I am extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism and customer service at this location…read more As a regular customer who frequently drops off packages here, I was turned away when bringing in my shipments, only to be confronted with a newly posted sign arbitrarily limiting drop-offs to six packages per customer for USPS. When I politely mentioned that it would have been helpful to receive advance notice of this sudden policy change--especially since the staff falsely claimed the sign had been up for a week--the older, tall employee with white hair was entirely dismissive and rude. Instead of offering a simple courtesy like accepting the packages this one time while kindly making me aware of the new rule going forward, he rudely snapped, "Well, you see it now, don't you?" and dismissively claimed the packages would probably just sit there for a couple of days anyway. If a business offers drop-off services for carriers like USPS, UPS, and FedEx, capping the volume defeats the entire purpose of the service. Treating loyal customers with open hostility and refusing basic customer courtesy is completely unacceptable. While the younger male employee who works here has always been exceptionally kind and professional, this older gentleman makes using this facility an unpleasant experience. Given the poor attitude and arbitrary limitations, I strongly recommend taking your shipping needs elsewhere

I went there with a "copy" project that needed to be done. I had two things that needed to be…read moreenlarged on a copier and a set of plans that I needed to copies of. I was there on a Monday afternoon and was told that it would be ready on Wednesday. They said I could pay extra and have it done immediately, or wait for them to do it, which would make it ready on Wednesday. I didn't need them immediately so I said Wednesday would be fine. They said keep an eye on your email because if they're done early, will let you know. I didn't receive an email so I went there on Wednesday afternoon to pick them up at which time they told me they were not ready but I could come back at 7 PM and they would be ready. I decided not to go back that night at 7 PM, but I went the next morning around 8:30 AM and guess what they still were not done. In fact, they hadn't even been started yet. So I had to wait and the young lady behind the counter did the project for me. I asked to speak to the manager, whose name was Shawn. I explained the situation to him, and he proceeded to tell me that it was my fault for expecting them to be done at the last minute?? I told him I didn't understand because I came in on Monday and they told me I could pick them up on Wednesday not that I said I needed them by Wednesday. He told me there is never a set time when projects will be finished; you just have to watch for the email that says they are finished. I feel like if I waited for an email I would be waiting still to this day. That manager, Shawn was absolutely useless and had no customer service abilities. Mind you I wasn't asking for anything from him, just letting him know the situation. You can imagine, I will not be back to this location or probably any location for this kind of need. Moving forward I'll most likely find another place that can do the job in a timely manner.

The storefront looks a bit sketchy, but there were signs for FedEx and USPS that gave it some legitimacy. The process was very easy, just dropping it off with the man at the front desk who was kind. I did not get any sort of confirmation or have anything scanned, which i found a bit odd. Then, a month went by and I still had not received word that the return had been processed, and when I called the Mailbox of Olympia, the man who answered the phone simply told me there's nothing he can do about it. I kind of figured as much, so I called the business I ordered the item from and they told me that a FedEx location (Mailbox of Olympia) had received my package over a month ago, but the business who I ordered from had never received the return. Thankfully, they were able to refund me even though the package never got shipped. In the future, I will be driving further out of my way to go to a corporate location to ensure that my packages get delivered. Maybe the package really did just get lost in the delivery process, but there were too many red flags (sketchy storefront, not asking for any info when I dropped off the package, unable/unwilling to help when I called) to give them a second chance. This store may be a good place to get small services done as other reviewers have stated, but I would recommend going somewhere else to ship valuables.

I was so thankful that a very kind man (can't remember his name) answered the phone. He was so kind and compassionate about the situation and made the process so much easier than I anticipated. He helped us pick out the perfect paper and then rushed the printing job. This is one of them and this is for THE post office. You could almost miss it, since it's basically a modular home on bricks. This post office is similar in style to the one in Bucoda. Small office for a very very very small town.
