Employees here are friendly and helpful. However, due to the difficulty of finding a parking space nearby and the fact that the store is always crowded, I avoid mailing packages from here if it is at all possible despite the fact I live nearby. Once I do get to the front of the line, the staff is always efficient and I'm on my way quickly. Judging by the huge pile of outgoing packages I saw the last time I mailed something from here, it looks like more staffing is needed. read more

I went to drop off a package at the Palm Springs location and it was very weird to see that each of the employees had a tip jar placed in front of their counter and IMO is unprofessional. They have a very clear sign asking for tips! This whole tipping situation is way out of control and it's a turnoff. Does their corporate office require employees to ask for tips? Also, the employee continued having a personal conversation with the customer after completing their transaction and I had to wait for them to finish before I was helped. read more

(Great check-in offer btw!) Parking in the plaza is not ideal. Having to walk a long-ish way holding packages is not so fun, and the row in front of this store is the parking for an entires strip of stores, so there is rarely any close empty spaces at any time of day. Due to this, this store is not one I have on my radar. However, I did need something copied on the fly recently, and rather than find an out of the way fedexoffice, I just zipped over to the much-closer Palm Springs UPS store. Two very busy but nice and smiley employees offered to copy my paper for me in their copier rather than me even begin making copies on their self-serve copier. What a nice offer! Yes, please! Between having a lovely greeting, a quick and easy job, entering a small office that wasn't leaving the job to just 1 lone employee, and the awesome customer service- my esteem for the store has raised highly! The employees closed the store before their 7pm advertised time. I arrived a few minutes before 7 to drop off a big box, I got to the door but it was already locked & their gates were closed. I went in the other day to mail a flexible envelope package with a pair of shorts in it. Wasn't more than a half an inch thick and envelope was 14 inches square. Weighed 1.5 lb. Going to Pennsylvania. The young man told me it would be $35 for the cheapest way to ship. What?!!! I told him I just mailed a big box 27" wide and 17" high weighing 35 lbs. at the other UPS store at Riverbridge for $30! I asked him to please double check. He again said it would be $35. Thanks but no thanks. I mailed it out at UPS at Riverbridge the next day for $13.50. Will not be going there again even though it's way closer to where I live. read more

I've read many of the previous reviews. They are all negative. In the defense of this location, I offer the following: I have been a customer at this location many times over the last several years. Never have I been treated rudely or something less than courteous. They always shop for the best Price for shipping. One review indicated a refusal to ship something with AT&T. I had a similar problem, I was not certain what the problem was but somehow the information provided by AT&T was not what they needed to complete the transactions. The clerk consulted with a manager and the problem was solved immediately. Based on my intereactions with personnel at this location over the last 10 years I would recommend their services. read more

I gave this store a 3. I have been using this store's services for years. I have never encountered any issues and was very happy and impressed with the customer service and support. HOWEVER... my last visit left a sour taste in my mouth.. I was waiting in line to be helped, about 4 people in front of me. The service staff, helpful, polite to everyone.... My turn, I was nicely greeted by a young man, nice conversation..until he asked me what was in the box! Now grant you I have been going to this store many many times, and have never been asked what was in my box. I also noticed that no one before me was asked by this employee what was in the box. I proceeded to ask him why he would ask that and he could not give me a clear answer. Of course I did not gIve him an answer just like he did not give me an answer to my question. I still find that very odd.. I have since been using another place of service though this is closer. Please train your staff better. read more

This is the second time I've been to this particular UPS store and the second time I've had issues with dropping something off to be shipped back to Amazon and not have it actually happen. This particular time Amazon gave me the information that the return had been canceled which is untrue. This has to be the worst UPS store I've ever been to hands-down I go to the one down downtown Lake worth and there right on it everything gets done right no ridiculous waiting time at all for refunds at all. read more

The people that work here are shady. I asked the girl for some tape and she insisted she was going to tape it later. I insisted I wanted to see the package being taped and she continued to insist that she would tape it later. She finally taped it very angrily and said "are you happy now?" . package was sent to the store for me to pick up but the store told me they didn't have it for more than two weeks. I made dozens of phone calls to Wayfair where the item was bought and every time it tracked to UPS but they could find it. then frantically called apartment complex management because I assumed it had mistakenly been left at an old address and then stolen. finally went to UPS and asked them to check three times giving initials of employee who received the package and on the third try the package was found. ups employees were irritated and rude when asked to look both on the phone and in person. read more

There is always only one person working and the line is typically 3-4 people deep. Every time I have had an Amazon return it takes at least two tries. Today was the final straw, I waited in line while the one young man worked with the people in front of me only to get to the counter and hear "we're out of labels, I can't return that to Amazon using the QR code". Customers beware! This UPS store as well as the other one in town owned by the same owner charges $10 a day to receive a package. Most UPS stores charge $5 There is no grace period to allow you time to get to the store once you are called. If they call you right before they close they will charge you a holding fee. They were obstinate an unwilling to consider that their policies are unfair, take it or leave it was their attitude. read more

