We use Tel-Star's cable internet service at our country home. They address outages quickly and we've had very few. Been a customer now for 3 years and would recommend their service to anyone! read more

From the Business

Specialties

We have provided excellent internet, video, and landline services to customers in rural areas around central Illinois for over 30 years. Not to mention we offer 4 to 8 times faster internet than the competition in most of these service areas. Our customer service team is locally based and treats you with the utmost respect and loyalty you deserve. Its people like you that continue to make our company great. Without the continued loyalty of our customers many people are forced to subscribe to big business where you are treated like a number, not a human. Tel-Star Communications is involved in your communities, we continue to improve infrastructure to provide even faster speeds through our hybrid fiber optic network, and strive to put a personal touch on everything we do. Your connection starts here!

Meet the Manager: Zach L.

My name is Zach and I am the Director of Sales and Marketing for Tel-Star. Before Tel-Star, I've worked for over 10 years in many realms of the customer service industry which include telecommunications, business sales, and other realms of customer aid. One thing I found throughout my time in the work force is that large companies often ignore the needs of their customers and staff. I knew when Tel-Star contacted me for employment that I would finally get the chance to treat my customers the way they wanted to be treated, not by some script given to you by your higher management team. I am glad that everyone else that works for Tel-Star operates in the same way and we can truly sustain the relationships we have made with our customers. To me, there is nothing more important to a company than their image. The money has always been second to helping people feel like they are actually cared about. With that being said, if you see a flyer on your door feel free to call or text me!
