On 4/11/18 I ordered a scope from Amazon.
- I thought I ordered the one with free 2 day free shipping but I guess I goofed up. (This was the only goof-up on my part.)
On 4/18/18 I got the "sorry we missed you" note on door from UPS after work.
-It says to go to a UPS access point locker the next day.
On 4/19/18 after work I go the UPS access point locker and it's not there.
- I check tracking and UPS tracking says "Customer refused, returning to seller".
- I call UPS and they say that I shouldn't of gotten the note because NO signature is required on this package.
- They say it will be at my door the next day.
- Just in case I make note saying "Please leave package by door, no signature required" and sign and print name anyways.
Today, 4/20/18 I come home from work and note is still there untouched, no package.
- I go online and track package and now UPS tracking says "Undeliverable - Suite or Apartment number is missing".
- I call UPS again and explain. They say I'll have to wait till Monday (4/23/18) before I'll get a call from the warehouse manager to figure out what to do.
(This is taking way too long to get a cheep Chinese scope I'll probably take off and not use anyways.)
-My questions-
1) What happened to the three attempts rule?
2) How could my address be right the first day and wrong the second day?
3) How come every time I used UPS it has been increasingly difficult to get delivery. USPS never has an issue. FedEx never has an issue. DHL never has an issue. Papa Jons never has an issue. The Chinese Food place never has an issue. What exactly is UPS's issue? I know for a fact that I'm not the only one having these issues. I've heard countless people complain about lack of service quality from UPS and I'm sure you have too.
4) How bad does UPS treat their employees to where they're taking short-cuts like this? . . . . . Are they overloading peoples workloads? Do they treat their employs like crap to the point where none of them care anymore? HAY UPS EXECUTIVES!!! HAPPY EMPLOYEES EQUALS HAPPY CUSTOMERS.
5) Lets just for the sake of argument say it's a bad employee. WHAT ABOUT GPS? There $60 on Amazon so you wont use up any phone data and of all people who could use one, it would be a delivery driver. PLUS IT'S A TAX WRITE-OFF. What's the excuse? My place isn't that hard to find, try it for yourself. (2820 W War Memorial Dr. Apt C Peoria, IL 61615) There a big long level median for those difficult left hand turns too. Do your job, get it done or quit. If your really that miserable, find another job, DON'T MAKE YOUR PROBLEMS MY PROBLEMS!
- That way you're happy because you like what you do.
- Your customers are happy because they were helped with a happy employee who was happy enough to do the job right.
- UPS customers are happy because a job opening was created that was filled by a happy employee.
- That employee is happy because he got a job he likes.
- Both your new work place and UPS is happy because of more new customers from good reviews.
- Those extra customers bring in more capital so your new work place and UPS can hire more happy employees for lighter work loads, newer equipment, bigger pay checks, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera (theoretically)
- EVERYBODY IS HAPPY!!! EVERYBODY WINS!!! WHAT'S THE EXCUSE?
- I JUST WANT MY PACKAGE. GIVE ME MY PACKAGE! I NEED MY PACKAGE! WHY CAN'T I HAVE MY PACKAGE! I'M LOST AND WONDERING WITH OUT MY PACKAGE! SOMEONE GIVE ME MY PACKAGE! LIFE IS MEANINGLESS WITHOUT MY PACKAGE. THE MEANING OF LIFE IS THE QUEST OF MY PACKAGE. MY SOUL IS BEREFT WITHOUT MY PACKAGE. 1+1= MY PACKAGE (I'm not going to include the 'WAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PAAAaaaaaACKAAAAAaaaaaaGE!" part because cheep Chinese scope.)
EVEN IF the Quest for the Holy PACKAGE is completed, THIS WILL BE MY LAST TIME USING UPS, enough is enough. read more