I've never been one for writing reviews but this place was just too much. As soon as I walked in the lady was siting on the counter talking to a man and didn't even greet me when I walked in. I hadn't placed the labels to my shipment because I've never done it and wanted to make sure everything was correct, all I did was ask and she said "the shipment says where it is supposed to be labeled" well I'm sorry for trying to make sure everything was correct, she tried to play it off but that's not how you treat customers. I work in the area but live five miles away and go out of my way to use this particular UPS store. Only once did they not open on time and that's fine (it happens). The store where I live is horrible and I always felt stressed whenever I had to go there (over a year now). I'll continue going out of my way for good customer service at Palm Springs. First, I attempted to pay with a credit card and the man at the desk told me cash only with no explanation (sorry I wasn't spending 5 dollars). 2nd when he took my packing slip and package, and clear weather protecting sheet he tossed them on the counter untapped on. This store is conveniently close but i'd rather drive to the UPS in downtown Lake Worth. I walked in to ship out some stuff and brought my own boxes (UPS boxes are overly priced). There is a man there with a heavy accent and as we were walking in he asked us if there was a problem. Maybe he asked because we had our boxes unassembled? I told him we just needed to ship out some stuff but before i could continue he said we could NOT pack up the stuff in the boxes i brought in. According to him UPS policy is that customers can't pack up their own boxes in the store because if something happened to a customer while assembling their own boxes the store won't be responsible.he told me to go back home and bring it back packed and taped. The whole time he was scolding us as if we did something very wrong. I walked in with the boxes because i thought maybe a UPS employee might want to see what we were packing up for security reasons. I guess i was wrong? This man was very rude yelling across at us and when i asked him if i can borrow some tape while i packed it outside he said i can buy some if i needed some. I walked out, they don't need my money obviously. I wish he could have been nicer about things instead of yelling at us as if we were children. PLEAAAASE go to other locations. Horrible service the people at the front are unbelievably rude, guess what ladies it's a customer service job! I walked in one lady was sitting on her butt in back and the other seemed to be annoyed I was there. I tried to fax some things it took 30 minutes till she finally said it went through then after going home I looked at the report and all it says was reason for error I went back the next day to just make sure it had gone to who I was sending to, the lady who was sitting on her butt the previous day was doing the same thing when I walked in and got up and was yelling at me about the fax, which is very unnecessary I just wanted to be sure because it had taken such a long time to go through. And it never said it was sent on my report. What ever you do do not come to this location unless you want someone with a nasty attitude. Hopefully they can find better employees read more

This is one of the worst stores I have ever been to. They have no idea what customer service means. I came in here the day on july 3 to have an envelope overnight-ed as well as put a pre-paid overnight envelope there to return back to me. The women there had me sign a piece of paper that reviewed the information was correct especially for the pre-paid overnight envelope that I would need to come back. I had the sender as my address and the receiver as my address. I received a call from the company letting me know they are unable to use my pre-paid mailer because the sender was put as the UPS store. UPS never told me they were putting this on there and it doesn't say that on the document I signed verify the information was correct. When I called this store directly asking for a refund since I had to pay $47.19 for this they refused saying they have to put the store as the sender. I have never had an issue when I went to Fed-ex with them putting a different sender. Plus they never told me this at the store nor does it say that on the piece of paper they had me sign stating who the sender was. When I called and spoke with the owner he just fought with me the whole time telling me I was wrong and he had to put his store address as the sender. I ended up calling UPS corporate and let them know what was happening. They said that he indeed was wrong and voided the transaction and that I would receive the refund in 2 to 5 business days. read more

If I could leave no stars I would!! I just moved to the area from boynton- when I walked in the lady behind the counter was finishing up with another person so I waited at the counter. Mind you she never greeted me not once the whole time. When she was finished with the customer she was helping she didn't even look at me- now I am the only one in the store. Since she didn't acknowledge me.. Me being me .. I let out a big HI! She just looked at me.. Didn't say anything.. So I said can I please have a 14x14 she walked to the back.. Again not a single word! Came back with a flat box .. I started to put it together- and asked for her help.. She told me "it folds" at this point I have had enough.. I simply said, you know what? Let me just pay for this.. And I'll go somewhere else. I'm glad I did! My package was over $40 to ship, I went back to my old UPS store on gateway & 95 where they are always so nice!!! I have lived in the area for over 30 years. When I have to return a package I have used this location because it is close to my house. When you enter you are never greeted or even spoken to by the employees here. On my last visit, a woman asked an attendant there if they shipped to Haiti, to which she replied, " Oh yes", ( and gave her a big smile) " we are all from Haiti at this store." So if you, just so happen to be "from" America, don't expect to find friendly service at this store. Try to find another location where your business will be welcomed and someone will great you when you bring in your business. UPS Corporate Office doesn't seem to think they have any problem with their employees at this location, but I beg to differ........and that's why I decided to take my businesss to the Fedex distribution office location in Lake Worth, where I am always treated with respect by employees who appear to appreciate my business, even when I don't ship to Haiti. I am furious with my shipment with this store!!!! My first ever eBay sale I mistakenly quoted $50 for shipping, and the buyer ended up being from Arizona. I went to FedEx, the post office, and lastly THIS UPS store for shipping. The salesman was kind and I spoke with him for about 20 min, allowing other customers to go in front of me because their drop off's were smaller than mine. I shipped 13 undamaged African masks, handcrafted from a trip my husband and I took years ago, paid $120 IN PACKING AND SHIPPING, to receive an email from my buyer that his purchased items were thrown in a box, damaged, chipped, and some broken. The 10 minute of my 20 conversation with the salesman was that if he could sell me a box big enough for my items, was that I would personally wrap my items so insure their delivery, even if I had to taken the box home, wrap them, place them in the box, and bring it back to the store. He assured me that my items would be in his care and that would not be necessary. The buyer of my items received chipped and broken masks all the way from Arizona and because I actually have a conscience, I now need to deal with the salesman that charged me A ridiculous amount of money, promised me delivery, and completely destroyed my product. read more
