Came in to get my fingerprint cards done. It is done digitally on a machine, that is very sensitive to pressure and especially so if you're ridges are shallow like mine. Was a nice shop adjacent to Wasilla Wonderland Park. Would recommend to anyone needing to get things printed off as they do professional banners and more! Vet owned too! read more

I really wanted to have a good experience here but it just didn't work out. I went in to inquire about printing a welcome sign for my wedding on foam core and they were very wishy washy on the pricing, couldn't give me a straight answer. They had to call me back with the price and when I gave them the go ahead I figured things would be great until I picked the sign up. The woman told me "be careful and don't drop it because the sides will get squished" as if I would purposely drop it? It just seemed like a ridiculous comment. Then, upon arriving home and opening my back door to take the sign out I noticed the sign has bubbles all over it, only visible when it was laying down flat and/or from the side. I could call and gripe about it but I don't feel like you should have to do that for them to do a good job. Definitely not impressed and not happy about to 50$ I spent here. I have a PMB (personal mail box) here, I'm always greeted by one of the employees, join in small talk. Ive had prints done, copies, faxes that have all come out perfectly!! One of my favorite pictures of my kids on my wall is printed by these guys, not sure what photo paper was used but it's thick and sturdy and has held out a couple of moves unframed. Their pricing is fair, I highly recommend inkspot for all of your personal or printable needs!!! I have tried 3 times to utilize services at ink spot in Wasilla but they are consistently unprofessional and rude. Upon my last visit I tried to drop off a UPS package and they refused to give me a receipt or even scan it in for me. The elderly gentleman told me that if I want a receipt I can go to the UPS store and that it was, ..."no skin off of my back." I took his advice and drove 20 minutes out of my way and received professional and courteous service. Thank you UPS store in Wasilla for a great experience. I made a game I was very proud of. Asked for copies and laminating. I am very unsatisfied with my copies and the laminating! I took my chance and paid for them to cut out and I could've done it myself. My copies are missing letters or decals. I will never use their services again I really hope their is some else in the valley! At least have the courtesy to make decent copies! read more

Sometimes local business is not better. I will never use anything but Kinkos in Wasilla in the future. My cousin had Ink Spot print her wedding invitations and they did a good job, so we thought lets have them do the wedding programs as well. When I called and asked about pricing and printing options the woman was very helpful. She said that since I was in Washington they would email me a proof before it was printed. Satisfied with the process I sent the pdf files. A few days later I get a call that they found a typo and they had already printed the page. I had a discussion with the owner about why I had not received the proof. He told me that they did not think they needed to send a proof, and I was never told that I would receive one. I am a marketing director and I work with printing places on a daily basis, nothing is ever printed without a proof. He argued that I was trying to put the responsibility of proofreading on the printer. After going back and forth they agreed to reprint, but when we picked it up they had charged us for the reprint. BTW, the amount of money it would have cost them to admit their mistake and satisfy me as a customer $5.85. In short, they were unprofessional, rude and apparently do not think all of their customers deserve a high level of service. If you need something printed in Wasilla go to Fed Ex/Kinkos!!! They will treat you with some respect!! read more

Horrid and rude customer service. Quoted several different prices for the same job. After being told that it would be a 10-30 dollars for the setup depending on how much work they had to do. They were submitted 3 different formats of cards with the instructions if they had to make any alterations that they were to contact me and I would make them as to keep costs down. After placing the order and having the formatting done it has taken a full 5 business days to get a small order of 100 business cards done. They attempted to charge me the full $30 for the setup of the card that I had created and formatted. If you need any printing services done, I went to the FedEx store and they were able to complete the same job giving me 250 cards for the same price that Ink Spot attempted to charge me for the 100. I will never use them again and recommend that people not use them. I am a big supporter for small businesses and would rather use a small local business, but when it's hampered by poor management, inconsistent prices, and a very slow turn around you have to go elsewhere. PS If you want to support a small business and not deal with all the extra BS, it's worth the drive to anchorage to go see Alaska Printing. Twice the value with 10 times the selection. read more

They charged me $2.55 for one black and white copy, last time it was less than $1.00. Prices are not listed anywhere. I can maybe see getting charged 2.55 for a print if I am receiving a good customer experience, but did not get that this time. read more

I have nothing but compliments: Ink Spot's ability to mess up even the simplest of print jobs is something of an art. Someone who was seriously trying would, through sheer odds, eventually complete one job properly. The staff is very nice, and has actually given me pleasant smiles and enjoyable conversation as I use their paper cutters to trim off the weird excess of paper that didn't get printed on. It's nice that they don't ever commit to print deadlines. Its really awesome that when I ask "Can this be done today?" I get a "...maybe" or, my personal favorite "Within the next few days." It's always nice when I walk in and see 4 people doing absolutely nothing, and my prints that were supposed to be done were clearly forgotten about. It's fantastic when I remind them, and I watch the prints get done within 5 minutes, confirming my suspicion that they really were never that busy to begin with. All in all, though, I'll have to leave a 2 star review because there is no public restroom. Otherwise, it's probably the best place on earth to get your prints done if you want the mental equivalent of paper cutting your anus with cardstock. read more

"It's just business cards." was the quote I got after 3 days of corrections to our business cards. I included a folder with logo, fonts and even a sample and asked for a little bit of writing to be changed off the sample. After 3 days of pointing out basic errors to them I finally saw an email proof that looked acceptable. They told me to come in and sign off on a printed proof, but when I came in the color wasn't even remotely close to the emailed proof. I showed this to them, even pulling it up on my phone and they just looked stumped. Grey was looking brownish red, orange was looking really red... It took them a whole extra day (day 4) to figure out how to fix it (I asked them to color sample the original file when I first went in...that is how they finally corrected it). $25 setup fee + $25 per 100 single sided business cards = Outrageous cost Frustration and staff attitude = An honest review and I'll never do business with them again. read more

I love Ink spot in the Valley! The first time I met the owner, I was trying to cold call on him. He was oh-so-polite with me as he described exactly what he knew how to do (which was the product I was offering lol) and then he gave me pointers. :) The business itself is inviting for a print shop. Meme's on the walls; my fave is about why is ink so expensive and it is because it is made out of unicorn dust or something cute. The service is fabulous. There is always someone ready to help you; even when they are busy, someone will make eye contact with you to let you know you have been noticed. The quality of my items printed is always good. They are a little pricier than the long-term local print shop in town, but so worth it. The best little fun fact is that they do not charge an access fee or a per-click fee. The paper quality itself is worth the little extra. Without the extra small, stupid fees, this makes it so I can go here no matter what. Their prices are always comparable and usually better. Then you throw in great service with friendly employees... and you have one helluva nice visit to the local print shop! This is my favorite print place and my main one. I love that I run into others that I know. The personalities and service are a big deal to me. :) They make or break my business done at a place. The no extra fees and print quality is fabulous. I am a total fan of Ink Spot in Wasilla. Five stars! :) read more
