Man I wish I read the reviews before coming here. This place is a complete nightmare. I ship pre-packaged boxes through UPS all the time, and they usually have a trolley for me to move 8-10 boxes at a time. Mohammad, the owner (balding prick), says this location only has a 3 foot POS trolley that can't carry more than two boxes at a time. Mind you I have back problems and with no offer of assistance from the employees standing around I reluctantly had to use what they had. After bringing 5 boxes stacked up to the front counter pre-labeled and ready to go I let Mohammad know I don't need a receipt and said goodbye. Before walking out the door he stops me in my tracks and demands I hand him each 24 pound box or else he can't complete the transaction. The boxes are right in front of him - so I refused, telling him he can do it himself. This outraged Mohammad and he says F U! We get into an exchange of words and he tells me get out sob, m'fr you name it. He touts about he's the owner and can do what he wants. I let him know he cannot treat customers with this kind of disrespect no matter who he is. His employee came out scared for her life throughout the altercation and ran to the back of the store lol. I feel terrible for whoever had to work under the disgusting person. This dude has the shortest fuse and cannot believe he owns a UPS store. I called afterwards for my tracking number and his employee says he was too busy with customers at the moment to get it. Bad employees is a reflection of crap leadership. I wish I had read the many nightmarish reviews on here before I came to this hell hole. Those other customers are right: the manager here is the meanest, rudest, and worst bully I have ever met. And this is the worst place I've ever been (and I've been in over 80 countries). I went into this place because I made it my UPS access point, but now I think it is literally hell on earth. The first clerk was fine, but as he was handing me my package some guy who seemed to be the manager literally started yelling at me like he was a crazy in a lunatic asylum. I still don't know why, but the first words out of his mouth were: "I accepted this package for you, but if you ever do this again I swear I'm going to reject it." Reader: believe me: it wasn't just the words; it was the tone of hatred and rage that I want to convey. I never met this guy in my life and he's shouting and threatening me? Why?) He started ranting that if I wanted to send packages to his store I needed to rent a mailbox from him. Shocked by his bullying manner, I asked if his UPS store wasn't an official UPS Access Point (i.e. a place you can direct any UPS delivery to go to) and he said yes, but that it wasn't MY access point. (This was especially weird, since the UPS website said it was-- though I have since changed it, naturally!). I said obviously UPS thought it was my access point, since they delivered the package to me there. He said something bizarre like "Then it was UPS' error." This was really Alice in Wonderland, and I made the reasonable remark, "But YOU are UPS. This is a UPS Store." He really hated this and started insulting me more. Maybe he's a franchisee or something but if so that's even more reason to act in a professional (or maybe even...polite manner). I actually thought I would need to call the police because the guy was seething with hatred like nothing I have ever seen in my long life. I should add that he said "You have three packages," and I replied, "No, only one," because that was what I was picking up, one. Later, I realized that this was the third package I'd picked up there since choosing the store as my UPS access point, so maybe this was bothering him for some reason I cannot imagine, except maybe he has some complaint with UPS and is taking it out on the customers. Anyway, after I'd taken more abuse than I've ever received in any store, I shouted something nasty at him and left. read more

I wish I could do -2 stars. I had the worst experience dealing with the manager Moe Kishawi which unfortunately is the manager/owner. He had no idea how to work the computer for a simple return process. He was unable to scan my return label electronically, then says he must email the label to himself and print for me, for a charge of course. Oh and make sure you bring cash so your card isn't charged an additional 0.75. This place is so desperate and money hungry it's sad. Avoid this location at all cost if possible. read more

We have been going to this UPS store ever since we moved to Northridge from Chatsworth. I have sent countless packages via UPS, purchased supplies, and occasionally dropped off prepaid USPS packages to ship. Last week my husband dropped off a pre labeled USPS package and the woman working was so rude, "reminding" him in a clearly irritated tone the she was doing this only as a courtesy. We shrugged it off and thought maybe she was having a bad day, since we have always received great service here. Today I attempted to drop off the SAME SIZE package, and a young man working there refused to take it. He told me it was too big, and refused even after i told him we sent the same size package last week. It is unfortunate that I will now have to drive all the way to Chatsworth to do my business with the UPS store there, which is friendlier and more accommodating. read more

The UPS Store - Printing Services Near Me - Northridge, California

I had a package sent to their location which they refused the delivery. When I called them to ask why they refused the package the person on the phone was very rude and short with me and basically said that needed an account with them and it was my fault. Other locations do not need an account to ship to, terrible customer service. Even UPS Customer Service said they were in the wrong. UPS will be reaching out to them the figure out what's wrong with their location. read more

