot and are going through a tough time. If I could leave zero stars, I would. The staff here, 2 old ladies are so rude and have no interest in helping. After filling out the paperwork to send a package to our son, including his name, address and phone number and then confirming that he would receive a call once the package arrived, they never called and sent the package back to us. No refund, no attempt to try again, the label on the package even states "will call" and yet no attempt made and no one, including corporate will try to correct. If The UPS store doesn't make calls, why is the option listed on the form? Why is it labeled on the envelope? Just simply inform us at the time of shipping that we need to track the package closely and there are so many days to get the package picked up or it will be returned. Don't flat out lie to us so you can make a quick buck or $11. Will never visit this store again. Very disappointed! read more

While I love UPS, this particular store has terrible customer service! I was not greeted or helped properly. After telling me to print my label, I was charged $1.50 for the paper (which is normally free, provided you are shipping), then to be informed that they could not ship my package. Despite shipping with UPS continuously for my business, the only reason I was give was, "Some UPS will ship it, but we aren't one of them, and we have five stars." read more

I have been using this store for 17 years. Several years back it moved a couple of doors down in the same strip mall. At one time I had a mail box here too. That was back in the day when it was a Mail Boxes Etc. store. When UPS bought the franchise the surcharge went away to take stuff there so I started doing all my shipping here. The surcharge is now .20. The owner and his employees have always been nice. Many folks like me started not driving to UPS any more so in the last few years they have been much busier but I seldom have more than a couple of folks in front of me when I go in. Their packing materials are pretty expensive but I usually recycle stuff that has come to me. read more

The worst customer service out of any ups store I have ever been to. Returning a hilti tool on demand use with pre-paid return slip in case. The lady would not accept it. Stating the case needs to be locked. We use these tools very regularly and I explained I'm bringing it in just as it is shipped to us. Just as we always return. She said UPS won't accept it. I told her I would go to another store because she was wrong, and she threw the return slips back. Turned her back and walked away. Very professional! Shouldn't even get one star read more

This place is located off 43rd and Bethany Home rd in the Frys shopping center next to a smoke shop. It is a small UPS. The supplies are scarce. Employees will warm up to you after you joke around with them a bit. I have not had any issues with this location but unfortunately I will not be able to use them ever again. read more

Although the people in the store were pleasant, I shipped three large boxes moving my son home from college. When I received them, the UPS driver was not able to move them out of his truck without taping the boxes. They were wide open from top to bottom with things falling out. The driver stated that he would mark the shipment damaged and would not let me sign for the shipment. The driver lied about marking the shipment damaged. Try to file a claim with UPS is a waste of time. I will never use them again. read more

I have used this UPS store for many years and never had a problem or a shipping issue. The folks are friendly and very helpful and I have rarely had to wait in a line, I've only had one or maybe two people in front of me and that is on a busy day. Usually, I can walk in and receive immediate service. It is conveniently located. Although, the local post office is within walking distance of my home, I would much rather take the short drive and use this store. Maybe I shouldn't be telling everyone how great this place is so it doesn't get super busy when I need to go there! Ha! I give it two thimbs up and five stars. Good folks, great service. read more
