We dropped by here to drop off a quick amazon return. Upon arrival, we had to Wait outside in a line because they only allowed so many people in the store at one time. It is great to see these social distancing practices especially moving the lines outside! Once we got inside we were nicely greeted and they had many representatives available for help. One of the representatives went out of her way to make conversation and made a good suggestion on a new dog harness (I was returning one that was in effective.) The staff at this store are helpful and friendly! They have a great notary and even when there is a long line, it moves fast. I have stopped going to the US Post Office. In most instances UPS is cheaper and faster! read more

My mom and I came to this location because I needed a paper notarized and it was one of the only locations in our area that had a notary available. The service was great! The people who helped me, Barb & Jennifer, were helpful. One employee in particular named Ally (or it might be spelled Allie) gave us great customer service! The line was out the door and there were some customers with attitude, but Ally was very patient, respectful, and nice with every single person. Ally was doing such a good job, she really deserves a raise! It's rare nowadays to encounter patient and respectful employees so her service was very much appreciated. read more

If you go on weekday, and the lady with the glasses is there, this store is awesome. Very customer-centric, answer the phones, etc. i went today - a Saturday and it was a very different experience. They didn't answer any phones for one. When I got there, the gentleman who I assume is the manager admitted to being late in the AM, overcharged me and basically said if he is short staffed, you're out of luck. The two other staff were rude (don't look at you and look miserable) and need a refresher on customer service. To make this store more efficient and better, look at what UPS Oak Park is doing especially with notary service. Have appointments or a sign that is visible so people don't have to wait in line if there is no notary service today. It's a crapshoot whether there is a notary service or not. The guy said to call but if you don't answer the phones or are short staffed, you're out of luck. Also take some lessons on customer service from the other manager of the store. Managers set the tone. read more

Worst service ever , no help what's so ever , the charge you for by the mins of use of computer to print out what you need ,there already charging you for the prints, then there computer runs slow and takes for ever for your files to load , and they charge you for the mins your not even getting to use , when I talked to the employees and manger , all they could say was that corporate wanted it that way. We arrived on the way to the airport with a rush packaging job. They grabbed our shipment and rushed to the back and begin packing. We had to leave before they were finished but they kept in touch with us via text messages. Everything arrived in perfect condition. In addition, a small piece had fallen on the floor during packing and was forgotten. That is, until Jenny found it and sent it to me in an envelope. Next time in Berwyn when I need UPS packaging and shipping I will be at the UPS store on 25th St. read more

I go in for notary services... Find out they don't have one on site everyday... So I ask which UPS store might be a better option to visit? Clerk in back says to "try the one in Oak Park!" needing piece of mind and so I don't have to drive everywhere... I ask "do you think you can call and see if their Notary attendant is in?" She then states... "we don't have their number!" of course she either was preoccupied with doing nothing in the back, and didn't actually care to help or that she's lazy. Either way... If someone searches for a Notary near me through any search engine, and this location doesn't employ one everyday... It shouldn't even populate as an option to visit on those days they're not there. Poor customer service, and inaccurate information about their business location/practices. read more

Went in just now about 2 minutes to 3 thinking they were open until 5 finding out they close at 3. Wasn't able to print my label at home and had it on my e-mail as a pdf. The guy working there was so nice. He emailed the label to himself and printed it up and the ups driver waited for us to finish to put the package on his truck even though he was just walking out the door. No attitude from anyone even though we all know what it is like when you just want to close shop and go home! Now that is great customer service. read more

As soon as I was ready, my stuff was boxed professionally and quickly. The checkout process was a breeze. I'm not sure whether to give 3 stars or 2. I had to ship a 24" LCD to my brother in California. It was in it's original packaging but the box had a hole in it so I thought it would be better to purchase another box and put the original box inside of that. The big box cost like $17! Okay, whatever, it was an unusually large box so I'm fine with that. Jenny, who helped me, was pleasant and packaged the TV in the big box and rung me up for $50 something for UPS ground plus the cost of the box. Great, grand and wonderful. This morning, I realized I had forgotten to pack the remote with the TV. So I stopped by this morning and to get the remote to my brother at the same time as the TV, it was going to cost $26! For a remote! And to make things more unusual, it was $1 cheaper to get it there a day before the TV. I was in a rush since I had to get to work so I opted for the $25 option. So it costs half as much to ship a remote that weighs 40-something pounds less? I'm going to try FedEx next time to see if the prices are as ridiculous. I'll give 3 stars because the staff was friendly in both cases. I'm just not sure about UPSes pricing scheme. read more