If you ever open a PO box here you are screwed because MOE the owner refuses to forward your mail even if you put in a change of address thru the post office if you want to cancel it. NEVER use their scales or buy stamps or do shipping of any kind here.The scale is not correct and they charge more than anywhere else. I have had them weight boxes and then taken to the USPS and their weight is always more than the post office. read more

I stop in here on the very rare occasion I need to use the postal system, which is not often. But, this place is always clean and the employees are usually very helpful and kind. As a modern guy I know less and less about using snail mail, and these guys make it easy. I bring in my box and the stuff I want to send, they let me pack/seal it up and give me a million different shipping options. Keep in mind this is a UPS store not the USPS, so you will pay a premium to ship here versus at the post office, but in terms of convenience, this place fits the bill. I would stick to the lines at the post office if you are looking for the cheap route. On another note, they have PO boxes for rent here and will accept check deposits for USAA members. read more

I had a box at this location for several years prior to my relocation to another part of the San Fernando Valley. The husband and wife team that operated this location were terrific!!! I was literally on a first name basis with them both. The location was convenient because of my job at a community mental health clinic one block away. I went in originally without a UPS label to send out a replacement phone to T-Mobile. The nice lady at the register explained to me that I should have been provided one by T-Mobile to print out and bring to UPS. I called T-Mobile that night and got that figured out. I came back the next day with my printed label and a sweet young man took care of my shipment. I had to buy a box to send the phone in and I was in and out in about 5 minutes. Bad serves. The guys do the serves very mean. He wants to steal your money. When I ask him why he gets mad on me. Mean serves. They don't want to tell you, they let you come back to pay money again. Moe is the bad one I ever seen he took $30 for notary and when I come back I want him help me to correct he don't want it and he means to me. He steal my money $30 I have to pay back $30 again. I ask him why do you know it not correct and you still took my money and let me go, he is means to me right away. $30 it not a lot but it not the right way to take from customer. This place is not too friendly or customer focused. The owner has a poor attitude, he does not like amazon returns, even though it's probably keeping him in business. I went to return an amazon item, they wanted to charge me $9 for a cardboard box. It's not the $9, it's the principle. UPDATE ON RESPONSE Thanks for your response, but the packaging the UPS way does not cost $9! I went to UPS customer drop off on Arminta just a few blocks and they gave me a box for $0. Second time picking up packages here older Asian man with little English came in and girl in the front was making funny faces at him and acting like he was doing him a favor by helping him out. Just was here dropping off returns for amazon. A gentleman named Michael was kind and helped me tape my packages. As we are finishing up an asian lady that works there was extremely rude and said "you need to tape this at home" and she kept yelling at me at a rude tone. Well, it took three weeks and lots of bad attitude on both sides, but I finally got my claim paid through the UPS Store. My contention in the original post still stands though: if you are shipping something valuable, do not do so through a UPS Store. You are just adding a layer of bureaucracy to the claim process. You are better off going to a UPS center and shipping directly with UPS. Then in the event of a claim, you can file and track the claim online. read more

He yelled and screamed at me and blame me for a package getting lost when it was clearly brought to their facility and shown on camera that two packages were brought in. He told me I put the same lable on both packages, tgerefore the loat package was my peoblem nor his. I disagreed vehentley. He offered to personally pay for my lost item and then retracted after he looked at his in store camera. I am reporting him and this facility to the BBB. Spent a lot of money at this place over the last few years, but never again. I was in a hurry, had two packages with pre-printed labels, but I had no tape. So I saw a tape gun sitting right on the counter and I grabbed it to use a few strips of tape to seal my packages and affix the labels. The owner (Moe - guy with mustache) literally went off his rocker. He told me customers weren't allowed to use the tape. "Fine, I'll go somewhere else." Then he says "what's the big deal?" Well, Moe, the big deal was that I was in a hurry and I didn't have time to stand in line behind fiver other customers when all I had to do was drop off two packages. So, you lost my business over ten cents worth of tape. You can't take your customers for granted and expect to retain the privilege of taking their money. read more

I have been coming year for about a year now mainly to drop off Amazon returns. They handle them without having to box and print a shipping label, which is very convenient. I am always in and out... Today I went in to get a presentation bound and they handled it very quickly and efficiently! They have convenient printing services. This. is 5 stars service. These guys go out of their way to help. Always smiling, friendly, positive and the prices are as they should be. Seems to be a family place? It appears there is a father and son that work together ( pretty cute - they look a lot alike ) along with another woman that is usually there at the counter. I am usually in some obnoxious hurry or all over the place asking for help with something random and they always have the most economical solution. I never feel there is an up- sell.
