I mostly use the store for returning to Amazon and have no problem. When I did ship an item to my friend in Ky. They packed and shipped with no problem. It was expensive but I thought worth it. Brought items in to be copied. Had the same package copied less than 3 months prior @ $248. Clerk charged $509 and refused to cancel the order after running our card. I called the Wasilla UPS Store and was quoted the $248. The clerk was extremely rude, refused to refund or credit the order down to $248, and told us the reason they charge twice what other UPS stores charge is because of 'inflation.' I asked to speak to the manager or owner and the clerk refused to give me names or contact info. This Palmer UPS Store IS NOT a company store. It is a knock off franchise owned by a Don Johnson. Called to ask about printing mail label for a return package and the lady sharply replied yes. Next, asked for the e-mail so I could send label to be printed and she quickly gave the e-mail and I had to request her to repeat it and she rudely, aggressively barked out the email address. I told her I was not trying to upset her and she said she was busy. Unfriendly customer sevice and an employee who showed no signs of caring about the way she handled the situation. The staff are so rude. Package pickup never goes smoothly. They constantly lose things that have been delivered.

I went to the UPS Store in Palmer to have a passport photo taken and mail my passport application. The service was fine and the girl behind the counter was friendly, but my passport photo turned out terrible. It is taken against a shiny white board as the background which reflects in the photo and totally washed me out. I almost left to go somewhere else, but I was on a tight deadline and wasn't sure where else does passport photos so I sucked it up and paid $11 for a terrible photo that is going to be on my passport for the next decade. If you want a decent passport photo, find somewhere else! read more

3 years ago, the Palmer UPS Store was Awesome! Now, in November 2021, the UPS Customer service is on par with the USPS, except UPS costs more for the same crappy service you expect from the USPS. $288 a year for mail service is a premium price for very slow, non-existent customer service. read more

How is it that you pay nearly $400 a year for a small mailbox but the UPS Store can't seem sort mail or packages received within 24 hours? You can raise the cost for box rentals but refuse to hire additional staff to get the mail where it belongs! It's almost becoming a scam! read more

I paid dearly for a package to be sent out of state to an address that everyone else seems to find, but I received a notice to correct the (correct) address? When I went to this store to see what the problem was this woman was absolutely no help or apology in correcting the situation. Had to call a long distance number and speak to somebody that could not speak fluent English. Horrible service from this location. They need training on customer relations. read more

Whoever the new owners are of this place are going to run this place into the ground. They just terminated the box I have kept there for YEARS because they failed to log my cash payment correctly. When I asked to discuss this with the manager, I was told she would call me. Instead, a woman with a major attitude called and told me I would not be speaking to her manager ("Kayla" is the only name I was given; she expressly told me I would not be given her last name or contact number). She said my box WAS terminated, and I would not be able to reinstate it. All my mail is being returned to sender and I have to change my address for THEIR mistake. Do NOT pay cash here, they admitted they do not record the person's name or box number with the cash payments. I'm disgusted and have never been treated this badly in Palmer in all my decades here. read more

Knowing that the store closed at five, I rushed there arriving at 4:58 PM. The open sign was off but the door was open and one customer was inside. The employee behind the counter asked me if my package required postage and I said it did. She said that she would not be able to send it because they were closed. I then noticed that they were balancing the register. I told her that it was now 4:59 and that they should still be open. She repeated that she would be unable to help me. Employees (Kayla and Stephanie) are VERY rude! The customer service at this store is NONEXISTENT! I would rather drive 40 miles out of my way, than be treated like I'm the one with the attitude! I left my number for the manager and it's been 2 weeks and no call back. I called again to ask why no call back and Stephanie was not only rude, but rather confrontational! read more

I used to be a box holder here, but some thing has changed and I am very dissatisfied with the quality of service. I thought I could be a package only customer, but It is not worth the frustration it has caused me. Sometimes I do not get called for packages for extended periods of time, and I just found out today they have refused packages that were supposed to be delivered to me.
