They ran their tests, charged me a fee and could not replicate the failure. Once I got the computer home, it crashed once the game was being played and they said they did everything they could and I was out of luck. I decided months later to see Adam at nerd rangers. He was very thorough in gaining background on the issue. He asked me whether the other repair shop tried to run the actual game? I was not sure so he went ahead and loaded Fortnite and said he would do his best to replicate the issue. Later that day he reached out to let me know that he believes he found the reason the game crashed (as it did for him) and he felt confident that he fixed the issue. When I went to pick up the computer he reassured me that if for some reason the fix didn't work he would continue to work with me to identify the problem. I felt they would be more attentive & affordable than "Best Buy's geek squad" My Husband dropped off my laptop for me after 4pm on a Tuesday. They closed at 5pm. I immediately started getting "update" emails from Matthew. Matthew was so professional and was just wonderful to have as my specialist. He constantly kept me updated with each step he was doing on my computer (I loved that). He called me to let me know my hard drive needed replaced. He gave me my options. I could use my warranty or buy a new one. Now here's where I was impressed, I thought my warranty expired after 90 days of owning my laptop. Matthew was able to tell me my warranty hadn't expired, that I could use it & when it does expire. He even went above and beyond by sending my computer to HP because it was under warranty. I figured he would have just had me come & pick up my computer, but He took care of everything!!

I pick it up from them, they didn't replace the fan, the old fan is louder than ever, & the screen now doesn't work. What did these guys do? They then called me telling me to buy a worse laptop from them for $100-off a $900 laptop (the one they broke was $1500).
