First I always get great customer service here and I really try to support small businesses. But...I sent a package today and was charged $54 for ground US Mail. Now...I expect an up charge, but the up charge here was over 100%. The ACTUAL postage had I gone to the post office was $24. But the up charge was more than the actual cost to ship! This seems to be the case from other reviews, but holy moly...I'd rather wait in line at the post office. Expensive lesson learned. read more

I've been coming to this place for a couple of years now, always trying to support local over big-box stores. But today, I had a really disappointing experience that I feel needs to be shared. My wife went in to print out just 4 copies- something I've done many times before with no issue. She emailed the documents, as we've always done, and expected a quick and affordable transaction. Instead, she was charged nearly $5.00 including 2.25 for a computer rental she never used before . She didn't sit down at a computer--just emailed the files to be printed, as we've done countless times. We try to support local businesses because we believe in keeping our money in the community, but charging nearly $5 for a simple print job that should cost less than a dollar (I could've done this at Office Depot for under $1) feels incredibly unfair. I want to keep supporting small businesses, but this kind of pricing makes it really hard to justify. I hope the business takes this feedback seriously--loyal customers shouldn't be penalized for doing what they've always done. Let's keep our local shops alive--but also fair. read more

I stopped by to mail a SOCK in a small manila envelope and was quoted a price of $13! The clerk said it was because of the USPS and their restrictions on what qualified as a letter vs. a package, and because the manila envelope was considered a package she had to use the package rate. I declined and went to the actual USPS office - it was $5 to mail. I support a private business adding service fees, but a 260% markup, and then blaming it on the USPS, is ridiculous! read more

The redhead lady in the front has a very nasty attitude. I have been to this location several times and always encounter such rudeness and lack of customer service skills from her. I asked her for a receipt (a common business practice) and she always denies it. I don't know if they are trying to save paper or what reason she has behind this. This morning she said that because of the pandemic she can not give me a receipt because they wanted to limit the people in the store and how long they stay ( I was the only customer there). Although I understand that there are some adjustments, there are ways to convey a message using tact and courtesy. If that is what you expect, I suggest you look elsewhere. First few times I went here I was disappointed as a brusk gentleman helped me and seemed in a rush. Lately, last 3 visits a most charming young woman has helped with great enthusiasm and joy. I mailed my Christmas gifts today and some yesterday. I went to post net. I had a punch card... Send 10 packages and your 11th is free. I took two packages. One was free, and she said the red one was $31 to send it to Georgia! It was light with only a shirt in it. I couldn't believe it and decided to take it to the usps. It was $19.05!!! I'm not good at math, but that's a ridiculous fee... A HUGE commission. I will NEVER go back to that Post Net located in the Lacey Corporate Center. I know they need to make a commission and mark it up, but that's just ridiculous!!!!! read more

Rude... took a fax and the lady said. it did not go through.. The lady faxing said " i don't have time to keep re-faxing it" However, the store does not closes until close til 6.. Hmmm , it closes at 6 pm and now it is only 1130 am .. but you don't have time b/t now and 6 to re-fax? You don't have time or you don have time for a BLACK customer.. .. i think the latter. I have used this location many many times. A couple of weeks ago my folks came to visit. My mom wanted to ship a large package of expensive watercolor paper. Well over $150 worth of paper. We asked the clerk to package it up good and paid $44 to have it shipped. She never offered insurance. The package arrived empty. Very poor packing job. Tape cut and not secure. When my dad called the clerk never apologized or tried in anyway to help with the issue. We realize things happen outside of your control. Offering good customer service is just what you do when you have a business. I will be going elsewhere from now on. read more

En route through town today, trying to get some errands done I had to stop to get some resumes printed off. Now I usually either go downtown Olympia to the family owned print shop, or if I'm in a rush I stop by a corporate spot such as Staples or Office Depot/Max. This happened to be one of those rush times, so I decided to stop in this strip mall to get a few copies. First thing in the door, the middle aged woman working the counter was unattractively stuffing her face with some sort of chewy candy... Barely able to answer my question she pointed to a computer. She told me it would be $2 just to sit at the computer and print off my pages. Really? Two dollars to sit in front of your computer and click the mouse 4 times? I wasn't even designing anything, or taking any time.... but I figured whatever I need these documents asap and sat down and printed 10 B&W pages and 2 B&W of the other. The total amount for 12 pages black and white (self service, she moseyed over to the counter and continued eating candy, I did everything) came out to $7.00 and some change... for 12 pages.... It would have been less than $2.00 at Office Max or downtown, and I wouldn't have gotten a snutty pretentious look from the nasty woman working the counter, who was absolutely no help. I have been a customer for many years since I live in the area. In that time I have received other people's bills, not received my bills, had them continually reduce the hours of service, give me an access code that didn't work and now not only are they Not taking responsibility for a lost package, but are being extremely rude telling me that I am "beating them up" because I dared to ask what happened to the package when a reciept and tracking from FedEx shows it was signed for by them. read more

I have shipped from here a few times, and the charge is always way more than I expected. Before I ship something I check the UPS calculator online, and somehow PostNet always charges me way more. Today's shipment came to $50 and change online, but PostNet charged me $91. I'm never going back. read more

The ladies who work here are awesome! They were always super nice to my wife, Grace, and were always helpful when you had a question or needed some help. I saw a couple of terrible customers treat them like crap and the owner took it like a champ and handled it professionally. Being short on time today, I dropped off a package here to have them calculate and add postage and send via usps. I asked how much extra they charge and was told that they couldn't tell me. It was "corporate policy". The other women rattled off something about how they were a private business, not the post office. I replied that I know that (and I do expect that they need a profit, I'm not naive). I was just wanting to know how much more it cost. The attitude they had was rude, and such poor customer service. Since I was short on time I did use their service today, however I wish I had not. I will not be back, there are other similar businesses nearby. Additionally, my employment puts me in a position to recommend such businesses to those who ask. They have just lost more customers than me. read more

I've been using this shop for a while and have always had very pleasant experiences with the girls working. Especially the manager. However, recently, the guy working seems to have a bit of an attitude! When I asked why my envelope could not be insured, he replied with snark, "because we aren't the Post Office." Explaining this to me in a less condescending manner would have been much more acceptable. It's not the first time I've found him rude. I don't use them for shipping services because the up charge is almost 50%, but I drop prepaid postage off all the time and have bought materials there. The ladies are very nice. I always have a great experience with them, but there is one guy that works there who is not so nice. He is rude and makes you feel like you are inconveniencing him when he helps you.
