Had an overnight package delivered by air that was received here. Came here to pick it up 1 hour after it was delivered. Employee that signed for it didn't remember where it was and spent about an hour looking for it. Poor attitude as well, blaming me for the failure. If I had not waited there for that time I probably wouldn't have gotten the package. read more

The staff are nice enough but printing something at a UPS is a scam! I needed to print a shipping label because I haven't had time to troubleshoot my printer issues at home. Anyway, it was literally one piece of paper that I needed to print and looking at the receipt, I was charged $1.99 for "computer use" plus 35c for the copy - what? Sending the document to the store email is considered a 5-min computer use? Really? Is UPS going to charge me for walking through the door next?? Anyway, I called them back the next day to see if it was a mistake - it wasn't. I called the nice big FedEx store on Newport Center Drive off Anacapa. Asked them how much they charged and for what - he said 23c for each sheet that's printed. He proceeded to give me the email address to send my label to, and I asked if there was a charge for emailing it - NO THERE WAS NOT. Ran straight to FedEx, my shipping label also came with a second sheet that was a packing slip, was ready to pay my dues and the nice person at the store was all "don't worry about it". I would avoid any UPS location for print services and run to any nearby FedEx instead. Even if you don't get lucky with a kind and generous associate, at the very least you won't get charged for sending an email first. read more

I am now being charged $1k from my insurance company for "failing" to return a device. Do not use this location, clearly some thievery is going on. I went to the store Sunday July 13th just before the store was close I needed something delivered overnight I was assured by the clerk that it could still be delivered by Monday afternoon at 430 pm since it was in Las Vegas nv only a few hours away from California. Even though I assumed would be picked up either that evening or early that morning since I don't know their pick up schedule. My husband was waiting for my car keys to be able to get to work. So when Monday at 430 rolled around and still no keys i don't call them because things can still be late nothing is ever on time so we wait believing UPS IS RELIABLE RIGHT. the store clerk assured me a few times it would be there Monday at 430 pm so on Tuesday I call my husband asking if keys came no keys still so I call the store this clerk states that there is no pick up on Sunday's and the pick up is Monday to be delivered Tuesday they do no give any refund per policy. Ugh this location always is bothersome to drop off packages. Even if I just have one package with a pre-paid return shipping label they make me stand in line just to drop it off which is super annoying and a waste of my time. If I don't need a receipt they should just let me drop it and go. I went here again and it reminded me of how much I dislike this location and how it actually saves me time driving to a location further from my house so I don't have to wait in a long line. I've been using this UPS Store since I first moved to the area 14 years ago. During that time, I've seen this store under three different owners and while I've gotten to know all of them and don't have any complaints, the current owners (Annie and Wenjie) are by far the best and the store offers better and more reliable service as well as exceptional customer service than any of the previous owners. I have a mailbox here and have since day one. I trust them with my important mail and packages, and to forward and handle my mail when I travel. I have never had an issue with them, and they always go above and beyond to accommodate me. I've used other UPS Store locations with varying results, but this is easily the best I've had and an absolute credit to the UPS Store franchise. read more

I didn't want to take a chance with it, despite the relative safety of Irvine due to recent package thefts in the area. Anyway, the online tracking site lets you know when your package is available for pickup and this location is right down the street from Irvine. I just took University Dr which eventually turns into Eastbluff Dr and the shopping center where this UPS Store is at is right there. The woman that assisted me was very friendly and easy to talk to. I didn't pick up on any of the rudeness that the other reviewers were claiming. She verified my information and handed over my package with a smile. I didn't realize how close and convenient this location is and will probably make the effort to go here the next time I need a package delivered by UPS. read more

The employees are nice, but the owner of this UPS store cannot be trusted and would not admit her mistake after she shipped my package 1/2 across the country to the wrong address even though the address was clearly marked on the package with a sharpie marker. I will never use this UPS again and just filed a claim with my credit card as services were never rendered. My 2 day shipment will now take 3-4 weeks once I find a new UPS store to shop from. FAST in and out here! This is a smaller location tucked away in the corner near Ralph's. I like this location because it's not super crowded like the Costa Mesa Courtyards. I came here to drop off a few packages that I was returning to Amazon. There were 5 items and on the return labels, 4 of them were going to the same facility. I placed all 4 items in one large box together and brought it in (opened) and asked to ship the 4 items together and the last one separately. I figured this way, it would save valuable packing resources and Amazon has never had a problem returning multiple items together to the same facility. The girl at the counter told me that since I had 5 shipping labels, I had to ship them separately and all of them would have to be in their own boxes (of which I could pay for, of course). I asked her if it made sense that since they were all going to the same place, why couldn't they just go together? That's not very logical,is it? She ended up giving in, and wasn't pushy and relatively friendly enough that I didn't feel the need to make it a big deal but it still left a bad taste in my mouth. read more

This place is lame. They are not UPS they are a franchise and are privately owned. They used to be mail box etc. They do not carry the way bills for you to ship corporately because they do not make any money if they do. They quoted me $60 for a box going ground. He wrote the weight and measurements on the box. He told me that I had to go fill out the bills online to use my corporate account and that he would not tell me how much it would cost if I did it that way. I went to the actual UPS in Aliso Viejo. They were amazing. They were nice. They had wayward bills. AND THEY TOLD ME THE UPS STORE LIED ABOUT THE MEASUREMENTS AND WEIGHT!!!!! She re-measured and it was in a cheaper price category. The owner of this store was extremely helpful! We went to this location in hope of getting wedding invitations printed and with this owner the process was quick, easy and painless. The owner even allowed us to cut our invitations complimentary while we were waiting for our other prints to be completed. Great location, excellent service. The staff are always friendly and fast-the opposite of the post office. I had documents that needed to be notarized and then sent certified mail, they were able to do both! I also needed to send my sister her portion of our grandmothers china which Rachel packed and shipped and every piece arrived in perfect condition. It was reassuring that I was able to insure it just in case. I had a thousand question because the china has more than just sentimental value and Rachel and the manager answered everyone one.
